Rivers State Safety And Defense Training

As part of our commitment to ensure that Rivers state is safe and secure, we are going to establish the Rivers State Safety and Defense Training camp in cooperation with the security agencies.

About Rivers State Safety And Defense Training:

1. The training is only eligible to Rivers State citizens.

2. The training is all about safety and defense mechanism.

2. The training will last for 1 year and 3 months. (Note that a monthly salary will be paid to all participants during the training.)

3. You must be at least 18yrs and not more than 35yrs to join the training school.

4. It will be passed into law and become mandatory for all Rivers State higher institution graduates. Only those who have health issues with verified doctor reports from only Rivers state government hospitals will be excepted from the training.

5. Graduates from the training have the option to be recruited into the Rivers state/Niger Delta Regional Security Network.

With this move, an average Rivers State youth will have the safety and defense mechanism knowledge to defend, protect our land, lives and properties without fear of intimidation.

Job opportunities:

Those who complete the training can gain employment in the Security service with their certificate.

Dumb people.

This is not from the state government. This is one of our promises to Rivers people when we get elected.

Over the years, religious activities have contributed to the lost of life, properties and defrauding of our people and we are determined to bring a positive reform and regulation of all religious activities in the state for the peace and development of Rivers people and it’s residents.

We are not restricting anybody from practicing any religion but we will not allow any of such religion to destabilize our state so we will set up a body that will oversee the activities of these religions and prevent public disturbances,fraudulent activities, maltreatment of members/ritual killings in the name of prayer.


The Reform:

We are going to start by probing all the financial activities and corporations between the state government and the various religious organizations over the years to see if there are corrupt cases to answer. We believe these religions leaders are of truth and would give us honest answers when they will be invited by the committee that will be set up in cooperation with the EFCC.

We are also going to look into the activities of these religious organizations to see if they are connected with ritual killings and defrauding of our people.

The Regulation:

We are going to ensure that, religious organizations do not disturb the peace of Rivers people who may not share same faith with them which can lead to crisis if not regulated.

All religious organizations in the state must register with the state government for security reasons.

We are also going to stop the televising/reporting of any religious activities in the state on government owned TV and Radio stations. This is because there are religious broadcasts on Govt owned TV and Radio stations that can eventually lead to crisis as there are Rivers people who have made complains over the years about these broadcasts which some Rivers people see as a threat to their culture and traditions as people.

My government will not be a sectional govt, it will be a govt where the voice of Rivers people will be heard irrespective of their religion, culture, or ethnicity. We want Rivers state to be a state with peace, respect and love amongst it’s residents while carrying out their various activities.

As part of our agenda to tackle housing challenges for rivers people when we take over the leadership of the state, we plan to construct over 30 towers within the urban areas of the state.

About the Rivers State Citizens Towers

1. Each of the towers consist of an executive three bedroom apartments to contain over 6,000 families. The modern towers will come with a play ground, pool, restaurant, gym and pharmacy.

2. The apartments will be available for sale to only Rivers state citizens especially civil servants who will pay on installment within a period of time from their monthly salaries. Those who meet the terms will be allocated apartments while on installment payment.

3. The moment the installment payment is completed, the rivers citizen gets full ownership of the apartment but can not be sold to a non indigene of the state.

4. A moderate monthly tax will be paid by the occupants of the apartments.

Note: The owners of the land of these apartments will be on a monthly payroll from part of the taxes paid as part of their ancestral rights to the land.

We want to tackle the housing difficulties rivers people face in the state especially in the urban areas, we want to support those who want to leave in the urban areas and contribute to the development of the state with affordable modern apartments which will boost the life standard of rivers people, the economy of the state, and create revenue for the state government.

It’s the Justice for Rivers State Movement!

As part of our agenda to create jobs in Rivers state when we come on board, we will be investing in the agricultural sector by establishing a marijuana farm amongst other farms that would be set up in the state.

It is true that marijuana smoking is illegal in Nigeria today, but we want to make it known that the purpose of establishing this farm is for medical use for our health institutions and drug companies in the country and also for exportation to other countries which is in high demand across the globe. Countries like Jamiaca, America just to name a few are making huge revenue from marijuana sales.

About the Rivers State Marijuana Farm.

1. With partnership with top Jamaican weed farmers, we will be able to produce thousands of grams of fresh high grade Port harcourt weed.

2. The farm will have accommodations and restaurant for workers and they will be working base on shifts.

3. Packaged and boldly written “For Medical Use Only” would be available for sales in grams at a very affordable rate.

4. Doctors and medical professionals with license from the ministry of health can be able to purchase our high grade Port Harcourt weed for medical use!

Cannibals have great medical advantage and we have rich soil to grow quality marijuana and generate huge revenue from it. So we are not going to ignore this fact, we will get the necessary approval to make this project a reality.

As part of our agenda to create jobs for Rivers People when we get into office, we plan to construct a Rivers State fish factory aimed at creating jobs for Rivers people which will also increase the state generated revenue of the state.

About the Rivers State Fish Factory.

1. It will process fresh and smoked varieties of fish.

2. While the fish factory would buy specific type of fish from the local fishermen within Rivers state and the Niger delta region, it will also have it’s own fishing department.

3. The capacity of the fish factory which comes with a mini port, will be able to meet international demand across Africa and the world.

Our administration will focus more on embarking on projects that will create jobs for rivers people and increase the state generated revenue. With this project, a lot of our mothers, fathers, youths will be employed and have a reasonable monthly pay as a civil servant.

What is wrong with our political leaders?? for many decades, the Nigerian political leaders have continue to commission uncompleted substandard roads for huge sums and Nigerians have continue to remain mute and celebrate this awful action of these leaders who budget huge sums for road projects.

As part of our agenda to create jobs and secure the lives and properties of Rivers people when we come into office, we plan to construct modern sidewalks across major roads in Port Harcourt and the entire Rivers state to ease traffic and enable the economy of the state grow. We are also going to ban street trading in major roads across the state because we have discovered a lot of these roadside traders have played huge role in causing traffic and littering of the streets.

Please note the follow:

1. It will be illegal for any trader to place goods on these sidewalks, or practice street hawking along these sidewalks.

2.There will be no parking of cars on these sidewalks

3.A public waste bin would be placed along these sidewalks for public use.

We must ensure that the streets of Port Harcourt meets international standard as part of our efforts to make Port Harcourt a true modern city.

This is what Nigeria government should do to Facebook,Whatsapp, and Instagram.

These platforms do not pay tax to the federal government, but they make billions from Nigeria monthly while creating jobs in their host countries.

Those social media apps should be banned in other to boost indigenous social media platforms developed by Nigerians with “Nairaland” as a clear example of how creative Nigerians are and how we can create huge employment opportunities for Nigerians.

Do you know how much these platforms make from companies to show their products to Nigerians??

Imagine if those company were to pay those huge sums to Nigeria social media platforms? It will not only boost our economy and create jobs it will also secure our informations.

As part of our agenda to create jobs in Rivers state when we come into office, we plan to establish the “Rivers State Graduates Investment Funds” to enable Rivers state indigenes who have graduated from higher institution within Nigeria and have completed NYSC, to have access to funds to set up their own business in line with their field of study.

How the Rivers State Graduates Investment Funds works:

1. You must be an indigene of Rivers State

2. You must be a graduate of a Nigerian university

3. You will apply and give detailed explanation on what kind of business and how you hope to employ at least five people from Rivers state.

4. You will be required to go through an oral interview before a panel that would be set up for screening.

5. Each student would receive between N500k and N700k depends on the field of study.

With this project, a lot of jobs will be created, which will also boost the state economy and place Rivers youth In a financial state that would help make their dream come through as they graduate from the higher institutions keeping them busy, productive and not idle and jobless as there are no available jobs for all our children graduating from their various schools after spending huge sums and years studying.

Thank you. By the time we are able to achieve this, Rivers state will be the most secure state in Nigeria and a lot of states would follow suit.

If every state do this, in few years time majority of Nigerians will have a data with the govt and this will help to boost security and tackle illegal immigrants in the Country.

As part of our agenda to create jobs and secure the life and properties of Rivers people and it’s residents when we come into office, we plan to construct a border stations (”Rivers State Border Checkpoint“) across all Rivers state border with neighboring states.

How the Rivers State Border Checkpoint works:

1. The border checkpoint has a large bus station where all the private/public transport vehicles coming into the state must stop and offload for the passengers to go through a very quick security checks within a few minutes to safe travelers their time. Part of this security checks, you will be captured by a cctv camera and a govt issued I.D of any kind will be required before you are allowed to enter into the state and continue your journey.
In my administration, I want Rivers people to know who is entering into our state for security reasons. With this measures we can be able to capture wanted criminals,terrorists,illegal migrants from other countries trying to hide in our state and also it will encourage Rivers people and Nigerians to get a govt identification and aid the federal govts effort in having a data of all Nigerians like other advanced countries.

2. There will also be a lot of high class VIP buses by the Rivers state govt to help create jobs for rivers youths who will work as drivers and get a reasonable pay monthly.

The reason for the high class VIP buses is because, the Rivers state govt would love to generate good revenue from the transportation sector as a lot of travelers coming to the state would choose to end their trips with their various transport companies the moment they arrive the Rivers State Border Checkpoint and book our high class VIP bus that is more cheaper and comfortable with professional drivers.

As part of our effort to generate revenue from the transportation sector, we will also connect all the State border stations to Port Harcourt city the capital by a high speed mono railway. With this a lot of travelers would love to use the high speed train the moment they arrive the Rivers State Border Checkpoint hereby generating revenue for the state.

You can’t just build an electronics factory, where will you get the chips, the steel, the aluminum meant for the project, who will fund it, where will you get the money to fund it, how much will it produce, which company will operate it. You need the private sector to do these projects the governments job is to provide a good and stable environment for projects like this to take off. By building roads, rails, water supply, electricity, free WiFi, tax levies, industrial parks etc. that’s the governments job.

The corrupt governments have stolen the masses so much that they can’t believe wonderful projects like this could become reality in Nigeria today.

We have done our considerations, and no matter how long it would take, we are committed and we believe with proper management of Rivers State govt resources, we will make this project a dream come through.

It’s the Justice For Rivers (JFR) Projects.

While we are ashamed of our government on how they have been wasting our resources on irrelevant projects, take a few minutes of your time to look at what we plan for our people when we get to power.

As part of our agenda to create jobs in Rivers state, we plan to build an electronic factory for the production of electronic accessories for phones,computers and other electronic devices.

We choose to locate this electronic factory in Bori because of it’s closeness to the Onne sea port as we plan to export these electronic accessories to other West Africa countries.

While we will give I.T students from Rivers state and across Nigerian universities the opportunity to do their various programs here and get paid, this project will also create a lot of jobs for our graduates,boost the economy of Rivers state, the Naira currency and reduce stress from business men who spend money and time to import these electronic accessories from china and other foreign countries.

We desire to have our label “Made in Rivers” on “phone,computer and other electronic accessories that is in high demand in Nigeria and other parts of Africa.

It’s the Justice For Rivers (JFR) Projects.

As part of our agenda to create jobs in Rivers state, we plan to construct a high speed rail transportation system, connecting all the 22 local govt headquarters to the capital city Port Harcourt.

When this project is completed, it will boost the economy of Rivers state, making it a smart city with the best transport system in Africa.

With this project, everyone must not live in Port harcourt where cost of living is high,this project will help to decongest Port harcourt and spread development across every local govt of the state. You can live in any local govt in the state and still go to work in Port harcourt in less than 45mins and return back same day after work. It’s a high speed train.

Alot, i mean a lot of jobs will be created. This is the kind of project that will create jobs for the people, create revenue for the state, attract investors to the state, create opportunities for residents of the state doing business and make the state a smart city.
