IKON360:Beowulf ain't boring, at all |
stephinnoyewole:Nice one. But don't be surprised if it immediately drops to 95 percent quickly though. At times, calibration might not be so perfect. Greetings |
krattoss:God bless you, my brother |
MeshachMARTINS:LOL, yeah |
Goandie:LOL, same with Xiaomi oh (people squeeze their face at the awkwardness of the name when I mention it), but redmi on the other hand, ain't bad. |
Well, in regards to the proximity sensor, if it is true, then I'm not shocked because due to the water drop notch screen design, there's hardly any space to place the proximity sensor, so some companies use software to deal with this issue, while some put in a very tiny proximity sensor which is not so accurate. This is one of the reasons iPhone used the longer notch, in order to have enough space for whatever sensor is required. I wonder how other smartphone companies with water drop notch or no notch at all (but pop up screen) dealt with this issue. |
OHIsIManuEL:Some wise posts I've read here for a while now. You and ubev01, nice one...Thumbs up |

macbeyland:Exactly!!!...As the phone continues to fall and survives without cracking, it's durability is reduced. Thereby, making every fall that comes afterwards likely to break the screen |
iamboladee:The redmi note 7 is actually better. Samsung was smart in putting the A20 at almost the same price-range with the RN7, making it seem like it's on par with it, but it's not. The A20 should even be compared with the redmi 7 and not the RN7, while A30 or A50 (not sure which of them though) should then be compared with the RN7. The two things I know that the A20 uses to have an edge over the RN7 (I won't say it's better, just has a little bit of edge over the RN7) is the Amoled display which produces vibrant contrast colours (though it's not full HD) and the brand name, Samsung. |
One thing I've noticed here is how Xiaomi phone users bash other phones e.g. tecno, infinix, Samsung etc, but react somehow when Xiaomi is bashed. You guys should stop bashing other phones, it ain't good. Buy a phone brand you trust and can afford. No phone brand is perfect. At times, everything depends on luck. You can buy an iPhone (new), even a Samsung phone(new) and it will develop a fault. That doesn't mean the whole of the brand should be ridiculed... I see some people even attacking a brand because the phone they bought had issues, the first week they bought it. All na luck. You can buy a second-hand phone and it won't have any issues, but buy a new one and you will experience issues while someone else will buy that same device and won't experience even one issue till he changes the phone. All na luck. This is technology for crying out loud. Mistakes can happen in production, packaging or something entirely different. MODIFIED: One can even buy an inferior phone and (s)he won't encounter any issues with it, while another will buy a superior one and start regretting why (s)he bought it due to issues here and there. Once again, stop bashing other phone brands. Buy your device, use it and enjoy it to the fullest. You can actually convince someone to switch to a better brand without having to ridicule the other brand. (I'm not just referring to Xiaomi phone users but every phone user) |
I am wise because I do not think I know what I do not know - Socrates |
I've also been quietly following the thread for a while now, but decided to drop a post here because of missiles and Fibonacci's comment on how they were in my shoes also, LOL...I greet you all, brothers and sisters. |
