Present LORD.

31 March 2022

"How can I get away from Your Spirit?" Where can I go to get away from You? You are there if I ascend to the sky or if I make my bed in the depths. Even if I rise with the sunrise, if I settle on the other side of the sea, Your hand will guide me, and Your right hand will keep me safe." Psalm 139:7-10 (NIV)

One of God's titles is Jehovah-shammah, which means "the LORD is present." Geoffrey Bull (1921-1999), a Scottish Christian, knew God by this name. Bull was imprisoned by the Chinese Communists for three years. Bull writes in his book God Holds the Key, "

"I didn't have a Bible in my hand, a watch on my wrist, or a pencil or piece of paper in my pocket. There was no realistic chance of being released. There was no actual prospect of survival. There was no realistic chance of seeing those I cared about again. My Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, was the sole reality. He was to become everything to me, drained of everything. In the cramped chamber, he was supposed to shatter my bars and enlarge my coasts. In the midst of the scarcity of food, he was to be my only source of nourishment. 'My meat,' which my captors had no idea about. With His countenance, He would make me happy. He'd allow me to hear His voice. Herod may reign and imagine slaughter, just as He did in the days of His nativity. But let me see Christ's star and I will come and worship Him.

God is present... Wherever you are, Jehovah-shammah. God is present, whether you are suffering as a result of your rebellion or as a result of your obedience. You can't get away from God's presence, as the singer sings in Psalm 139. He's at the top of the world and at the bottom of the ocean. He exists in both the light and the dark. He is always by your side.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for being there for me at all times. Thank you also for the gift of life. Thank you for assisting me in understanding, believing, and living the truth that You are all I require. Thank you for each time I call upon you and for every answer given. I'm grateful for your love for me. Please do not turn away your face from me. Guide me through life's journey. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Only Hope

30th of March, 2022

"I, even I, am the LORD, and there is no savior other from Me." Isaiah 43:11 (NIV)

Life is difficult. This is a fact that cannot be avoided. We will face heartbreak, pain, calamity, death, sickness, and a plethora of other challenges for as long as we live on this planet. Many individuals utilize this truth to justify their rejection of God. "How could a loving God allow such suffering?" they reason. Most of us, if we're being honest, would admit to wondering the same thing. God makes a bold statement about Himself in Isaiah 43:11: "There is no savior other from Me." God is the only one who can save you. He is the Savior, not just "a savior."
Many Christians believe that God is our Savior from sin, but what about our Savior from life's difficulties? Do we see Him as our deliverer from adversity? Are you safe from death and illness? Are you safe from calamity and evil?

"Why does God allow horrible things to happen?" many will ponder rhetorically. However, in Isaiah 43:11, God reveals something significant about Himself. He wants us to understand that He is the only hope we have. He is the only one who has the ability to save. Would we really know Him as Savior on this side of paradise if we didn't have to go through hardship? God wants us to know Him as Savior right now. He doesn't want us to have to wait until we get to heaven.

He is our solace, joy, and hope. - because He is the only one who can save you. This does not imply that He will always rescue us from adversity, but it does imply that He will accompany us on our journey. Do you consider Him to be your Savior? Allow challenges, struggles, and difficulties to lead you to your knees at the feet of this magnificent Savior today.

Prayer
Heavenly Father I praise You. You are the only one who can save me. You rescue me from my misdeeds and the consequences of sin. Whatever happens, I have faith in You. Please remind me of this in difficult times. Assist me in sharing this reality with others who are in need. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Holiness

29th of March, 2022

"Be holy in whatever you do, just as He who called you is holy." 1 Peter 1:15(NIV)

What exactly does it imply to be holy? We all know God is holy, but what does that really mean? To be holy means to be fully apart from the rest of the world... to set oneself apart from the crowd Because of God's holiness, no one else compares to Him. To put it another way, He is in a league of His own. He is the one and only true God, entirely apart and distinct from all created things. In all we do, God's people are to be holy, according to Peter 1:15. This one brief verse goes a long way toward assisting us in understanding God's plan for us. Many of the challenges, questions, and dilemmas that believers experience will be eliminated if we simply heed this verse. God's children are supposed to be unique. He has welcomed us into His family, calling us out of the world.

There will be moments when we have difficulty making decisions, and we will wonder what God's will is in a given situation. Looking at the question through the prism of God's holiness is one way to discover the answer. Is there a reaction that clearly distinguishes us as Christ followers? If that is the case, we can be certain that this is God's will. Our reactions, attitudes, and behaviors should not be the same as everyone else's. We have been given God's authority to live a life that is pleasing to Him through His Spirit. This is simple...but not simple. It can be difficult to make a decision that reflects God's holiness. As a result, we must rely on God's might rather than our own. Not only does holiness show God's character, but it also necessitates God's presence. In Christianity, there is a widespread belief that holiness may be reduced to a set of commandments to follow. This could hardly be more untrue.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for choosing me to be Your special child. I understand that it is Your wish for me to be holy, just as You are holy. Please assist me to honor You in all I do and say today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Fruit that lasts

28th of March, 2022

"You did not choose Me, but I chose you and designated you to bear fruit — lasting fruit." The Father will then grant you anything you want in My name." John 15:16 (NIV)

In John 15, Jesus emphasizes the significance of remaining connected to Him through the Holy Spirit to His disciples. "You can do nothing without Me," Jesus assures them. Jesus uses the image of a vine (Jesus) and branches to emphasize His argument (disciples). We cannot do God's will without Christ, just as branches on a tree cannot grow fruit without being attached to the vine.

In John 15:16, Jesus begins to explain why He chose His followers. He is attempting to assist them in comprehending the meaning of their lives as His disciples. He recognizes that His time on earth is drawing to a close, and He has entrusted them with the task of ministering to the lost. He tells them, "Go and bear fruit." "fruit with a long shelf life."

What do you do with your time? Every existence bears fruit of some sort; the question is, what kind of fruit? Is it the world's fleeting fruit, which appears attractive on the exterior but is hollow on the inside? Is it the long-term fruit that comes from a life dedicated to Jesus? God's desire is for you to bear fruit that will last.

Prayer
[/b]Heavenly Father thank you for the gift of life and strength for a new day. I accept that I am incapable of carrying out God's will on my own. It has to be done through me. I want my life to have a long-term impact. Please enable me to become more reliant on You, to trust You, and to obey You every day. In Jesus' name I pray, Amen.

Transformation

27th of March, 2022

"Do not follow the world's pattern any longer, but be changed by the renewing of your mind." Then you'll be able to put God's will to the test and approve it as good, pleasant, and perfect." 2 Corinthians 12:2 (NLT)

When you crack open a nut's shell, the internal nut will always adhere to the shape of the shell. The nut on the inside is shaped into its image by the pressure of the shell on the exterior. Believers are commanded in Romans 12:2 not to let the world to mold us into its mold. We are to be transformed from the inside out instead. Every day, we are subjected to enormous pressures. Temptation is all around us. The world tempts us to live for ourselves rather than for Christ's sake. Sensuality, greed, idolatry, and complacency are all enticed by it. If we are not careful, our lives will begin to resemble those of others. Christians appear to be taking on the same appearance as non-Christians from the outside.

Is it possible for a caterpillar to transform into a butterfly? Is it possible for it to transform into one? Obviously not. It simply permits God to carry out His will. This is an important lesson for us to learn now. Transformation is something we can't achieve on our own. We must choose to be still in the midst of the world's pressures and allow God to work in us. We must allow Him to regenerate our brains with His Word on a daily basis. When we do this, God promises that we will be able to discern His good, acceptable, and perfect will. Do you want to be transformed or do you want to conform? Is that a nut or a butterfly? Allow God to transform you from the inside out today as you rest in His presence.

Prayer
Heavenly Father, In this world, there are numerous pressures. The pressure to conform can be overwhelming at times. However, I am confident that it is Your desire to convert me into the likeness of Jesus. Remind me that whatever obstacles I face today, I can rely on Your strength. I thank You because You are sufficient. All I require is you. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Understand The Word

March 26, 2022

"Then I heard the Lord's voice say, 'Whom shall I send?'" And who is going to fight for Us?' 'Here I am,' I said. 'Send it!' Isaiah 6:8 ( NIV)

First and foremost, understand that not everyone has been called to preach - to get up in front of large crowds and declare the Gospel. But each of us has been invited to proclaim—to take the initiative to start discussions about Jesus with others we meet. "I don't have any training in sharing my beliefs," many Christians claim. I'm not sure what I'll say." However, training in the Gospel is something that must be done on a regular basis. That is to say, there is no better method to get trained than to take a class.

A common flaw among Christians who attend church is their inability to define the benefits of being a Christ follower. Have you given it any thought? What motivates you to follow Jesus? What has changed in your life as a result of trusting in Him, and what has changed in your life as a result of trusting in Him? Take some time to consider it and write it down. Congratulations, you've just finished writing your "testimony"—the tale of how the Gospel has changed your life. It's easy to discover folks who are more enthusiastic about "essential oils" or their favorite football team than they are about the Person of Jesus Christ. Please don't let this happen to you!

Every Christ believer is responsible for evangelism. Consider what is preventing you from sharing your faith with those around you, and how you might go from hearing God's Word to responding to it like Isaiah did: "Here am I. "Send it to me!"

Prayer
Heavenly Father my prayer for today is that I will not stand by and do nothing while my friends and neighbors who do not know You continue to live without hearing the Gospel. Allow me opportunity to start dialogues, share my trust in You, and bring others to Jesus. Then grant me the confidence to take advantage of those chances. Amen, in Jesus' name.

The Gospel

24th of March, 2022

"In Christ, I declare the truth - I am not lying..." Romans 9:1 (NIV)

We are commanded to share the Gospel as disciples of Jesus. But what precisely is that? Is it a narrative, a route, or a set of instructions? What is this message that we are supposed to share with others - the life-changing Gospel that has had such an impact on our own lives? Simply expressed, the Gospel is the tale of how God, through His Son, Jesus, redeems sinful and disobedient people and restores their relationship with Him. The word Gospel is frequently capitalized because it implies that there is only one Gospel, and hence only one way to know God and spend eternity with God. There are only four things to consider. Everyone dies. According to the Bible, disobedience to God is sin, and sin carries a penalty. The punishment is death. Spiritual death, not merely physical death, entails eternal separation from God. The most dreadful location imaginable. Forever. We are unable to save ourselves. We all die because we have all sinned. And there's nothing we can do because death is the sentence. We can't resurrect ourselves or defeat death. We're still sunk no matter how many good deeds we do, how much money we donate to the church, or how hard we attempt to atone for our sins.

Prayer[/b]l
Thank you heavenly father for your son Jesus who gave his life for us. You sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to pay the punishment for our sin, according to the Bible. He died on a cross, where He accepted the penalty—death—for our sins. Please Lord, let your mercy reign on us and forgive us for our sins and unrighteousness. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Could It Be True?

24th of March, 2022

"I am the way, the truth, and the life, there is no other way to the Father than through Me." John 14:6 (NIV)

According to the Bible, there is an afterlife called heaven, and it is perfect, the most magnificent place we can conceive, and much more wonderful than that. There is only one way to get there, according to the Bible, and that is through the Person of Jesus Christ.

The truth is that our culture considers the Bible to be "one way of believing" alongside many other religions. In reality, it's becoming less and less popular. Even those who believe it are generally on the fringes, regarding the Bible as trustworthy.I mean, what about Noah's Ark? Really? However, if we accept the Bible and that Jesus is who He claims to be, we are faced with a problem because this is the most vital information we can possibly possess and convey.

If the Bible is real, our mission's urgency is right in front of us. It caused Paul much sadness and agony, as he stated in Romans 9. Knowing that some of our loved ones are destined for an eternity in hell unless we—or someone else—share the gospel with them in the hopes that they may put their faith in Christ and be rescued.

Do you believe the Bible, God's Word, is a trustworthy book?If this is true, it will affect how you live, what you value, what you do with your time, and how you view your connections, both within your family and in the greater community. If it's true, you have the greatest news, the greatest gift, and the greatest truth in the history of the world. Why don't you share it?

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for the gift of eternal life. Please give me a burden to tell everyone I know about Jesus. Help me to see those who don't know Jesus as persons who will perish if I don't tell them about Jesus. In any where I find myself help me to preach the gospel of Christ and live a life that preaches Christ. In be Jesus' name, be Amen.

Heartbroken

23rd of March, 2022

"My heart is filled with deep grief and unending suffering." 2 Corinthians 9:2 (NIV)

Whatever is most important to God should be most important to us. Whatever hurts His heart, it should hurt ours as well. And it is those who do not know God's Son who concern God the most. Paul is a fantastic role model for us. He not only had a broken heart for those who did not believe in Jesus, but his heart remained broken. He never got rid of the weight. His pain was continual, according to Romans 9:2, suggesting that it never subsided or stopped. He was constantly heartbroken by the losses.

Most of us have hot and cold periods, which means our concern for the loss varies. We become fired up when we hear a dramatic testimony from someone who has come to know Jesus, but the flames quickly die out, and we are back where we started until something else tugs at our emotions. We get caught up in the hustle and bustle of life and forget what really matters: people's souls and God's glory.

The Gospel should be a song that we can't stop thinking about. Our hearts should be humming this song all the time so that we might share God's message of salvation and hope with people who cross our paths every day. Our love for Christ should pervade our lives and absorb everything we do.

Prayer
Heavenly Father may the Gospel become the soundtrack to my life, playing in the background as I go about my daily activities. Open my eyes to the possibilities You have placed in my life for me to share my faith with others who are in dire need of hope and grace. Give me the words to say via Your Spirit, so that it is You speaking through me and not me. Give me a deep love for people so that I don't get too wrapped up in myself and miss out on the opportunity to be used by You in powerful ways. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Motivation

22nd of March, 2022

"Because we believe that one died for all, and thus all perished," we are compelled by Christ's love. 2 Corinthians 5:14(NLT)

There's a distinction between claiming to believe something and actually believing it. It's one thing to say it and quite another to put it into practice. The first necessitates intelligence, while the second necessitates conviction. One requires merely words, while the other requires sacrifice. I'd like you to consider the following question: As a Christian, do you believe what you say you believe?

"I am the way, the truth, and the life," Jesus declared. "There is no other way to the Father than through Me." We have staked our faith as Christians for eternity. The Gospel is built on the premise that Jesus is our sole hope of having a relationship with God. If we truly believe in Christ's redeeming and transforming power in a person's life - and that our relatives, friends, neighbors, and coworkers will only go to heaven if they know Him as their Lord and Savior - then the single greatest gift we can give anyone is a clear explanation of how to be rightly connected to God through Jesus Christ. How could any real Christian believer in Christ's words refute such assertion?

When it comes to communicating our faith, love, not guilt or fear, should always be our driving force. "For Christ's love compels us, since we are certain that one died for all, and thus all perished," Paul wrote in 2 Corinthians 5:14-15. And He died for everyone, so that those who live should no longer live for themselves, but for Him who died for them and rose again." Take a look at the following passage's wording... Christ's love compel, persuade, one died for all, and was risen again... When we are convinced of Christ's love for us through the Gospel, His love compels us to tell others about it.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank You for sending Jesus to die for my sins. May His love for me compel me to share it with others at all times. Thank you for your word that stands as a motivation for me to keep striving for your gospel. And let your word be a light to my path always. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Dedicated to Serving

20th of March, 2022

"So, whether we are at home in the body or away from it, we make it our mission to please Him." For we must all appear before Christ's judgment seat, so that we may each receive what is due us for our actions while in the body, whether good or bad." 2 Corinthians 5:9-10(NLT)

It takes a lot of effort to help people. Throughout the Gospels, Jesus tells us to serve others. He talks about serving the needs of "the least of them." He offers us instructions regarding widows, orphans, and the impoverished. Clearly, part of our mission is to assist individuals around us with their practical needs at all times. However, Jesus did not want us to think of serving as a chore.

According to 2 Corinthians, Christ followers will be rewarded for our acts on earth in Jesus' name. It also teaches us that our objective in life is to please Jesus. These words could be misinterpreted as guilt-based motivation. When we serve as Christians, we sometimes feel like this. God expects us to serve him. However, the truth is that there is nothing we can do for God that He truly requires of us. And there's nothing we've done or could do to earn or work our way to salvation. God's connection with us is an undeserved gift—His grace.

You were made to devote your entire existence to serving God. It isn't a stumbling block. It's a good thing. Do not serve God out of guilt, for there is no payment owed to God in the form of work. Rather, serve joyously, knowing that you can serve God fully, freely, and eternally because you are free from sin.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for another opportunity to commune with you. Please remind me that salvation in Christ is a free gift when I feel guilty toward You because I believe I owe You my duty. I didn't and wouldn't be able to earn it. It was given to me by you. I thank You once more for Jesus, who gave His life for me. May my serving be unrestricted and abundant, understanding that it is a privilege to serve You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Serving Others

19th of March, 2022

"However, it will be different among you. Anyone who wants to be a leader among you must be your servant, and anyone who wants to be first among you must be everyone else's slave. For even the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve others, giving His life as a ransom for many." Matthew 10:43–4 (NIV)

As a Christ disciple, Jesus gives us precise instructions on how to serve others. What it looks like in everyday life, He explains in Mark 10, is that each of us puts our own interests and needs ahead of the interests and needs of others. We've fallen so far behind that our goal should be to catch up with serving others.

Jesus reminds us that He came to serve, not to be served. This is a remarkable statement. If anyone should expect to be served, it is the Son of God. Nonetheless, His earthly existence was replete with examples of selfless service. His particular instructions for us are based on His example. Following Jesus means living a life where we are constantly looking for ways to satisfy the needs of others with our talents, assets, and abilities. It is a way of life in which we prioritize others before ourselves and our own needs, focusing on what others lack that we can supply.

We can certainly serve by opening doors and handing out bulletins on Sundays.Don't let your Sunday service, though, deter you from living a life of service. What are you doing Monday through Saturday to make a difference in your neighborhood, school, family, or business by volunteering? Is your life one in which you are not first, but last, following Jesus' example and using what you know and have to lift up and support those around you, as Jesus commands?

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for Your Son Jesus who set the bar for what it means to be a servant for me. He not only served in tangible ways, but He also served me by giving His life as a sacrifice for my sin. Show me how I can be of service to others on a daily basis. Broaden my understanding of service to you through my service to others who need to know you more. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Ambition

18th of March, 2022

"But seek first God's Kingdom and righteousness, and all these things will be added to you." Matthew 6:33(NIV)

Ambition, defined as "a desire for respect, distinction, and preferment," is generally regarded as a positive attribute in life. To be ambitious is frequently not to succeed first and foremost for the sake of the task itself, but rather to set ourselves apart from others. Is it possible to be ambitious in one's field while yet being a devout disciple of Jesus?

According to the Bible, ambition is not a quality that Jesus wants us to strive for. In Matthew, Christ instructs us to put God's Kingdom first in our work and life. This is a direct order to put God's will into action above our desires.

There is a distinction between ambition and aspiration, which is the pursuit of personal glory through our accomplishments. In general, ambition is more personal and self-centered. Rather, we should strive to become the people God wants us to be. In God's Kingdom, a leader is someone who tries to serve rather than lead, and who, in humility, aims to be more like Jesus every day. What is it that you are looking for first? Is there a goal in your life that you believe will help you feel more self-assured? Do you desire to be more like Jesus in your life by acts and activities that ultimately bring glory to Him, rather than to yourself?

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for my gifts and abilities. Remind me that everything You've given me is a gift. As I journey deeper through life, teach me to put your will first in my everyday life. May my desires and passion not overwhelm me against your will. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Trustworthy Stewards

17th of March, 2022

"As faithful stewards of God's grace in its varied forms, each of you should use whatever gift you have received to serve others." 1 Peter 4:10(NIV)

One of the great Christian paradoxes is that in order to become great, you must first humble yourself and serve others. It's critical to understand that the way humans measure greatness in this world differs significantly from how God measures grandeur in His Kingdom. Greatness in our culture is defined by accumulation and accomplishments. We call somebody "great" if they have a lot or have accomplished a lot. However, there is a significant distinction between having great things, accomplishing great things, and being a great person.

Those who are great in God's eyes aren't those who have risen to lofty positions or amassed vast wealth. It is those who serve the greatest number of people in His name. As stated in 1 Peter 4:10, we are faithful stewards of God's grace when we serve others. Consider the phrase "loyal stewards." Have you ever considered yourself to be a grace steward? "The manager, to whom the head of the home has entrusted his affairs, including the obligation of distributing out the correct portion to every servant and children not yet of age," the word "steward" denotes here.

God has entrusted His people with the responsibility of managing His grace...distributing it to others via our service. This goes a long way in laying down our lives through genuine service. It should not be viewed as a one-time event or effort, but rather as a way of life.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you for entrusting me with the responsibility of being a steward of Your grace. Please continue to change my heart and make me more humble and servant-minded. Open my eyes to the possibilities You've provided for me to share Your grace with others today. In Jesus' name, Amen.

A Lone Christian

16th of March, 2022

"As a result, Christ Himself gave the apostles, prophets, evangelists, pastors, and teachers to equip His people for works of service, so that the Body of Christ may be built up until we all reach unity in faith and knowledge of the Son of God and become mature, attaining to the full measure of Christ's fullness." Ephesians 4:11-13(NIV)

The Church is full of flawed, imperfect individuals and leaders, but it was created to be a faith family united not just to improve ourselves or seek our own blessings or self-interest, but to pool our talents, gifts, and abilities to serve others and communicate our religion.

We find an example of God gathering people with a variety of individual skills to form the Body of Christ in the New Testament. The word "body" is a technical term. Each skill and aptitude is required, just as each limb and organ is required to complete our own bodies. Isolating yourself from the body is incorrect on two levels. First, you prevent the Church from being complete by refusing to contribute your abilities to God's mission. Second, you're attempting to carry out your Kingdom duties on your own. It's the same as a hand declaring, "I can do everything on my own—I don't need a head, eyes, legs, or heart."

Every Christian is a vital component of the Body of Christ. Being a Christ-follower entails learning how to work together, flaws and all, to fulfill God's goal and to grow more like Christ as we grow in harmony with one another. Every person who has made a commitment to Christ is a member of God's family.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for using Your Church to create a faith family. Help me use my greatest talents, gifts, and abilities to give back to the Church. Show me how to be a good example to other Christians and how to be an active member of my local church while serving the community and sharing my beliefs. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Display God's Glory

15th of March, 2022

"Let the message of Christ live fully among you as you teach and admonish one another with all wisdom via psalms, hymns, and Spirit-led melodies, singing to God with thankful hearts." Colossians 3:16(NIV)

Apart from the mountains, trees, sunsets, and oceans, God's glory can be seen in other locations. Have you ever pondered how God manifests His splendor in the lives of individuals and communities? One option is to go through His Church.

As we serve others in the name of Jesus, God uses His church to display His glory. Most importantly, we are glorifying God by delivering the most important message of all time when we preach the Gospel. The Church demonstrates to the world that God is worthy of our love by our unwavering dedication to Him, and God reveals Himself to His creation as He works in and through us. As a result, the Church is a means of bringing God's glory to earth.

How does your community perceive God's glory as a result of your actions? Allow it to be demonstrated in the way you care for and wish that everyone in your sphere of influence knows God and believes the Gospel. You can and should be an instrument of God's glory, as can your entire church.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for life. May the way I live, love, serve, and contribute in my community, as well as the individuals in my local church, reflect Your glory each and every day. Teach us to be good people. Let my life be a Bible to all who are yet to know you more. Teach me to live a life that glorifies You. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Church

14th of March, 2022

"And let us examine how we can encourage one another in love and good acts, not giving up gathering together as some are prone to do, but encouraging one another—and all the more as the Day approaches." Hebrews 10:24-25(NKJV)

The Church was founded by Jesus as a gathering of Christians on earth who gathered to become more like Him by committing themselves to His purpose and teachings. As they joined together, worshiped, studied the Scriptures, and ministered to one another in Acts 2, the early Church grew stronger in their faith. Today's churches frequently offer a variety of ministries to engage members and visitors.

Every other organization is not like the Church, because it has Christ as the head of the church. The New Testament Church pooled resources, addressed the needs of those in the congregation who had them, and practiced the religious disciplines with one another on a regular basis. Other groups help humanity and provide companionship, but none compare to the Church in that Christ is the glue that holds the group together for a holy and profound cause.

According to the Bible's teaching on the end times, only one people, the Church, will survive God's judgment and live with Him in heaven. Your earthly faith family is also your heavenly eternal family. The relationships you build with fellow Christ-followers in the Church are the ones that will last not only a lifetime but for eternity.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank You for providing me with a group of people with whom I can connect and serve You as a faith community. Assist me with understanding and prioritizing church in my life and family as a way to properly live out my faith. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Demonstrating God's Goodness

13th of March, 2022

"All of the believers had gathered together and shared everything. They sold their belongings and sold their property to help others in need." Acts 2:44-45 (NIV)

The Book of Acts gives us a glimpse into the lives of the first Christians. It shows how, following Christ's death, resurrection, and ascension, a small group of about 130 believers evolved into what we now call the Church – the Body of Christ. In essence, if we as Christians traced our family tree back as long as we could, these men and women in Acts would be our deepest roots, for it was because of their dedication to Christ and His purpose that we heard the Gospel.

This is both humbling and amazing, as well as convicting all at the same time knowing how the early church scaled through even through the midst of matyrdom and trials facing it.The early Church had absolutely no political clout. There was no military support for them. They lacked a centralized organization, had limited financial means, and no buildings or real estate. Not to mention the possibility of the members being shunned, tortured, imprisoned, or even killed. Christianity, on the other hand, spread like wildfire. What is the reason behind this, and what can we learn from this illustrious past?

While Christianity lacked many of the attributes that we now consider essential to its growth, it did possess two qualities that acted like gasoline on a fire. The early Christians were charitable and gracious to one another. They had little in terms of wealth but gave a lot; and they lived in unity. They lived their lives together, recognizing and embracing their differences in terms of oneness. This generosity and unity were not forced. It happened because people realized they were who they were and had what they had because of God's goodness - and they wanted to share that goodness with others.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank You for life and close worship with you. Thank you for the early believers' example. Please continue to mold me until my deepest passion is to share Your kindness with others. Take away every pride and selfishness in me. Help me to love and give selflessly as Christ just like the early church. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Together, we're stronger.

12th of March, 2022

"They committed themselves to the Apostles' teaching, fellowship, breaking of bread, and prayer." Acts 2:42( NKJV)

Consider yourself to be Jesus during His earthly ministry. You've been handed the most essential task anyone has ever been assigned. You are the only one who can finish it. It will be because of you and your ministry that the world will ever be at peace with its Creator. What would you do and where would you spend the most of your time if you were in this situation? Most of us would instantly begin speaking in synagogues, performing miracles, and perhaps even proclaiming ourselves to be the Son of God. But not in the case of Jesus. While Jesus did accomplish miracles, he was also a sinful man.

The way Jesus chose to live His life on earth serves as an example for all Christians who have followed in His footsteps. We need genuine connection with other Christians as followers of Jesus Christ. We require the kind of camaraderie that cannot be found in a Sunday morning worship service, but rather in sharing joys and burdens, tears and disappointments, successes and losses as we go through life together. We, like Jesus, require an inner circle. These trusted friends will allow us to be open about our sin difficulties and will love us enough to be there while yet holding us responsible to God's Word's truth. This is biblical fellowship.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank you for the gift of my Christian brothers and sisters. I pray that You will assist me in developing deep, meaningful relationships with other Christians. Lead me to a small group where I can serve, fellowship, and learn more about Your Word. In Jesus' name, Amen.

The Purpose Of Worship

11th of March, 2022

"Know that the LORD, the LORD, is God." He created us, and we are His; we are His people, His pasture's sheep." Psalm 100:3(NKJV)

What is the purpose of worshiping God in the end? What exactly is the point of our worship? Is it simply to cross something off our Christian to-do list? Is it in order to avoid feeling guilty? Is it something you perform on a regular basis or as part of a ritual? It isn't any of the above. The goal of our worship is to get to know God better. The goal remains the same whether we have been praising Him for a year or a hundred years. We worship God in order to gain a better understanding of Him.

It is critical to worship God properly; you must worship the true God. God is the only LORD who exists. Adore isn't like a buffet where you can pick and choose which version of God you want to worship. You don't get to pick and choose which aspects of Him you like, are comfortable with, or agree with and ignore the rest. We must worship God in the way that He is revealed in His Word.

Do you know who the Bible's God is? Do you realize that this LORD is the Almighty God? Worshiping the correct God, even if you think you're doing it badly, is vastly preferable to worshiping the wrong God beautifully. The closer we come to God, the more we will want to be with Him.We will know Him better and trust Him more as we have more experiences with Him. We shall love Him more if we get to know Him better. We shall obey Him more quickly if we love Him. And when we love, trust, and obey God on a regular basis, we will begin to feel the fulfillment, joy, and purpose that only following Him can provide.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for being a God and a Father to me. I want to be able to truly feel You each and every day of my life. Help me to trust, obey, and experience You more when I worship You. Show me any areas of my life where sin is stopping me from experiencing You fully. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Gladly serve

10th of March, 2022

"With gladness, worship the LORD; come before Him with pleasant singing."
Psalm 100:2(NKJV)

Not only are we to worship via service, but we are to do so gladly, as the psalmist tells us. With joyous music in our hearts, we are to serve God. How you feel about serving is a fantastic indicator of how far you've progressed in your relationship with God. Do you enjoy serving others in the name of Jesus? Do you consider God's service to be labor or worship? As our trust in Christ deepens and expands, our perspective on service shifts, and we realize that it is no longer a duty, but a privilege...no longer a commandment, but a joy.

"God is not asking us to transform the world; rather, He is asking us to serve the person He has placed in front of us right now...and then the next...and the next. God will use us in large ways if we are faithful to serve in the tiny things. We may never know how our service to God has impacted others in this life, but we may trust His Word when He says in 1 Corinthians 15:58, "Therefore, my dear brothers and sisters, stay firm." Allow nothing to sway you. Always commit yourself completely to the Lord's work, knowing that your toil in the Lord is not in vain."

What if God's people came to regard their service to Him as worship? Consider the influence we could have on our churches, communities, and the globe if we were consistent in doing the little things with tremendous love.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for a great privilege to commune with you and to serve you. I'd like to honor You by serving others in Your name. Please open my eyes and heart to the opportunity to love and serve those that You place in my path today. Give me a compassionate heart and the courage to share Your love with others. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Cheerful Worship

March 9, 2022

"All the earth, shout for joy to the LORD." "With gladness, worship the LORD; come before Him with pleasant singing." Psalm 100:1-2(KJV)

Worship should never become monotonous. In fact, God values worship so much that the first four of the Ten Commandments are dedicated solely to it. The Book of Psalms has more verses on worship than any other book in the Bible, and Psalm 100 has more verses about worship than any other chapter. Take note of the first word in this worship chapter: scream. The word "shout" in this context literally means "to split the ear." While the psalmist isn't advocating for us to literally yell or act crazed, he is advocating for worship to be full of vigor and excitement.

Consider this: how do you act while you're watching your kids, grandkids, or favorite team compete in a sporting event? How interested are you in what's going on in that game? Many of us are deeply concerned (possibly too much). We might wear our team's colors, watch the game on TV or buy tickets, and yell wildly throughout. If our team wins, we are thrilled; if they lose, we are disappointed. We become enthralled. We become more expressive. We also become emotional. How much more so, when we worship the Creator of the Universe, should we be in that spirit?

"The mouth speaks out of the overflow of the heart," Jesus stated. "If your heart is in worship, it will show in your countenance and involvement." Your gladness and delight should be visible in your worship, according to Psalm 100:1-2.

Prayer
Heavenly Father You are deserving of all of my praise and devotion. Please accept my apologies for going through the motions of worship without genuinely engaging my heart. May my joy, expression, and feeling for You outnumber anything else in my life. Henceforth, I'll worship you joyfully. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Worship Temperature

8th of March, 2022

"Oh come, let us bow down and worship; let us kneel before the LORD, our Creator!" Psalm 95:6(NIV)

Did you realize that we all have a spiritual temperature in addition to our bodily temperature? In the life of a Christian, there are only three spiritual temperatures. These are measured in the heart, not the forehead. Jesus spoke about a cold heart in Matthew 24:12. In Revelation 3:16, He talked about lukewarm hearts. Then, in Luke 24:32, Jesus talked of burning hearts. God wants hearts that are continuously ablaze with longing for Him.

So, what is the best way to gauge our spiritual temperature? There's a thermometer that can't tell you how hot it is, but it can also regulate your temperature. This thermometer is a religious object. Whether or not you worship God – and how you worship God – is an unmistakable indicator of your spiritual temperature. Start with your own personal worship of God if you wish to raise your spiritual temperature.

Prayer, Bible study, and musical worship are all part of your personal worship, which involves both corporate (with other believers) and alone time with God. Above all, sincere worship of God must be guided by His Spirit and based on His truth (John 4:24). This is the kind of worship that God wishes from His children, and it's the kind of worship that will elevate our spiritual temperature, causing our hearts to burn brightly for Jesus.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for the gift of life and health. Thank you for another great privilege to commune with you. Please reveal me my heart's spiritual temperature. Every day, I want to shine brightly for You so that people will know that You are deserving of all praise and honor. Allow me to set aside time each day to worship You in Spirit and truth. And also guide me to live a Christ-like life. In Jesus' name , Amen.

Perfect Rest

7th of March, 2022

"And on the seventh day, God completed His work that He had begun, and on the seventh day, He rested from all His labor." Genesis 2:2(NIV)

The universe, the moon, the sun, and every creature in the world were all created by God. In more ways than one, he understood it would be essential to a happy, healthy existence. He took a day off from all of the labor he had been doing. Why did God take a break? He couldn't possibly have been exhausted. God is all-knowing and never gets tired. Simply put, God did not "rest" as we would, but rather came to a halt. He set a Sabbath (day of rest) as one of the commandments to make sure we understood. His people were to "remember" and "keep holy" the Sabbath day. This was not only a physical rest, but also a labor-free period. Every week, they were to take a full day off from whatever work they were doing.

The Sabbath was not only for the physical, mental, and emotional well-being of God's people, but it was also for much more. It foreshadowed the arrival of Jesus, the Messiah, who would bring spiritual rest to those who believe in Him. God's people in the Old Testament strove hard to be pleasing to God even in their worship. They performed many sacrifices, celebrated various feasts, and adhered to severe regulations. These sacrifices were made in anticipation of Christ's ultimate sacrifice on the cross, where He was crucified. Jesus, our everlasting Sabbath.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for sending Jesus to die on the cross for my sins. I can have permanent rest in Himbecause of His work on the cross, knowing that His sacrifice on the crosshas forever removed my sins. In Jesus'name, Amen.

Casting Off

6th of March, 2022

"So I say unto you, do not be anxious about your future..." Matthew 6:25 (NIV)

God encourages us not to be anxious throughout the New Testament. He advises us not to be concerned about the future or things we can't control. He tells us not to be concerned or afraid, and he reminds us to cast our cares on Him, that He gives us peace, and that He has prepared a resting place for us.

God is well aware of our proclivity to remain anchored in our difficulties. We have a tendency to cling to every piece of unpleasant news. We spend our time anticipating the next shoe to drop. However, this is not the life that God intends for us. He loves us so much that He sent His Son to die for us, and He wants us to know that He always has our best interests at heart.

Rather than being tethered, we can boldly cast off the shackles of anxiety and fear. Even the waves and storms of life do not have to sink us on our journey in Christ since we know our ultimate goal in paradise. God wants us to enjoy the ride, to feel the motion He creates beneath our feet, and to ultimately begin going. Stop worrying about what will happen if you look back at the dock. Instead, look ahead to the ocean and marvel at the freedom of existence on God's grace's boundless waters.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for being there for me always. Help me to put my fears and anxieties on You and live a life of freedom in You, knowing that You are always looking out for my best interests. Please help me to let go of any bad idea that crosses my mind. Allow me to cast off instead and enjoy the voyage You have planned for me. I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Healing For The Hurt

5th of March, 2022

"I've told you these things so that you can find peace in Me. There will be trouble throughout the world. But don't lose heart. I have triumphed over the world." John 16:33(NIV)

The Bible describes a world rife with suffering. That is to say, the world is constantly in agony and turmoil. In such a place, what hope do we have? Certainly, qualified professionals should be sought for assistance with today's mental challenges. However, we must not overlook the soul when healing the mind. Our current hardship is treated by God as a spiritual issue.

John 16:33 tells us to be cheerful... because he has never had a difficulty, a problem, nothing is too hard for God.God has triumphed in a world ruled by fear, anxiety, and chaos. We have peace in Christ. And this calm is spiritual peace, knowing that in Christ, we will be welcomed into a heaven free of dread and anxiety. In your current distress, remember that God has triumphed, and you can find spiritual peace in Him.

Prayer
Heavenly Father Help me to trust You as my Overcomer when I am nervous and scared about everything that is going on around me, or when my mind races due to internal problems. Remind me of my spiritual well-being as a result of my relationship with Jesus. As I cast my cares on You, give me courage. Help me to overcome adversity in life through Your power and the presence of Your Holy Spirit in me. In Jesus'name, Amen.

Deep Wounds

4th of March, 2022

"However, I pray to God, and the Lord will deliver me." Psalm 55:16 (NKJV)

An enemy can rarely cause us serious harm. Sure, they can hurt us and insult us, but when we're dealing with an enemy, we're usually on our guard. The deepest hurts are inflicted by friends and family, not by foes. We've let our guard down and exposed our most vulnerable spots by opening the doors of our hearts to them. They have the capability to seriously harm us, and we are the ones who have provided it. The spouse who abandons you for another. The friend who abandons you when you most need him. The parent who abandons their child. These are the most in-depth cuts.

King David demonstrates in Psalm 55 that he was aware of a friend's betrayal. David had numerous foes, but the worst were his closest associates (Psalm 55:12-13). Have you ever had someone you liked and trusted betray you? If that's the case, let Psalm 55:16's "but" bring you hope and healing.

When someone we care about hurts us, we can always seek safety in God's companionship. Even when everyone else fails us, God remains steadfast, strong, and true. His love for us is unwavering, and it is greater than any betrayal, rejection, or hurt we may ever experience. Running to Him releases us from the urge for vengeance...the need to be vindicated right now. We can put our trust in Him. He is our righteous judge.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for life. Please pardon me for having wronged you, and when I am wronged, I strive to carry out my own interpretation of justice and judgment which isn't correlating with your commandments. When I am badly injured, please help me to trust You. Assist me in forgiving they that hurt me instead of retaliating. Give me a heart that loves and forgive, just as you love and forgave me my transgressions. I pray in Jesus'name, Amen.

God First

3 March 2022

"Love your enemies, do kind to those who hate you, bless those who curse you, and pray for those who mistreat you," the Bible says. Luke 6:27-28(NKJV)

Love, according to Jesus, does not just forgive when another person asks for it. Love comes with no strings attached when it comes to forgiveness. Love also bears with another and endures. And, as 1 Peter 4:8 says, love covers a multitude of sins. If we're being honest, I believe one of the biggest roadblocks to loving and forgiving in this way is that if we do this - if we truly do good to those who hate us, bless those who curse us, and pray for those who mistreat us – very few people, if any, will know. It's very challenging a thing to do but it brings glory to God.

We are not roaming around depressed if we do good, pray for, and bless our enemies. We're not withdrawn and grumpy, nor are we worked up and irritated. We're not making a big deal out of our pain. Rather, we are acting in a hopeful, cheerful, and generous manner. Therefore, no one will even know that we have been rejected, ridiculed, betrayed, or wounded. And that will enrage everything in our selfish, sin-filled nature. We want people to know when we've been wronged by nature. We're looking for sympathy. And you can guarantee that if we're being nice to our adversary, we'll make sure everyone knows about it.

Is it enough for God to know you've been hurt? Is it enough to invite Christ? He is, nevertheless, our devoted High Priest, who has gone through everything we have. How often do our hearts become more focused on people than on Christ? Our biggest need is not for our suffering to be acknowledged or validated, but for God to be more important to us than anybody else. We show God that He is most important when we obey His Word and offer grace and forgiveness, especially when it is not requested or deserved.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for loving me.It is true that obeying Your Word to love my adversaries is difficult. Please forgive me if what other people think matters more to me than what You think. Change my heart and draw me closer to You until nothing and no one can separate us. Teach me to look like you. In Jesus'name, Amen.

Rejected Savior

2nd of March, 2022

"A man of sorrows and acquainted with pain, he was despised and rejected by men." Isaiah 53:3(NIV)

Wounds caused by a friend can be far more painful than those inflicted by an opponent. Because the pain comes as a surprise, it seems to cut much deeper and sting much more. It festers and takes a long time to heal. At some point in our lives, we have all been rejected or betrayed. All betrayal and rejection, no matter how big or small, significant or insignificant, hurts... From being the last one picked on the elementary school playground to the deep hurt of being abandoned by a spouse or parent, all betrayal and rejection – no matter how big or small, significant or insignificant – hurts... The anguish might be intensified by the depth of the relationship and trust.

In the midst of such anguish, there is no greater consolation than the knowledge that our beautiful Savior, Jesus Christ, was also deceived and rejected - even by those closest to Him. Two of Jesus' twelve disciples turned away from Him. Peter rejected Jesus out of concern for his personal safety, while Judas betrayed Jesus for a bag of money. On the night of Jesus' arrest, Peter denied ever knowing Him three times. Oh, Judas, that kiss must have shattered Jesus' heart. His own people also turned against Jesus, yelling, "Crucify Him!" No one in history has ever been rejected as much as Jesus was on the cross when God poured out His anger on His Son as a result of our sins.

When I consider Jesus - the suffering and rejection He endured as a result of my wrongdoing – I am moved to respond in the same manner He did: with grace and forgiveness. I'm not suggesting it'll be simple, but it'll be doable. The Gospel's depiction of Jesus' rejection reminds me that He died to set me free from bitterness, rage, and despair. Because of His love and forgiveness for me, I may choose to love and forgive others through the power of His Spirit, even those who have gravely wounded me. Looking to Jesus, above all, reminds me that He is my most devoted friend, the One who would never abandon, injure, or betray me.

Prayer

Heavenly Father thank You for washing off my sins through the death of your Son Jesus. Jesus You are the most devoted friend I have ever had. Thank you for teaching me how to forgive, even when I have been terribly injured by others. Thank you for allowing me to forgive myself for rejecting You. Give me the courage to love others as You have loved me. As I pray in Jesus' name, Amen.

Little Sins

1st of March, 2022

"O God, refresh a steady spirit inside me and create in me a pure heart." Psalm 51:10 (NIV)

"Create in us a new heart and renew a firm spirit," we're truly saying, "I want to be changed from the inside out, not only on the outer." It is extremely difficult for people to let go of sin, especially "pet sins." Though we may have difficulty asking God to pardon our sins, we will discover that we have no trouble forgiving ourselves for some transgressions.

Maybe your pet sin isn't so horrible after all. It's not quite the same as murder on the scale of wrongdoing. Is it, after all, really hurting anyone? Each of us collects and holds on to "pet sins" that we continue to perpetrate, either to a degree we render for our own mind or because we can keep it a secret. It's possible that it's because we don't want to let go of it. Alternatively, we may feel stuck in that sin, and while we trust God in many areas of our lives, we don't believe God will be able to free us from that sin's grip.

I can tell you right now that if you are addicted to pornography, drugs, alcohol, a terrible temper, or filthy language, all of your New Year's resolutions are completely meaningless and powerless. What we all require is the renewal of God's Grace. Why do we commit sin? It is due to the fact that we are all sinners. We are who we are, therefore we do what we do. We require a comprehensive spiritual overhaul, not just modest repairs. Our problem, you see, is much bigger than individual sins. Our issue is sin. You must not only deal with what you do, but also with who you are.

Prayer
Heavenly Father thank you for saving me through your Son Jesus. I have a sin nature in me that I don't want and can't get rid of. Thank You for sending Jesus to pay the penalty for my sin. Create a new heart in me, one that is wholly devoted to You and completely despised by sin. And give me a heart that won't go back to sin. In Jesus' name, Amen.

Wrongdoing

28 February 2022

"Have mercy on me, O God, according to Your unfailing love; blot out my faults according to Your great compassion." "Wash away all my sins and wash me from my transgressions." Psalm 51:1-2(NKJV)

Wrongdoing can be described in three ways. "To breach a forbidden border" and "to rebel against God's law" are two definitions of transgression. Because it is foolish to suppose that you might transgress against an all-knowing, always-present God and get away with it, the word iniquity implies "perversity." "To miss the mark" is the literal meaning of the term sin. It doesn't just mean missing God's mark for you; it also means missing the mark for what is best for you.

That is precisely the point. Sin isn't described as a "error," "misfortune," or "misjudgment" by the psalmist. He refers to it as God refers to it. That is what the term confess means...to agree with God on the definition of sin. It's not a relationship; it's adultery. It's not just faking the numbers; it's outright lying. Borrowing forever is not the same as stealing. To be free of sin, one must undergo profound transformation, therefore what does Psalm 51's author ask for?

He begs God to forgive him for his sins. Sin leaves an indelible mark. The author wishes to have the record wiped clean. If a Hebrew committed an offense during this historical period, he may make a sacrifice to atone for it, but there were no such sacrifices available.King David, the author of this psalm, had done both. It is difficult to undo the act of adultery, and you cannot reclaim the life you have taken. The only thing David could do was appeal to God, who was the only one who could wipe the slate clean.

"Wash away all my sin," the psalmist continues. Sin not only makes you guilty in God's eyes, but it also makes you filthy. You miss out on God's best for you because of sin. He, on the other hand, is always ready to receive you in your sin, cleanse you, and return you to righteousness so that you might live a life that honors Him.

Prayer,

Heavenly Father I confess my faults to you today. I'm sorry for my wrongdoings and acts I have taken that is against your commands. Please forgive me Dear Lord. Help me to abstain from every form of sin. Teach me to walk in Thy footsteps. I pray in Jesus'name, Amen.

"For I am aware of my sins and they are always before me." I have sinned and done what is wicked in Your eyes exclusively against You, therefore You verdict is correct and justified when You judge." Psalm 51:3-4(NIV)

At some point, every youngster does it. They crawl into a corner, bury themselves beneath a blanket, and hide, knowing they've done something bad, broken something precious, or committed some other offense against mom or dad. And we carry that idea with us for the rest of our lives. On the news, we see "cover-ups," where people hide sin, crimes, and misdeeds. Who hasn't "swept their mistakes under the rug" to keep them hidden from inquisitive eyes?

Attempting to cover up our guilt dates back to the first sinners, Adam and Eve, who covered themselves with leaves when they discovered they were naked in their sin. We practice denial, claiming that our sin doesn't truly exist and that God doesn't have an objective moral rule. We may also engage in concealment, in which we are aware that something is incorrect yet keep it hidden from others. Another ruse is to reinterpret sin as a "mistake," or to argue that what we're doing now isn't truly wrong because society has evolved so much since the Bible's time. The truth is that none of these coverings help us overcome our sin problem.

"He who covers his faults shall not succeed," says Proverbs 28:13. God is aware of our transgressions, and all of our misbehavior is ultimately directed against Him. But, luckily, there is a method to expose our sin and have it entirely covered by God. We have "propitiation" for our sins via Jesus (Romans 3:25). Jesus' death on the cross accomplishes more than just atone for our sins. He departs with them.

Heavenly Father thank you for dying on the cross to atone for my sins. Thank You for removing my sin from my life so that I no longer have to hide or fear the consequences of my transgression. Please help me to live for You, and may Your Spirit continue to reveal things in my life that do not belong to me. In Jesus'name, Amen.
