@funmykemmy,there is no specific amt to start this biz or any other biz,it all depends on what you have or what you can take advantage of.For example the amt of money need to start a biz in your father's compound is low compared to when you rent an accomodation somewhere else.So in other words any of the factors of production available to you is an advantage.Having said that with good financial skill       3.5m can see you through.But if you really want to start,you can anywhere.

Yes am already into it for about six years now.We have  one ford(the very first) and two mitsubishi canter.
Their capacity :ford- 240 bags
mitsubishi canter:600 bags max each. Meanwhile we have scrabed three ford buses.All move out every morning,depending on the market,they can go 1,2,3 times each

i appreciate ur views;angol_g,daveadz,yakutsk .Let me tell you guys something, sometime ago when tsunami struck among the relif item brought were pure water from advanced country.Having said that, in nigeria today,what is the problem PURE WATER SACHET or EFFECTIVE WASTE MANAGEMENT.
