Kaycee7: The Witcher 8/10 Even with the non-linear storytelling, it plots its episodes like a procedural, making it easier for you to follow the story. Great acting from a good number of the cast (Cavill nailed the titular role), immersive soundtrack and gritty, beautifully choreographed action sequences. Thanks bro |

Dr7Manhattan: These shows are quite good But it's best to download a couple of episodes and see for yourself if you like it or not What's interesting for me can be boring for you And most people on the forum don't know shit. So I wouldn't take their words at face value Lol @ your last two statements . Downloading a couple of episodes might not even help, because some series get better as they go deeper. I remember the first few episodes in GOT season 1 were kinda boring. Thanks for your input bro . Much appreciated. |

nkiliuzo: witcher to me would probably be an 8/10, it's a bit confusing from the beginning but keep on watching, it will get interesting but there are some of my friends who don't like it, still give it a try, the action scenes are dope. Westworld is quite interesting, it keeps you interested, an 8/10 also. Thanks a lot, bro. I'm not really into one particular genre of movie. Any good movie, whether action-packed or just talks (just like Billions) is okay by me. Thank you. I will give them a try. |

Hello all. What's you guys' rating on: The witcher, westworld, outlanders etc
After procrastinating for a very long while (especially for the last two series), I'm thinking of downloading them. |

Update:
The Device hasn't arrived still, and I've explained to the guy that he will get a refund.
I then heard talks that he is malicious towards me. because of this, I approached him to talk things out; then, he slapped me, because other students were around, and he wanted to feel like a champion. I didn't cut him any slack, I retaliated and made sure he was death several punches. All this was June 17th. Though I haven't commented on this issue before, I have been following it up. Well, I think one of the issues here was trust, honesty or transparency. Though, you might not have had any bad intention towards him, but the way you handled matters was sending a message to the guy that you couldn't be trusted, you didn't care, and that you were not a honest guy. If this was an actual business, your reputation would be at stake already. Put yourself in the guy's shoes. You may actually have done the same thing, or even worse. You should never have avoided his calls from the onset. Though I don't know if the guy is very understanding, but some people can actually be reasoned with. Assuming, from the beginning, before all these brouhaha started, you sat him down, talked calmly to him and showed him proofs of what was happening and assured him that all will work out fine (even promising to refund him back if all didn't go as planned), all these may just have been avoided (Pardon me, incase you had already done this. I'm not All-knowing). Well, since the deed has been done, and one can't reverse time, you have to look for a way to settle this issue amicably with the guy. The solutions people gave here are actually nice. I think you should swallow your pride, walk up to the guy and settle issues with him, so that your studentship will not be revoked (he might actually be able to do something about this). Do not let pride make you have a "had I known" thought in your mind. Remember this, you can't rewind time, so use this opportunity wisely. All will be well, bro. Cheers. |

The way people hype AMOLED display (especially on phones), you will think LCD display is nothing to write home about...AMOLED is better, yes. I love the display also, but that doesn't mean LCD is not good either.
All these nice screen qualities and resolutions are best enjoyed on bigger screens, like TVs.
When I held my galaxy s9+ and wanted to compare it with an LCD screen of lower resolution (1080 x 2340), I thought I would be irritated with the comparison, but to my surprise, I wasn't so excited about the difference.
Yes, the difference was clear, it was very visible, the AMOLED was better. But not enough to make me feel irritated at the LCD screen. |

krattoss: Abeg when will Glo and MTN start talking about 5G?
Is it when the whole world move to 6G?
don't let people who say 5G go chop data 5G go chop Data foool you
I went to YouTube to hear from people who are already using it and what they are saying is,
if you want to download e.g 1GB movie from the Internet on 4G it will take 30-40 minutes but on 5G it will take 5 seconds.
Now the difference here is the timing of the download. On 4G 1gb will be deducted from your plan while on 5G 1GB will be deducted from your plan also.
It's like downloading with 3G and 4G LTE. Same 1GB will be deducted for downloading the same file but the difference is the timing. 3G might take 1r 20min to complete while a proper 4G LTE will take 30-40 minutes to complete. But 5G will take 5 seconds. But all of them will still deduct the same 1GB for downloading the same movie Nice one bro. This is the truth. It's still the same data consumption. The only difference is that, with faster speed comes faster usage. You will want to stream YouTube videos, open bigger webpages, download very large files within seconds (and many other things) etc. And before you know it, your data is finished. To enjoy 5G, our network service providers need to come up with better data rates. In my opinion , unlimited will be the true way to enjoy 5G. But which network service provider offers true unlimited data. None. When you reach a particular data cap, they slow down the network speed and make browsing life miserable for one. No one wants to lose. |

genius43: Normally I would have ignored your post, but at times it is good to educate the less informed
IR BLASTER
The first phones to come with that tech where from TREO owned by PALM in the year 2002. As it evolved it found its way to the Sony Ericsson P900 & P910 in 2004 then the Nokia N71 and a verizon windows mobile Samsung sch-i730 in 2005, in 2006 Nokia N73, 2007 Nokia N95, E51, 5700 Xpress music and co.
Skipping to the android Era the HTC ONE M7 was the first device released with an IR blaster in 2013 closely followed by the Samsung Galaxy S4 the rest is history
So I bought the S4 in 2013 and it had the IR blaster not your claims of 2014 like your misinformed mind tells you.
The race of bezeless was started by Xiaomi with the first Mix.
Vivo NEX was the first POP up camera in 2018 not OnePlus followed by the OPPO find X(Oppo is OnePlus parent company) but Vivo and Oppo is owned by the same company BBK ELECTRONICS.
Get your facts right before you embarrass yourself publicly. Nice one. Was about giving some corrections till I saw your post, thereby saving me the stress. Thumbs up |

genius43: I have a hard drive 750Gb that have not been formatted since 2013 but I have had a lot of phones stolen with SD Cards on them. That's why I mentioned OTG( lot of phones support that these days) and Cloud Storage. Flash drives are easier to keep than SD cards About the stolen phones, that's why I mentioned "redundancy". Since I have my important files on my system and hard disk, I have nothing to fear. @bolded...Quite true |
Phones › Re: The Xiaomi Thread. by Kakashiii(m): 8:28am On Jun 01, 2019 |
genius43: That is not a deal breaker for me anyway, when you can lose all your data on an SD card with a blink of an eye. I use an OTG flash these days for back up, then transfer to a hard drive I use to store personal files. The very important ones, cloud is there.
128Gb internal memory is ok for me I wonder why people keep saying this. I have two memory cards (one 16gb and another 32gb). I've been using them since 2012 (I know it's hard to believe) without having any loss of files. I still like memory cards, not because of the extra storage, but because of file safety. I know how many times my memory card has saved me when I didn't have my laptop with me (cos I backup my most important files on my laptop and external hard disk for redundancy purposes) plus when my phone battery was flat, even when my phone had issues. I just pulled out my memory card and collected the files I needed and continued with my work. Buying quality matters also. Well, I might not understand cos I've not been in you guys' shoes. Maybe, your memory card too was a quality one, I don't know. Good morning |
