April 23 applicant still waiting for PPR.

Hello Nairaland fam,

I submitted my study permit application on May 5th, got NSE request and I submitted my IELTS and 4 mybankvisastatement account. Till date, I haven't gotten any reply.
Am going for a Masters of Nursing program at Thompson Rivers University and classes begin on September 7. That's approximately a month from now. I'm very worried. Will I be able to meet up or will I have to defer. Next deferral date is September 2022(dats too far). My agent has sent emails to Nairobi office (or at least that's what she tells me).
I want to personally send a mail to parliament member of my school province. Please is this a wise decision?. Are there any consequences to this action. If I tell my agent, her answer will be No. But am actually worried and confused.

Did you write why you couldn't meet the NSE requirements?

No I didn't write anything immediately after the 30 days, it changed to we are reviewing your eligibility. The NSE request letter I got stated that my application will be processed normally if I don't respond to the NSE request after 30 days.

Pls did you go through NSE or normal route, I applied April 26, through normal route though I got NSE request but ignored and my eligibility started may 26.

@ray007bu, it depends on the additional document/s they are asking for.
I submitted my application with IELTS, so the request was solely for mybankstatement certificate. Since my financial sponsors are UK residents, I just explained in the letter that the request does not apply to me and that they should go ahead and review my application bearing in mind that my app has long exceeded the stipulated processing time on their website and also my resumption date is 7th September.

Good to know you implemented the advice given by me by uploading a written letter of explanation and transmitting the application to IRCC. Now, it is time to follow-up with IRCC office in Nairobi to finalize processing of your application. This will trigger action on your file and subsequently approval letter will drop.

I did my biometrics on 26 April as well and I got NSE request same day but I ignored. I waited till the expiry (30 days) to go through the normal route.

Review of eligibility started May 26
Medical passed June 18
But my current status is still showing "your action is required".

What should I do please?
