Following the recent mandate to the Igbos to flee the northern side of the country, the IPOB (Indigenous People of Biafran) leader speaks on this issue. He spoke concerning the investments of the Igbos in the whole northern states which were approximate #44trillion naira.

It is basically a surface phenomenon in Nigeria that students are more concentrated with their time on social media than with reasonable apps that could help boost academics.

Unlike the white students, Nigerian students do not fancy dictionary, word predictor, and Grammarly apps as do the white men. We these days massively see people only running to the Whatsapp messenger leaving behind the BlackBerry Messenger which was once the best chat platform in the universe. The BBM blackberry messenger was introduced when the blackberry smartphone came into existence and it was considered the best chatting and instant messaging platform in the world notwithstanding that Facebook laid beside it. It was indeed a very outstanding Instant messaging application which offers BBM calls, BBM video calls and many more features which took it to a higher level than other instant messaging platforms like the wechat, Facebook and much more. Yes it is true. Following the latest news in the rise of transport fare from distant places to school in federal polytechnic Oko students living far from school have reported in tracking to and back from school notwithstanding the distance from their homes even under the scorching sun during the day. This trend has made students be under many trauma as they usually leave home as early as 6:30 am in the morning and they may be exposed to theft as a case reported on Thursday 18th may 2017 along triple tree road at around 6:00 am in the morning.

As it was with the situation as about last month is April 2017, the transport fare from any distance to the school in such vicinity is #30 naira but currently, a drop is #40. From triple tree junction to twin tower hotel is #40 naira, (students of Federal Polytechnic Oko will know what am speaking of) even a distance shorter than that is the same price.

Those whose campus is located at ufuma are much more affected by this rise in transport as they now go to Ufuma and back with #200.

We the entire students of the great institution with one mind and mouth speak that we have no DOT (director of transport) or if we did he is just after his own pocket.

We are students for christ’s sake we don’t work to earn…

From the statistics conducted to ascertain the best and worst guest houses and totels in Anambra state it was seen that the best hotels in the vicinity rested in the area of Ifitedunu although contested by the White castle hotels Neni Anaocha LGA Anambra state.

On the contrary, we focused our view on the worst and the most disgusting of the guest houses we went to. It was not only that the structure wasn’t anything to write home about but we really got astounded as we approached the inner CACCUS of the guest house but to our utter dismay it looked much like a dogs house or much precisely a hideout for hoodlums.

If it was only the inner structure that was our problem we could be very obliged that we at least had our eyes satisfied. As the saying goes “the eye eats before the mouth” if the outer structure had been fine we could consider the inner structure but the outer structure tells more about the inside.

As we couldn’t be left to take shots of the inner structure, we were obliged to take the shot of its outer structure and painting to the credit of our tour.

Examination they say is a platform to enable students to express what they have read at a maximum time and also give themselves what they really deserved via their performance. Examination performance is based on the length of time given to students to write their exams and fully express themselves. Before you could pass very well in an exam, you have to read very very extensively but more considerably passing of exams is basically more decided by the length of time given to the students to fully write their exams.
In many schools as evaluated, MOUAU (Micheal Okpara University Of Agriculture) to be very specific students are always allowed much time to write their exams considering their pattern of exams are theory and the students are given up to 2hrs 30mins to fully write their exams and obtain their real scores. If a student happens to fail in such institution, they shall never have any reason to blame the management of the school but themselves due to the standards and the level set by the school.

Contrary to this motion, the Great institution by name Federal Polytechnic Oko has done a great job in helping the students indirectly fail their exams by the use of the CBT system that was newly introduced into the school system. The introduction of the CBT system of the exam that was in reign now is the worst thing that has happened to the students of Federal Polytechnic Oko considering they once saw it before as an avenue for passing their exams easily and still remained illiterates.
This new trend in the school has escalated to the level that the students are now seeing the negative effects of the CBT exams where you’re given 30mins to write 70 or 60 question as if anyone was a computer. Even the most intelligent person in the world wouldn’t answer 70 objective questions under 30mins. The worst part of the negative effect is that they now stand students up and walk them out of the exam halls even on the starting of the exams. The school and exam management board never cared for the student's welfare but all they cared about is their own interest.

A student came out of the exam hall yesterday in rage and was lamenting his ordeal inside the exam hall, he said:

I was serious writing on my own and before I knew what was happening I was still on number 30 question and my time is only remaining 15 minutes and I still have 40 questions unanswered. I tried as fast as I could and only rounded up only 48 questions and came out as my time elapsed.
Students who are intelligent on normal circumstance now go down the drain in their academics and eventually fail their exams not because they did not read their books but because they were not allowed maximum time to express themselves in the exam hall.

The question there now is it that the school wish for the failure of the students or are they just trying to make their own ends meet? that is what the students never understood.

Quote me here: “Though it is a CBT exam and filled with objectives options, believe me, it should require much time as the theory exams should because it needs more of literate thinking than that of theory exam”

I just stumbled upon this cute photo that a student of Federal Polytechnic Oko drew. The wonderful thing with the picture is that the person who drew it was never a fine and applied art student just a free drawer in another department alternatively.

The Miss Igala Nigeria was presented with what you could say is the worst gift ever you can give to a human being not to talk about a person who won the Miss title of a community or state. She, in other words, seemed happy accepting the gift as she is being taken a photo with the car she was presented with as her own.

It was reported on Sunday being 19th march 2017 that a group of confraternity members were apprehended on the ground of their initiation by the AVG (vigilante group) amaokpala orumba north LGA Anambra state.

Just yesterday 25th of February 2017 a fatal accident struck the vicinity of Amaokpala in Idemili North LGA Anambra state an extension for students of federal Polytechnic Oko opposite Elite 5star lodge. A shuttle bus driver was on his way to dispose of passengers down in Amaokpala starting from Ekwuluobia but was intercepted on its move by another vehicle though both on a very high velocity.

"The head-on collision occurred around 9:00 pm in the night. The colliding car had on it no headlamp which didn't allow the shuttle bus driver to see what's before him. Three of the shuttle passengers died on the spot and the others were hospitalised. It was reported today that the ones hospitalised that one of them gave up the ghost today. The shuttle driver was among those that died on the spot and all the occupants of the shuttle were the students of federal polytechnic Oko.

Just as things continue to go awry, i could affirm that the saying gfrom students that everything in Federal polytechnic Oko Anambra state is Possible is true. The Admin @ www.kabsedo.com have seen on several occassions and times that some things are just unbecoming about the institution that they even tend to male it look more like a secondary school with the kind of stuffs we see here which are more than less baffling to the students.

Students are asked to buy textbooks which people never countered the motion but the action of telling students to buy textbooks which are designated for secondary school students is the idea that myself could never buy in any means humanly possible.

It could be better defined as per say that the covers of the textbooks are removed and replaced with other covers which bwill bear the higher institution signal and it might have the same conten t as the secondary school text we might not quarrel that but this action seem to be very uncalled for and prohibitive to some reasonable masses.

More than one million people had signed a petition on Monday demanding Britain cancel plans for a state visit by US President Donald Trump following his ban on travellers from mainly Muslim countries.

With Prime Minister Theresa May under growing pressure over her ties to Trump, opposition MPs and members of her own Conservative party have also urged ministers to reconsider the visit later this year, which would see Trump honoured by parliament and Queen Elizabeth II.

But a Downing Street spokesperson said: "We've extended the invitation. It's been accepted."

May announced the state visit during talks with Trump at the White House on Friday, intended to reaffirm the "special relationship" and boost trade ties after Britain leaves the European Union.



But her closeness to the erratic billionaire drew fire at home, particularly when she initially failed to condemn his ban on refugees and citizens from seven mainly Muslim countries.

A petition calling for the state visit to be cancelled because his "well-documented misogyny and vulgarity disqualifies him" from meeting the queen passed one million signatures on Monday morning.

Set up several months ago, the number of signatories has surged since Trump signed his executive order on Friday - a move that triggered global protests, with more expected in Britain later on Monday.

"You are not welcome here, Mr President," headlined the Daily Mirror tabloid.

Opposition Labour leader Jeremy Corbyn, the smaller Liberal Democrats and the Scottish National Party have all called for the state visit to be cancelled, as have some Tories.

"We have to question whether ... this is something that Britain should be doing for a man who has no respect for women, disdain for minorities, little value for LGBT communities, no compassion for the vulnerable and whose policies are rooted in divisive rhetoric," Conservative Muslim peer Sayeeda Warsi told BBC radio.

Conservative MP Sarah Wollaston said Trump should not be invited to address lawmakers as Barack Obama did in parliament's Westminster Hall during his state visit in 2011.
