Your argument trying to weaken the correlation between Islamic laws and religious violence is shaky. Just because Sharia law isn't de facto in some states doesn't mean that extremists in those states don't fully abide by Sharia law. Following Sharia law is exactly what any extremists will do simply because all religious extremists are literalists - they mostly follow some holy book to the letter!

Also, it's non of my business if alcohol is sold in the mosque. The point is, in a secular society, all religion should be kept within their respective place of worship and their beliefs should have no impact on laws governing the society. This necessarily means that, in a sane secular society, everyone is treated EQUALLY by the SAME set of laws.


Finally, you need to know this: adopting Sharia in a secular country isn't "practicing your religion".

U seem to be mixing sharia legal system with blasphemy-induced violence, hmm. U sound very confused. How many northern states adopt the legal system as compared to the number of states in which blasphemy-induced violence has occurred? It can be very cute when u try to talk about what you know nothing about. Yes, I said give me a single example of a case in which a non-muslim was tried in a sharia court, and expectedly, rather than doing just that, u keep cutting and joining as per carpenter, lol.
Also, Islam is a total way of life for the muslims unlike in christianity where ur religion is only in ur churches, so u don't have any power to decide how the muslims should practise their religion.

Finally, in spite of all these inconveniences, why is it that most southern christian corpers who serve in the north try to stay back while same cannot be said of their northern muslim counterparts who serve in the south?

Hehehe, I can see that the adoption of Sharia system by some northern states is giving u hbp. As expected, rather than giving examples, u beat around, not surprised. On blasphemy-induced violence, I can also see that in the absence of examples, u want to digress from the argument hahahahahahahahaha. Sharia is an Islamic legal system and its adoption has no correlation with blasphemy/violence as same act of violence can also be triggered in any other state where sharia is not practised. On the issue of freedom to live without any hindrance, I think u should have suggested that alcoholics should be free to buy and consume their drinks inside mosques since freedom is the goal even if the costums and traditions of the majority are blatantly violated. But despite all these complaints, I still noticed that some corpers who were posted to the north make efforts to stay back due "unfavourable" conditions, while most northerners prefer to find their ways back home due to "favourable" conditions. Very logical, isn't it?
