naptu2:wow! Thanks for this added information. I appreciate. |
Wow! Never ever knew she was the wife of the late Dele Giwa. R.I.P D.G |
Sorry that she got slapped and had to be revived... But, how could she have taken the old man's N5,000, only to prepare him 'akamu' ? #JustCurious It would have been understandable had she prepared 'eba' with the said money. Now, she failed in both ways - No Eba and N5,000 missing. She did provoke the man to anger. |
Cynthiajay:Thanks dearie. I really dont have an idea of the price of the blanket. It was a gift. Best wishes and congrats in advance. |
livelystone:Congratulations, livelystone. Thank God for the victory. May he be a bundle of joy to you, forever. |
Iyomomo, a huge congratulations to you in advance. It is well. May God give you double. |
@modath Your comment made me laugh out so loudly here! @all "I am a girl, not boy. So kindly rephrase...God bless her" ![]() |
Trendy80s:Thanks alot, ma'am. ozycy:Lol at being curious. I must have been overly curious. Cant thank God enough. "It was my christening, today. But, did you know I had a good time sleeping all through?" ![]() |
BS: i'm gonna try this On 22nd of October at exactly 40WKS, I had this 'usual' painful contraction that comes at about an hour interval. It was so severe and regular that I wasnt too sure if visiting the hospital was the best option anymore because for some 3weeks already I have had similar labour contraction, and visited the hospital, only to be sent back home with my bag and baggages at 3 different occassions. Same reason -Os closed, Labour not started, yet. :/ (I remembered having leakage of fluid at 38WKS2D, and was admitted for some hours, only to be told again that Os wasnt open, yet!!!!. Really, it became so frustrating, and disappointing that I got so worried during my last few weeks of pregnancy. So I decided to stay off this Nairaland section and every other pregnancy site for some time, cos it seems I have read/known so much and was telling God what should happen next... smh I truly had to let go and patiently hold on till God's perfect timing. So on 22nd, at about 11:16pm after several contractions, we left home for the hosp. we arrived at 11:36pm. Got examined, and this same Dr wouldnt hesitate to tell me again, that cervix hasnt open up. Well, i wasnt going to believe his report anymore. My faith was much stronger, and I knew it was time to have my baby. So i asked him to admit me, that i wasnt gonna go home.. So I was transferred to the concerned ward. At 12:30am, the midwife did a quick check on me, and was surprised that I was 4-5cm dilated, already contrary to DoctorB's report! (Sincerely, that Dr. needs deliverance..hehehe. I guess he was tired of my incessant visit to the clinic already. Well, I wouldnt blame him cos he doesnt know how much i cherish this preg after a miscarg, last year. I only wanted to be sure everything was okay..ni o ). Now, immediately after the midwife gave me the goodnews that i was some 4-5cm dilated, it seems the host of pain neurons in my body system, summoned an emergency meeting. They got re-energized, revitalised, and re-activated... On the bed, and in agony I saw the stars, the heavens...I visited the gate, and back. Hmmm, I dont have the right word to describe the accompanying pain, as the slow breathing technique wouldnt work for me anymore. I just kept calling on that Name -Jesus! 'The Blood of Jesus' You'd think a revival session was going on. The pain was out of this w o r l d. (Not funny how this experience got me hands down, it isnt my first experience, howbeit, it was a preg/bs with a difference.Last stage of labour began at some minutes to 5am, I got checked, again. Cervix - 7cm dilated. The midwive did some membrane swipe, thereafter, I was augumented for some 30minutes, At 5:30am, I had my baby after 4-5 'pushes' to God's glory. Kai, no more Os is closed.. Na God Win o Guess who was surprised that I had my baby so soon? #DoctorB! To all women out there waiting on God for this kinda miracle. May He visit you in due season. May your joy be full, too before the close of year. Thanks for the #mentions and congratulatory posts. NaGodWin |
mamaboms:Congrats, teamie. Sending God's love and blessings.. |
Congratulationsssss Zaynieee and everfaithfulGod. Wow! God Bless your los, too. Wishing remaining teamies, supernatural delivery. Amen. |
So4baba:True talk. Of what use is it to die a Catholic or Pentecostal when our heart is not right with Christ? It's about getting it right with God, first. There's no denomination register in Heaven. So some christian folks need stop sounding so 'brainwashed' already. Making it to heaven is more paramount, than claiming allegiance to any particular denomination, methinks. When we look through the eyes of denomination, we are bound to call unclean what God has cleansed. Acts 10:15 |
Hello house, thanks so much for the encouragement in here....I had my Princess this morning, 5:30am, she weighs 3.73kg! EDD was yesterday, 22nd of October ![]() Thank You, Jesus! Best wishes to remaining teamies and, huge congratulations to other mommas. God bless our little ones. Amen. |
emmalexabl:That apology part is so uncalled for.. Haba! 3National Dallies and broadcast on TV stations?! Hmmmm, If men were God, prayer would be pricey and forgiveness of sins wouldn't be free. :/ Dear Oba Deji, let go and let God. ![]() |

Reading this piece is appalling, Prof. Rahmon..eberu Olorun o. How could the school deny relationship with the alleged victim, and prospective student of the University? Have you checked her data with JAMB to conclude that she didnt choose Unilag as her preferred University of study?. This is so heart-breaking for the poor girl, and rape victim. Also, If you could absolve yourself and the University from Oluchi Anekwe's death, then, the students' bedbug and mosquitoes trauma means nothing to you. To the rapist, Baruwa, may justice be served thee in fullest measure. *amen* |
Virtuouswife:Congratulations, Ozycy!!!! & Virtuouswife. God be praised. May your little ones be sources of everlasting joy and blessings to you. Amen. |
destinysaid:If you think you can do a thing, or think you can't do a thing, you are right -Henry Ford. Now "If you think you can get a job with a 2.2 result or you think it's not even possible to get a job because you graduated with a 2.2 well, either way... you are right" -Experience. Don't limit yourself because of your result. However, if it bothers you so much, you could upgrade, by doing some professional courses or Master Program. #My2Cent |
Congratulations, Juwonesho & Stadora! Zaynie, your post on brown discharge was succinctly stated. (y) |
Wokeyim:Congratulations, Wokems!!!! Praise God. Abeg, we dont want that 'cry story' o, grab your loving daughter with huge thanks and appreciation. Reminds me of a mum I met in the hosp on Saturday. She's got 3 girls already and a fourth try for a male child, gave her two bouncing baby girls (twins) . Abba Father knows what we need, and he gives us accordingly. Congratulations once again. ![]() Shout out to remaining teamies, by His grace, we all are sharing our testimonies, soon, laagbara Olorun. |

For every momma visiting the labour/delivery room, this month and every other month, Please don't forget to say a word of prayer. This singular act would mean so much. And, for those ttc, our collective prayers and declaration could make much difference too. Prayers work. Just feel we should pray more for ourselves.. ![]() |

heartlessbeing:Good One..Good One. I pray things work out as planned. It truly baffles that a woman could have such a hardened 'criminal' heart. It's so shameful. We pleaded with her, sent her messages off and on NL, yet, she remained adamant and unwilling to return peachtree's money. Jennifer, I hope you are reminded of this thread, every time you close your eyes to pray to God. ![]() You have not done well. |
. . . |
Pls, let's give her till midnight - 12:00am. It's still month end. And, the time is just 9:58pm. Miracles do happen even at the eleventh hour. |
AwesomeGodIAv:Teegali...everything's going to be alright. Be strong, dear. Take heart and God would replenish you in greater folds. (((Blessings))) |
