Today I want to share with you a piece of information you may likely know. But then, no knowledge is a waste.

The number 1 reason most people fail to make money on the internet is because they do not know how to sell. But guess what? The internet actually makes the selling process very easy. You don't have to hustle like the " Oso Afia Boys In Alaba Market." You could be having a mid day nap and get a notification for an order; it's not hard and it's not easy but once you get it right, you are on FIRE.



When I started learning the ropes of this business, I always just thought of something that I assumed people would like and then I create and tried to sell. But the end result.... FAILURE!

After so much trial and error, I discovered how to effectively sell on the internet. There are basically 4 steps to selling online I'd list on here:

[b]1. Look for a hungry market: [/b]There are lots of people who are yearning for a cure or treatment of one ailment or the other. Just yesterday, a friend of mine sent me a message on BBM and asked if I had a treatment for " Barbae Infection". I'm sure there are lots of people with that same problem, in-case you don't know what it is... It's those bumps that originate at the back of the head as a result of using infected hair clipper.


If I can provide a solution for that, I can make money! I remember my cousin used to have that same problem as well and he spent lots of money to FIX IT. Hair loss Nko? You will be amazed and the number of people that want to grow long hair... Most bald Men want to join " Beard Gang"


The hair growth industry is worth billions of dollars and people will pay just any amount of money to grow their hair. What about weight loss? Stretch mark? Erectile dysfunction?


2. Provide A Working Solution: [/b]Listen very well, provide a what? " Working Solution". You don't want to sell sub-standard products to people. You don't want to sell stuffs that don't work! I have sold a particular product to some customers 10 times plus referrals from just one order they made. Why? The product works.. Coupled with my excellent customer service. I even had people buy from me even when they discovered they could get the product for less on the internet.



In order to provide a working solution, you need to device a means that will help you to reach out to those people who are interested in your products. This process is technical but can be learned.


[b]In a nut shell:

You need a 2 paged website to sell the product

You need to write great sales copy

You need an auto-responder to follow up with emails

You need to know how to drive " targeted traffic" to your website


Each of these processes can be further broken down. They are like courses on their own.

I just wanted to share with you this strategy.

Today I want to share with you a piece of information; for those who are already selling on the major eCommerce websites like Konga, Jumia and the rest of them.

It's no longer news that the fashion category of these eCommerce websites get flooded by lots of buyers; people are always looking out to buying wrist watches, clothes, belts, shoes etc.

Recently, I shifted my focus to selling shoes and I noticed a surge in sales... Just that returns don dey dey sha! But that not withstanding, shoes do sell well.

Just get shoes like Converse All Star Sneakers, Adidas and some other not so popular brands that are good, people will buy. Female shoes do sell well as well.

I know most of you already know this but for those who don't know, that's a head up!

Now the question is, how do you get these shoes? You can either import them from the import websites or you can get them from a big importer here in Lagos.
