First you need to have a plan of what you are going to do there.

400k is not enough bro, why not start a business here first. With that money you can source for good products and sell for profit online.

If you still intend to travel, with 650k you can get a visa with a job position. Like bouncer or security job at a mall. The company provides for your accommodation, it's a 2 year contract and within this period you can write a professional security exam.

Before the two years elapse, you can start applying for another job. You can still negotiate with your company and request for higher pay since you now have a professional certification. You wouldn't need to stand at the malls again, you can be posted to control room just to monitor cctv etc which is less stressful.

I once read of a story where it was alleged that Lagos home owners no longer lease their homes to single ladies, you must be married and present evidence. Such situation only add up pressure for women to get married as they are disregarded unless they can boast of a husband.

Like you said the more people feel pressured to get married, the likelihood they would marry an incompatible partner. Even the increase rate of divorce in today's society is an evidence of a marriage that should never had happened in the first place.

I'm of the believe that people shouldn't make marriage a priority in their lives and shouldn't set out looking for who to marry them. But should rather be on the search out for love and good companionship. When they find love, marriage is eminent.

Relationship is a ladder to marriage but relationship in itself isn't a springboard to marriage. Marriage mustn't be an end goal to every relationship. Embark on a relationship to experience love and return love and if marriage comes up, fine.

In a nutshell, one shouldn't date coz they want to get married, they should coz it guarantees happiness and love. Only then can we be close to certainty that we're exchanging vows with an ideal one. Else, marriages will keep crumbling.

I am not sure but it seems to me like most ladies who have gotten to the supposed 'age of marriage' are getting troubled over the issue of lack of husband.

Maybe what the Bible said about 7 women asking to marry a man and bear his name is actually correct. For most ladies the pressure of getting married stems from their peers getting married or family and friends asking the usual question ' when are we coming to Drink Your wine'

I know of a girl who out of pressure finally got married to a guy that beats her up. I don't have a choice 'she claimed', I have to get married and leave my Father's house, I am frustrated!

Some other species of girls have become so desperate that it shows in their acts. These ones are too soon to start talking about marriage, I mean you meet a girl today and tomorrow she's talking about marriage. That shit scares guys off though!
