Thermal Printers do NOT use inks/tonners but print by heating its coated thermal paper. Hence, it is economical and print-out cannot be erased by water.

Thermal Printers are faster than ordinary printers and economize space. Print-out may be generated in duplicate. Duplicate copy carrying the payee’s signature may be filed.

Our software handles School Fees Billing System taking into account all complexities in the recurrence of payment items per term, varying cost of items per class, optional items, overpayment/credit balances, discounts, outstanding balances carried over each term or session, next term bills generation and etcetera.

Reports generated include daily report of total/installment payment by each student per class, all debtors and all non-debtors per class, all income per payment item and next term school fees bills, printed via ordinary printers or exported to Microsoft Excel.

Our software is capable of sending students’ balance notification and bills notification to parents’ mobile phones via Short Messaging Service (SMS).

Additional Modules include Student’s Records Management, Staff Records Management, Payroll System Management and Expenditure Manager.

For now, I will recommend Intersat. You can get bandwidth for as low as 200 dollars. The only set-back with them is that bandwidth subscription is quarterly. According to FOB, Falling sales, slow economy and strong competition from 3G and other wireless providers is the reason for such decision

FOB Sky has not proven to be a responsible service provider, though their service was okay, they refused to inform their customers ahead of their failure. I don't recommend FOB to anyone anymore. All your equipments are still applicable, your LNB and BuC are still okay, only the modem needs to be changed to an evolution X3 modem. All providers are planning to suspend services or stop the activation of new sites on IDirect 3000 series. FOB has just belled the cat. The new IDirect evolution modem was designed for USA during the Afghanistan war. It compresses your data and transfer it at faster rate. IDirect, after the war decided to market it to the rest of the world. But they need the support of Vsat internet service providers. Migrate to the leading evolution series and enjoy cheaper bandwith with faster and reliable throughput and speed.

1. The application is an Administrative Back-end Solutions that runs on a LAN infrastructure.
2. Yes I am the Chief programmer and Project Manager of the application development.
3. The program was developed purely in Visual Basic Dot Net and has its database hosted on a MySQL Server for easy integration with PHP front end applications that would be hosted on the web to harness the information on the local database and for data acquisition. It is of no use to place core administrative functions on the web. But applicable information can be made available on the web for maximum security to be achieved.
