Maize prices continue to dip in most location. At N60000 per tonne averagely, its likely to fall further given most harvest will be due soon.

Soya price is also dropping gradually with the trickling harvest. Should arrive at N110/kg by November.

Soya beans/100kg bag @ 19/10/2017

Bodija market, Ibadan
18,833

Mile 12, Lagos
15,833

Dawanau market, Kano
15,040

Gombe main market
15,000

Igbudu market, Warri
23,000

Makarfi market, Kaduna
12,000

For more info, subscribe to novusagro

We can deduce that Lagos generally have a cheaper wholesale price compared to Ibadan.
The only thing I see cheaper is red beans that is more expensive in Lagos at 45,000 compared to Ibadan at 39,000 per 100kg bag
What of in the northern markets, how much is 100kg of red beans?

Let's compare with that of bodija and mile 12

Could be large market demand and low suppliers. Most goods I see are more expensive in bodija than mile 12.
Do you have access to bodija market? But it doesn't make sence, you pass Ibadan before you get to Lagos either from the middle belt or north

Bodija market is almost as big as mile 12, there must be an underlying factor

Please if you have access to other basic food produce from bodija do update sir

Would check your source later for yesterdays update
