PoliticsRe: The True Beauty Of Lagos In Pictures!!!! by justhelp(m): 12:24pm On Apr 29, 2013
What u posted does not make any sense at all because those are pics from getto that u can even find in USA,China even some part of europe those condition happens around highly populated cities where u can find jobless and poor people, however why don't u show us more from maryland,GRA,Ikeja and part of Lagos Island, if u think it is duties of Lagos State Govt to combart poverty in Nigeria I think u need to be check. We are in a societies where there must be rich and the poor, that is why some people like yourself need to be checked because there is also something called poverty of Brain. Lagos State stand for her self not to be condenmed by any one, no cities is completely perfect so clear and pack well, infact show us the pics of your village.Bad belle
PoliticsRe: We Will Win Lagos In 2015 - PDP by justhelp(m): 12:27pm On Apr 28, 2013
teskyg: We are tired of APC in Lagos.Talk to everyone in the streets of Lagos,do an opinion poll. The result is glaring.PDP need to get their ass together, present a credible and grassroot person and Apc is history in Lagos.
first let me tell you that am not a politician but am a lagosian, on your comments I think you are ON YOUR OWN and that is yours alone Lagos State will never be taken by the PDP come 2015 even if they spend all their life on it am certain about this because PDP is falling the Nation at the central and lagos is one of the few states where government is working for the people but if you think am lying leave lagos to any of PDP governed state and come back to share the testimony, why are their governors having crisis or you don't follow PDP or may be you don't even know that Lagos state is a pace setter for other state even the PDP state want to copy the accomnplishment of Lagos because PDP has no manifesto, no agenda , no poeple oriented programs, have ever ask your self the reason why PDP hate Lagos so much, it is just Lagos is the place where real Democracy started working in Nigeria and that is why the people in some state fought so had to send PDP packing in their states because PDP is a failed Government. Very soon you will witness another sea port and interntional air port in lagos state that we create thounsand of jobs but if you think you don't want it pack and leave for your state, you see people coming to Lagos everyday despite your claim if there not enjoy the changes why are they still in Lagos or name any developed cities outside Nigeria that people there will not pay tax for everything they use or if you are giving opportunity now to travel and leave in uk,us or canada you will grap it but remember when you get there either citizen or outsider you must pay tax abide by the rules.so mr man Lagos State stant out because Lagosian know what they want and they go for it.
EducationRe: 1.2m Candidates Wont Gain Admission.fg by justhelp(m): 9:47am On Apr 28, 2013
iwanchop: The last time I checked Nigeria has
129 universities,44 polytechnics and
37 colleges of education,altogether
210 higher institutions having a
carrying capacity of 520,000 students
(according to the minister).
Suppose the number of higher
institutions is doubled,we would have
have 420 institutions with carrying
capacity of at least
2*520,000=1,040,000 which is still less
than the number that sat for UTME
this year. How long will it take Nigeria
to have at least 420 higher
institutions?5,10,20 or 40 years?It
took us 66years (from 1947 when
Yabatech was founded) to have
210 .Don't forget the number of
candidates eligible to write the exam
increase yearly.Are prospective
candidates not in trouble?Clearly
more candidates will continue to sit at
home while very few are admitted.
Many have argued that if a candidate
pass well then he would be offered
admission,my question has always
been do u have to pass well to be
offered admission.Are higher
institutions for brilliant students only?
If you say they are,why then do we
have 3rd class, pass and fail grades in
our higher institutions?
The problem we have with higher
institutions admission is that the the
number of students applying to these
school s is far more than their
carrying capacities,the problem is
absolutely not JAMB as a lot of
candidates have ignorantly said.
Clearly more of our students would
continue to travel to Ghana,S/
Africa,Gambia,Lebanon,Malaysia and
even Iran to seek admission
My Brother am not suprise if Nigerian students will seek admission even in Benin and Niger Republic.Just listen to our minister stated clearlly that more than 1 m studens seeking admission will not be admitted even if they passed so jamb may even purposely fail more candidates. What are we talking about even the little one that will be admitted majority of them will be receiving their lectures through the lecture room windows. For the minister to come out and said there nothing the Government can do than that the mr president is concerned she will have to resign her appoitment because she has nothing to offer the country.
