Guys please help me, I'm planning to apply for a second degree in uni Manitoba but I have a third class degree and I'm skeptical about it because my GPA doesn't meet the requirements for the course on the school website they all have 2.0

I just want to know if anyone here has applied for second degree into uni Manitoba and was granted admission

Hello Fam! Pls need quick advice. I have a friend whose family is into this carer business In the UK. I have seen a couple of the family members travel through this route.

Long story cut short, I enquired how it's done and was referred to the company's representative here in Nigeria. We spoke and he told me it would cost about 4m, exams and all inclusive.

So please guys what do you think? Should I jump on this?

Please I sent you a mail please respond thank you

Good evening all, please a friend wants to travel to the UK for work but need a company that can send sponsorship letter, we don't need them to sponsor the travelling or anything we just need them to help with the sponsorship letter so as to to use for the travelling and work in that company upon arrival

We are all in the same category nobody wants their traveling sponsorship but just the COS
Few people have been able to get it though
If you can keep applying and keep trying who knows, you might be able to get it , best advice go through schooling if you have the money

Most of this care homes actually need workers and they're really short staffed but they don't want to offer sponsorship anymore that's the problem, I wish the UK government can allow one to sponsor themselves with a subsidized fee . It's draining waking up to "unfortunately" messages every single day

God will help all of us

Like I said earlier if you can go through schooling please link up with legit agents who will link you up with low tution fee and you will be able to work and pay the tuition after you must have paid the initial payment upfront

Send mail directly to the company official email. What I mean is attach your resume and paste your well written cover letter as the body of your email. I was able to land 2 interviews using this format. I use the tier 2 link and searched care homes, go to their website and copy their email address. Some have vacancies, I also apply and still send mail to them
Meanwhile I will say that I’m a customer to almost all the known job site. I put I. More than 10 applications per day and funny enough when I wake up I will get like 4 or 5 we are sorry but I was determined.
Don’t give up. Good luck

I have been doing this for weeks and still haven't gotten any positive response, some don't even bother to respond at all and most will say they don't offer sponsorship....I guess there's something going on that I'm not getting right.... can you please send me a mail on famoduebunoluwa@gmail.com

Thank you I await your response

Dears,
Can anyone advise if getting a Band 4 certificate have more advantage than Band 3 certificate in search of job with sponsorship.
Someone close to me is presently doing a Band 3 certificate course and was told if they needed to be issued a band 4 certificate since the curriculum is the same the person should just take one more course at additional fees to get the Band 4 certificate instead of the band 3 certificate..

cc Uzland

You can't have band 4 except you're inducted and you have done some physical practicals
If you buy the course you won't be able to fulfill everything necessary to have the certificate
As long as you're outside UK the maximum you can have is band 3

I also wanted to but got stuck because I needed to perform physical practicals which is not possible because I'm not in the country

I even mailed them they didn't respond to me

Don't waste your money just do band 3 and keep applying

Visa Alert (Skilled Worker)

Visa Application - 15th February
Biometric- 18th February
Application sent to DMC - 18th February
Application sent to VAC - 3rd March
Visa Collected - 4th March.

I know most people here are on the Health abs Care worker path so I’m writing this to also assist those on the skilled worker Tier 2 path.

Step 1: Finding and Getting a Job
First thing (and most important is looking for a job that matches your work experience. I work in the finance sector so I applied to just about every consulting/ Big 4/ Finance company that had openings that matched my skill level. It’s important that when you read the JB, your CV can back it up. Most companies do key word searches to sort through all the CV’s they receive. So if you are an engineer go through the career page for Shell, Rolls Royce, if you are in IT…the world is your oyster. I sent out about 36 applications. Multiple within the same organization.
From there it moved to the interview stage. Practice as much as you can. Not just to know what to say but to feel comfortable enough to let the conversation flow. Also if you are sent the name of the interviewer ahead of time…do a little stalking. LinkedIn even Instagram. You might just find something you have in common.
I had 2 interviews (a month apart) before I received my offer about a month after the 2nd interview.

Step 2: COS
After I accepted my offer, my company had to perform a background check. This took about a month to complete (mainly because of the Christmas break). After that they moved on to the COS. My job needed a copy of my TB certificate to begin and that took a while but once I sent it in it took less than 2 weeks for my COS to be issued to me. I didn’t need to make any payment for this.

Step 3: Visa application.
There are enough posts that detail the requirements but I’ll just like your the documents I submitted.
Completed visa application, copy of COS, copy of University degree (schooled abroad), copy of passport data page and all previous UK visas and immigration stamps for the past 10 years, job offer letter) (I didn’t to show proof of funds)

I hope this was helpful to someone.

Can I see your CV please, I need to use it to correct mine...here is my email attached in case you don't want to post it publicly
