I do not argue but when I see posts like the ones you have been posting, I feel the need to correct your assertions.

The north ruled the country for almost 38years and they took all the dams to the north and neglected the coal and flared the gas in the south. If you are a good student of engineering, you will understand that these days hydro-power is becoming an 'alternative source of power' in dry regions because of low water level experienced by those regions. If the government have invested 30years ago in gas and coal power generation, then our power situation will have reduced by 3-quarter. Now, they are still building more dams in the north when there is a rising trend of desertification in that region. Not smart bro.

Someone asked that what is the consequences of bokoharam on the south. I think it is not for you to just come online and ask questions before evaluating your questions. In syria today, some parts are peaceful and not really attacked by isis basically due to the high military security of that region. If you as an investor is asked to invest in syria, what will you think about the offer? You will vehemently refuse because the country has been on the headlines for terror attacks and you will not dare to go visit talk-less of investing. That is the same effect bokoharam has on our investors' attracting capacity. Or have you not seen major companies leaving Kano?

Moreso, about the bokoharam, your representatives from the north have asked all Nigerians to pay 3% VAT to bokoharam affected areas when it is glaring that it is your own people that destroyed your lands and not an igbo man from nnewi. Why should i pay additional vat when you did not pay additional vat for destroying my land?

The north provides food that the south buys, but the southern lands are been desecrated everyday to share money to the northern leaders. You cannot build a company in the north without having a northerner in the company. A northerner heads the warri, portharcourt and kaduna refineries while the people in the state have been sending applications without any good news. You guys do not affect the south indeed.

I do not blame the northerners though, they have the power and they are using it well. I blame the southerners who do not understand the rudiments of leadership and have spent their whole lives impoverishing their brothers to have fake relevance in the country.

can you show me one industry by the Abacha family that employs northerners in numbers so that they can be able to bail them out of poverty. Remember the multiplier effect of having industries to the populace

Why does the north invest more in building mosques than building industries and schools

The power plants in the north can't handle Abuja, Jos and Kaduna alone if the south is cut off. If you follow my other posts here you will gain some insight. It may interest u to kno dat Lagos, Delta, and Rivers dropped ideas of independent power plants IPPs in the past cos what they generated ends up in other region(the north).
