Hello good people!

I'm a first-time international traveller, and I have no idea how to go about booking my flight to Canada from Lagos. I'm due to travel in January and my final destination is Edmonton. With all the airline prices and options available, I need guidance on how to even start.

I've checked SkyScanner, related sites and airlines sites also, but it's a bit difficult to sort through.
I would really appreciate tips and suggestions.
