N27M is an insufficient fund for a 4yrs program, that alone does not cover for the tuition fee let alone the living expenses and there are conditions for sponsorship even if the sponsor is the biological parents. This is where a lot of people get it wrong they think a sponsor acct of N50M will do fine, but there is a condition applicable for that sponsor. Did an application for a client the sponsor had N86M, but we still had to explain the sponsor responsibility to the applicant, he was granted

Submitted CAC, pictures , receipts and source of funds for future payments. Also a couple landed assets. Sponsorship letters, affidavits and LOE to explain lump sum on Sponsor’s account which happened months ago. Opening bal N2m plus, Account turnover over N90m, 5months MBS . Most of the N27m happened less than a month before submission( this is guess of the problem).

In the study permit form i.e imm1294e there is a session that require you to declare if you have been refuse visa from any country pls kindly indicate yes, it will request more information, you state the reason, application number and uci number (if applicable). It doesn't mean your visa will be refused the second time if you handled the application properly. Note that USA, Canada, Australia and the UK are somehow linked a visa refusal from any of this country will be detected.

I was informed by IRCC on the 30th of june
My problem now is that my passport would expire in 5months time and I've already applied to renew it which i was told it would be out by next week and IRCC has given me 30days to submit my passport which the deadline should be 30th of this month.

The bigger problem is I'm not sure that passport will really be out by next week like they said because this is Nigeria so in the worst case scenario it's not out yet is it advisable that i use my old passport with 5months to expire then when the new one comes out i could merge them both together.

Now that we intend to reapply, we intend to top up the amount/funds in my wife's account as the applicant, for her to be "Self sponsored" and I won't have to present my own bank statement. I intend to do this by gifting her 1 plot of land which she'll sell to make up the funds.

My question for the gurus will be that, will there be any issue with the above approach or what will you suggest should be the best approach for us to get it right this time without raising any further concerns with the VO.

Don't tell your agent to send you the LOA because you won't know if it is fake or real, simply request for the details of your school portal and download your LOA yourself then use webform or whatever means IRCC request for you to respond to send them the LOA. My thoughts tho
