The Police in the Scottish city of Glasgow have confirmed the arrest of a 32-year-old Muslim man in connection with the murder of a 40-year-old shopkeeper, Asad Shah, four hours after he wished Christians a ‘Happy Easter’ on social media, MailOnline reports.
Shah had gone on Facebook on Thursday evening to write: “Good Friday and a very Happy Easter, especially to my beloved Christian nation.”

And he added: “Let’s follow the real footstep of beloved holy Jesus Christ and get the real success in both worlds.”

Also, he was due to meet some Christian friends on Friday evening to discuss the importance of Easter before he was murdered just outside his newsagents shop.

He had in his previous posts on social media advocated for religious tolerance and spoken against hatred and violence.

He was killed with a knife around 9pm local time, four hours after he posted the Easter message on Facebook.

We all have been talking how bad and corrupt nigeria police are.
But something happened today that made me laugh like say I don run kolo.
Ok straight to the point.
I took a form to police station yesterday for DPO to sign and they told me they will get back to me through my phone number on the form I know deep in my heart that its another lie from our so call friend.
I waited through out yesterday I didn't see their call so I decided to go today. They said DPO is yet to endorse it. So I went back but this evening around 6pm a glo number flashed me twice so I decided to flash back due to my low airtime, the number still flashed back so I just stopped flashing back till I get airtime. Just now around 10 I called the number back and found out that it's from the station.
A woman answered it asking who is this and I explained. She was like so you this the right time for you to call since have been flashing you to come and take ur form since evening.
I was just surprised and laughing at same time that police even lack airtime to give information..#smh
