I made it to level 2 seller on a brand new fiverr account (nigerian profile) without buying fake reviews, a higher percentage of the order are from buyers' requests and later on a high percentage of my buyer turned to repeat customers because of so many things i implemented.

From level 0 to becoming level 2, everything takes 68 days with staight 5.0 reviews

The journey of becoming a top rated fiverr seller has just begun, maybe i would be the first nigerian to become a top rated seller on fiverr.

It is not skills as much as my customer relations that got me where I am.

First, I don't do article writing. I labored (thought about it a great deal and could not get myself to ply my trade in that niche, because just about anyone can write an article, but specialized writing exists, which takes a great deal to write, so I went for the later) over doing $5 jobs and after introspection, I rejected them and focused on more difficult writing stuff. Stuff that not just anyone can do, but someone who can read, stick to a chair for hours on end reading tens of pages sometimes hundreds of pages, take copious notes, before summarizing the content for the user who who does not have the time to do that in original prose!

The other thing is Fiverr is too full of people who want to pay rock-bottom prices while looking for quality services, when I discovered that certain gigs suffered from that, I deactivated them temporarily and later deleted them. There are a few people on Fiverr who are willing to pay a decent wage for excellent labor, I roll with those kinds of clients.

I agree with your position on the $50 floor, but it holds in my case because I do not do article writing. I have charged as much as $30/page in one instance for a writing gig (not article writing), I have even succeeded in getting a client to pre-pay, as in pay me, and mark the job as complete so Fiverr can process payments ahead of starting. Why would a client do that? Because he knows the quality I bring and because of superb customer service (read that to mean 1. I don't get annoyed quickly and 2. I will go to the ends of the end to woo you to become my customer and 3. I will go to the ends of the earth to make you feel like a King or Queen till your dollars leave your pocket and end up in mine and I will keep checking on you from time to time thereafter)!

I have not gotten sales in a few days, but I have clients who have committed to deals, but those deals will only be activated after I have turned in those in the pipeline.

In response to a post by the guy P.hony, I once said, have a plan B, take money made from Fiverr and invest in other businesses. Don't be like Nigeria that paid too much attention to consumption and not to infrastructure and savings and is reaping the fruits in the time of low oil price.

My position still stands, any funds made from Fiverr are not for consumption, but for investment in other money making schemes over which I have a greater degree of control!

Egbon can you kindly screenshot your average selling price? Let's see if your method is working after all

Why buy fake reviews in order to make money?

If you have belief in yourself that you would make it without buying fake reviews, you would surely make it.

Try and implement the tips mentioned in this thread and you won't need to spend money buying reviews.

I did apply everything here and i'm a 5 star rated seller on fiverr.

Just my advice though.

This niggaa is a learner. Reviews dey help. Your way no b everybody way. I don't know what belief has to do with anything here. You will just come here and try to start knocking people's hustle. Some people here refresh buyers request every minute, exhaust their 10 offers as early as they can. Yet, no buyer go contact them and no sales for days. They tweak their gig title, description, image and even lower their prices. They ask good people of this thread (like Djlaua and Ojasweb) to review their pages for them. Still no sales. What do you want them to do? Believe?! You must be joking fam! I was there last year. I became a level 1. Sales dropped drastically. I bought reviews everyday for 5 days while tweeting my gig link on twitter. Of course, my gig gbera in no time. So don't come here and start telling people not to buy review. If people don't buy reviews from each other, how do you want people who have problems withdrawing their funds to cope? Those ones that are forced to sell reviews. Have you even thought about them? Abi, has anyone come here before to complain that Fiverr warned them because they bought/sold fake reviews. You and hiremyminivan should just keep your opinions to yoursef and stop knocking other people's hustle.

I met a young boy on fb claiming he is an ophan and needed help from me to pay his school fees in Naija. The boy blocked me after sending him 80k. Na den I know say na scam.
I was lucky he blocked me because because if he had asked more money from me I would have continued helping him.

I started my Fiverr journey in November, 2016. I remember when i first made acquaintance with Emmyk. He assured me there was nothing to be scared about. I wanted to go into Email Marketing but i love editing and editing would require i get a laptop. I saved, starved, borrowed and got my dell inspiron brand new for #135,000.
Its was so difficult for me that i had to recall my surviving days in school to keep up until i stabilize.

Emmyk thought me basically everything i know about Audio Editing. My job takes over 8hrs of my day and having to cope up with both (Freelancing and Production Supervisor) is God's doing.

Sales was slow. For nearly 3 weeks no one contacted me let alone giving me a job. I frequent Buyer Request page, kept applying until i got my first job.

To cut the story short, there has been ups and downs. I made level 1 in Jan, and less than 24hrs ago, i made Level 2 with a whooping 5***** rating. Its all God, hardwork and persistence.

You maybe discouraged to quit because you feel its a waste of time frequenting BR for weeks yet no contact let alone job. Please don't. Have your profile reviewed, ask for help, there are a lot lf awesome freelancers here who are willing to assist. Someday, you will share a better success story.

I want to also than the likes of Emmyk, Beatzone, Venzal, Tabbaz, Skikid, degree, hazzanTazzan, Kababs, and every other person who has contributed in one way or another. God bless you all. Really grateful.
