On a normal and gud electrification project, no matter hw heavy is rainy there shouldnt be power outage but in Nig especially rural areas most of d housing, transformers, lines etc are nt properly earthed and if theres thunder, lightening etc electrical appliances and lines equipment can get damage by transient current. My broda many factors bt if IEE regulation were obey no need of outage.

though am connected with international grid, dats Nigeria-Niger republiq line and i enjoy maximum electricity, i mean d way every Nigeria should be enjoying. 24/7 of power supply except on maintenance routine carried out by NIGELEC.
