why r u surprise? Forget all d past glories about d old universities u people are always dying for. Distance learning is d future of tertiary education . most of d best universities in d world are already going towards dat direction. May be u r not aware NOUN does not only run MSC programs they also run it up to d PHD level. Being open or distance learning does not make it cheap, in fact u have to do more. NOUN has only been able to produce just 2 first class since it inception about 15 years ago with over 120,000 students nation wide So stop seeing it a second class institution.

I've just been admitted into NOUN to run MSc Programme in Business Administration to start by June/July 2016. It's quite unfortunate that many Africans still buy into that idea of "blood money". It's very implausible. It is a myth and so shall it remain. Blood money is not real and never will.
When money comes, it comes and when it doesn't, don't think you're cursed.

Like energy which is conserved I assert that man's activities and befallings are also conserved. Eg. While one side of the world is at peace, the other is at war. When one family witnesses a death, the other witnesses a birth.

Don't chain quick fortune to tales and misfortune to anything unlikely.

It is here in Nigeria I heard that they use people to make money and our Nollywood would describe all other nonsense. You can't convert death to money or blood to money. The only way that's possible but not literal is killing or shedding blood for gains. I can create a virus and it's cure. With the cure,my money is assured for me provided I play my games well. (Just an instance) .

Until science fully invade all those territories, you will still believe blood money rituals exist. Ignorance they say is a disease.

1.Nigeria needs this loan. Yes...I know....Nigeria needs this loan.

2.Oil prices right now are ranging between $35-40 per barrel. For us not to be in a loan taking position....it has to be in $123 per barrel. Now...Buhari is being realistic here. Nigeria is oil dependent, and short of a miracle happening....we have to take loans.

3.Yes...I know...billions of dollars are being ''recovered''.But that is press lingo for ''investigations are ongoing''. EFCC has to investigate thoroughly to sift the loot from legitimately earned money...so that it does not end up with egg all over its face due to ....You seized someone's legally earned cash!

4.Reno's old boss also took loans when he was in charge....so what''s the problem? Unless Reno is telling us now that someone we know was a bad leader (Oh dear!).

5.Let's face it....when you are resource dependent....you have to take loans when prices go down.Even if we go to agric...it would be the same old story. Price drop= reduced revenues. (And agric is even more prone to price drops). That is why we have to become a manufacturing economy.

6.And who told you it was just for the loan? Investments might come about too! Hence the large entourage.
