pokipoki: Dude, don't provide excuse for them by blaming the government. There are other ventures such as farming and food processing which can give them legitimate wealth. Rather, they choose to exploit the "weak" so as to make fast forex to buy cars that people will envy them. It's a pity that the crime does not warrant death sentence!!! You're talking about farming My 30 year old Neighbour's 2 acres of farm just got destroyed by fulani heardsmen (all yams and cassava destroyed). He was fortunate to escape alive. He has sworn never to go back to farm. This is a university graduate that's farming for a living because he couldn't secure a job. Serious famine is coming to Nigeria if we continue like this... The government's share of the blame is the biggest. Do you know that SARS have started arresting people that have fiverr aps on their phone and demanding for up to N50,000? What for? fiverr is just a freelancing website where you work for every penny you earn. How is fiverr=yahoo; some SARS officials are worst than those guys |

Maroghene: How much do u know about shirt sponsorship deals cos ur comment made u look ignorant and for ur info, OWU is the only local sports shirt manufacturing firm. I may not know much about sponsorship deals but I'm an Economist and I know about payment deficits. Your comment made you look ignorant of deficit financing; one of the reasons why dollar is gaining more value against the naira. We rely too much on foreign items. Even jobs that should be taken by Nigerians goes to foreign expatriates. I pity the Economy of Nigeria now and in the coming years. |

JustCalMeDBoss: you are opportuned then. How do you mean opportunities? I also do my fiverr from Nigeria and feed my family on it;a wife and two kids. Nothing like opportunity, once you hear and take action. laziness and impatient is what is discouraging Nigerians on fiverr. When you start you have to be patient while building reputation. I'm not opportuned at all. I graduated from the university in 2007 (11 years ago). I started by teaching in a primary school, to teaching in secondary school (where I saved to buy laptop and modem), then I lectured as part time lecturer in a university before Oga Buhari came to power and laid us off. I was always visiting nairaland business section to read anything "online business". I invested almost all my salaries on internet data without returns. Then I used to buy 100Megabites for N1,000. Bro, when I started fiverr, I made my first $5 and was jumping up as if I won a lottery. Today I don't accept $5 job any more. I did all the set up by my self; reading helpful articles all over Google and all over nairaland business section. As long as you're aware that there is a money making platform called fiverr, you have the opportunity to make money. |
