The country is so hard anyone would do anything for money. After judgement was passed, we whisked him away to a different location to remand him in our custody. I really wish he could be given a second chance at life. He doesn't deserve this treatment at all.

Are you mad? Give who a second chance? The lady he slaughtered out of sheer stupidity thinking he will get rich, does she have the opportunity of a second chance in life?

Politics / The Militarization Of The Nigerian Police Another Fall Out Of The Un-civil War by JUSTICETHEO: 11:42am On Jul 18, 2018
Prior to the civil war, the Nigerian Police was one of the most upstanding institutions in Nigeria.

Your average Police officer on the beat carried only a baton and a whistle. This is not to say that the police back then were never issued guns but rather police men on beat duty were not carrying. Pistols were however reserved for senior police officers and there was a special strike force issued with appropriate weapons to counter armed robbers. The Special Branch E (E stands for Espionage) of the police was also effective, as this unit of the police were the ones who thwarted Awolowo's lame coup plot and also had gathered intelligence on the Jan 15 Coup. Their warnings to the Tafa Belewa govt were ignored.

When the Military struck in both Jan 15 of 1966 and July of same year, the Police were relgated and civil policing was being mismanged by the poorly trained semi-illiterates of the Nigerian army. Road blocks were first mounted as a permanent fixture on our roads by the orchestratators of the counter coup of 1967 and this was exclusively manned by same military personnel.

The civil war will see to the militarization of the Police from a civil organization to a paramilitary force and so the name of the organization was changed to reflect this - Nigerian Police Force!

The Nigerian Police were then assigned the task of internal security by the Nigerian Military govt and as such were issued with automatic rifles.

After the war, the Nigeria was both awash with weapons and civil war veterans. The Nigerian govt under Gowon had refused to demobolize the army, which stood at about 250,000 men and women, to back to pre-war numbers of slightly above 10,000. This came with serious economic and financial implications as Nigeria struggled to maintain a bogus and highly undisciplined armed forces. The army as at 1970, accounted for 40% of the Nation's budget as against less than 5% prior to the war, and most of that money was going towards paying salaries.

The doubled edged sword of an oil windfall coupled with war commitments to creditors in Europe that financed the war, saw inflation rates soar in the 70's. And with no increment in the pay of both the Police and Army, both of these organizations began to see high cases of indiscipline and criminality as a resort to compliment their earnings.

The period 1970 - 1974 witnessed an upsurge in armed robbery as never seen before.

The factors were glaringly obvious - a nation awash with assault weapons and un-rehabilitated war veterans!

So it wasn't any surprise that the Gowon military Junta will refuse to re-invent the police back to their traditional roles but rather the police were equipped with more SMGs and assault rifles.

Celebrities / Re: Ruggedman: How To Identify Real SARS Operatives (Photos) by JUSTICETHEO: 10:53am On Jul 18, 2018
So, you are going to argue with 4-6 heavily armed men wielding AK-47s because you didn't see a red scorpion on their hat or jackets?

This is by far the most stupid thing I have ever heard from any of these yeyebrities.

The point of having Police uniforms is to know that you are dealing with a Police officer.

SARS operatives are the number one armed robbery, kidnapping and extortion racketeering criminals in Nigeria because they can easily switch to being either Police or armed robbers. They have no visible means of identification such as name tags or a police serial number and they are allowed to roam around a state as they are independent of the State Divisional police jurisdictions.

Get them to wear proper uniforms as intended.

After all, General Paton once remarked; "They don't dress or act like soldiers so how do you want them to fight like one".

SARS are criminals!

The facts are there for any one to see.

As at 2014, Fayemi left a total debt of 85bn for Ekiti to settle.

Let me dig the 2014 DMO report FAACsummary which saw Ekiti allocations reduced by 40% to service loans.

I then posted not only an article but also a video that showed Fayemi signing Ekiti into bond slavery for 25bn and this was in 2012!

This is despite the huge amount of loans he collected with nothing to show for.

Now in typical BMC style you ae trying to change the argument that Fayemi only owed one month salaries.

Sometimes I wonder the amount of financial inducement that will make the owner of this forum hand over his site to BMC.

Sir, it will be better to stick to the truth and not pass lies around.

Fayemi did not leave a 70b loan and neither did he leave a backlog of 7 months.

Fayemi left a 20b billion load and was owing just 2 months (one month arrears and the other month because the month had not ended when he handed over)
https://www.theinfostride.com/2014/01/bond-issuance-ekiti-govt-completes-processes-for-tranche-ii/

Fayemi had exhausted all Bank avenues in borrowing had to resort to the stock market to issue 25billion naira bonds.

The total debt portfolio as at the time Fayose came on board was put at between 70-80bn and that did not include salaries of civil servants.

The estimated liquidation date for bank loans alone was 2035!

Fayemi indebted Ekiti for 25yrs just on bank loans as he took the majority of the loans in 2011-2012 when he just came on board and we all knew the loan was meant to settle Tinubu for bankrolling his gubernatorial ambition.

Same thing happened in Osun.

Or have you wondered why Buhari gave out two bailouts to Osun despite the fact that Osun's initial bailout in early 2016 at 40bn was 4 times more than the second largest state recipient (Kano) at 10bn?

Go figure!

Fayemi took out a 25bn bond with no trace as to what he used it for

Here is a video for you

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=SoSnJooJbCY
The Nigerian Stock Exchange approved the listing of Ekiti state 20 Billion Fixed Rate Infrastructural Development bond 2018 under the State N25billion Debt Issuance Programme on 13th March this year. The bond is for industrial and infrastructural development of Ekiti State.

THis happens to be just the second bond that Fayemi sought.

This is apart from numerous bank loans.

Fayemi owed workers well over 7-9mths salaries.

Buhari govt has since cancelled the issuance of permanent NIMC card.

The NIN card was to replace the PVC and other forms of identification and can serve as ATMs.

The reason the Buhari govt gave for the cancellation was the financial cost implication of printing and issuing the permanent cards.

This is bullsh!t.

The previous govt had a time table to roll out the cards for the 2019 elections. This is the reason the Buhari and the north killed the NIN card project.

With the NIN card, INEC PVCs will be discarded and Buhari will not be able to rig the elections.

NIN would have put an end to the censor debate as it would have shown the north to be the actual minority.

This is just one of several good policies that Buhari has destroyed or discarded because it will not favour northern political dominance.

Ututu oma nwanne mmadu. Ya ga ziere gioo

Ekiti State House of Assembly set up a panel to investigate the financial dealings of Fayemi's govt and duly invited him to which he (Fayemi) never bothered to honour the invitation.

The panel's report was published and a communique issued banning Fayemi from holding public positions. The panel also submiited to the EFCC a conclusion of their findings which the latter never bothered to gloss over.

This is exactly what Wike did in Rivers which the same EFCC ignored.

Fayemi bought a bed in govt house for 50million naira and his excuse was that it was befitting for a governor.

How will you know this when you are so blinded by hate for Fayose.

They now have the information branch they use to prosecute this war..That is why you have a swam of senseless idiot that will always drool saliva all over this forum to defend a glaringly useless course!!

Buhari knew exactly what he was doing with the economy that will favor the north only!

Have you forgotten his directive to the World Bank to concentrate their intervention programs in the north?

Consider also the welfare program being rolled out by this satanic govt which is primarily only concentrated in the north. This is not limited to 5k allowance for the poor, school feeding but also N-Power recipients, employment opportunities into the civil service and paramilitary but also even in tax revenue collection where northerners are not taxed a dime.

Go to Katsina and Sokoto and see how cars from Cotonou without custom clearance are being sold openly. You can drive from Duara to Abuja and not see one single customs or road safety official but is that the case in the south?

Even electricity cost which you pay through your nose in any city in the south is very cheap or free in most northern cities and towns.

Buhari's last front is to totally destroy whatever economic gain or advantage the south has over the north. This will be easier achieved in the SW because their current leaders are ready to sell their people for power.

His plan was to destroy southern hegenomy of the economy from there he will redistribute control to the north.

See this thread... https://www.nairaland.com/2893257/dont-fooled-buharis-economic-misadventure

The obscure Forex policy which has over a dozen official rates was to impoverish southern business and hand wealth on a platter of gold to the north.

They have the Military, the civil service and are about to control the Judiciary. The only thing they didn't know how to get was the economy but Buhari knew that it will be easier to destroy southern economic base by first imploding the economy and then introducing obscure and opaque govt subsidies.

Fayemi drained Ekiti dry with bad loans that he can't even account for.

Fayose inherited a debt of well over 70bn naira from Fayemi and that is only bank loans. Fayemi left a backlog of well over 8mths unpaid salaries which Fayose had to clear.

Or did Fayemi not owe works months on end salaries?

One re-occuring decimal about APC stooge puppets in the south and middle-belt is how they are ever ready to sacrifice their people for political relevance and acceptance to Sokoto.

Roachas is already working on a ranch/colony bill in Imo which will see Imo land being partitioned to make way for Fulani settlers.

Fayemi had indicated during the primaries that he will definitely roll out a colony for his fulani masters.

Aregbesola through the Amir Akanbi of Iwo has declared his interest for cattle colonies in Osun

Bello (the Ebira slave) has already set aside 15,000 hectares of Kogi land for Fulani settlements

Next to follow are closet APC stooges like Ayade of Cross-river and Umahi of Ebonyi. While Umahi is openly denying such move, he is secretly working towards it in the background. The Obudu man in Calabar has already concluded survey work for a Fulani settlement in both central and northern Cross-River.

Obaseki of Edo is doing same in Edo while Ajimobi and Amosun of Oyo and Ogun have already given their consent to Buhari to settle Fulanis anywhere he deems fit in their respective states.

Akerelodu of Ondo is pushing the Hegelian Dialectic argument of setting up Fulani colonies in his state as a precursor in stemming the criminality and terrorism committed by Fulanis on hapless Ondo citizens.

These fools are not interested in safe guarding or protecting their state from Fulani invasion and occupation but rather their relationship with Buhari.

Have you ever wondered why no single core Northern governor has deemed it fit to either revive the grazing routes or setup cattle colonies in the north? IN-B4 Kano govt has offered a large swath of land for ranching. Has the same Kano govt made any concerted efforts in seeing that Fulanis settle in it's proposed cattle colony? The answer is NO of course! But here you have the worst of the worst trying to sell not only their ancestral land and peoples but their heritage for sake of political relevance and acceptance.

Reminds me of how the north patted Amaechi in the back for shutting down the maritime university in Delta and how they then described him as their friend.

The only way the parasitic northern leaches will ever accept any of you clowns is when you betray your own self.
