femi4:bro I did this yesterday oo. It didn't restart till this afternoon, then went back to restarting again...chai |
Yeah. I noticed that when Ii travelled and I didn't have 4g it didn't restart. But I changed it and it started restarting after a while, but I can try it again. If it works for like 2 weeks, I'll give you feed back. But no internet is sweet like 4g oo. Lol. Thanks though. |
An interesting Sunday story: Around this time last year, I bought a Samsung A20s in Lagos. I was very happy finally getting a new Samsung, after using my former Samsung for quite some years, and I'm an avid follower of Samsung. That night after buying the phone, I noticed it restarted itself but I didn't think much of it, maybe it's just new phone play. I used the phone sparingly, for a few days, without it restarting, then after about 3 days, it started restarting again and I was surprised. Every day, it seemed to get worse. The phone would suddenly restart at any given point, sometimes even when it's not being used. I went on Google to find a fix, thinking maybe it's because of an app I installed or something, I found dozens of solutions. Well, to shock you, none of them worked for my phone. It got so bad that even on very important calls, the phone would suddenly restart, and restart again like 4-5 times before going back to normal. These days, it restarts around 8-10 times almost every day. I'm quite an IT person, and I've helped many people fix various phone issues, but this one has baffled me. I did the ultimate and formatted the phone, and as if to laugh at me, the phone restarted right after being formatted. That was the height of it. I've used safe mode, deleted all apps, done everything possible. At a point, I started suspecting android webview app as the cause, because I noticed it happens very frequently when I'm using chrome, playstore and few other Google apps. I noticed whenever I clear webview data, it would stop restarting for a while, until webview automatically enabled again. Only that now I've been able to disable webview, but it's still restarting every day lol . Even while writing this, it restarted twice. To cut long story short, I'm now beginning to think of rooting the phone, if it'll help because it's tiring. The only thing stopping me now is I realized the phone has 2 years warranty so I'm being patient if I may be able to find a Samsung centre. Funny thing is I called the Samsung care numbers on the Samsung care app, the guy sef confuse when I told him I gave tried everything he said, so he gave me their address which I drove to at adeniyi Jones but it was an empty building. I think I bought the worse Samsung phone, lol. Please if anyone has been through this before, please share with me how you solved it. |
ILovebigyansh:Actually the strategy is sweeter with higher risk. It's a kind of hedging strategy. But the ultimate is still to be able to catch new long term trends right from reversal point. Any body that can do that is a forex millionaire. Lol |
Havenie:thank you |
Please someone wants to register early for the coming jamb. I want to know if the form is out and what is the process and how much. God bless you all helpful nairalanders. |
Thanks people |
Unequivocal:that would be nice. Do you mind organizing it. That was actually why I started a nairaland thread |
ILovebigyansh:lol. I don't really calculate that. So far I'm in n profit. But honestly some days are good, some days not so good and some days I may lose my capital, and the next day gain all of it back with my strategy. Last 2 weeks I had a single day with 750% ROI of all my trades total for that day, I can send you the evidence but privately. I'm even getting interested in starting an investment platform since I now trust my strategy. |
Quick question please. Asking for a friend. Does the postgraduate hostel in Uniben allow free interliving between males and females as they do in keystone hostel and in hostels outside of the school. Please any experiences would be appreciated. Thanks |

As unbelievable as it may seem, right in Ikeja, in the heart of Lagos, about 15 minutes drive away from the popular Fela Shrine, there's an African/Christian night club and bar. If you are not told, you'll almost not notice the differences besides the type of music the live band plays. I was meant to have done this review since Christmas but work has made the last 2 months very fast. As evening approaches, the place gradually gets full and teeming with people from all categories and walks of life, some know that they're in a Christian night club, while others don't. All your nice delicacies are there though I personally love the fried rice. Suya there is actually very cheap and rich, same with their Olive's shawarma and other African cuisines well peppered. A lot of your celebrities are quite familiar with the place and are regular visitors almost every night. The place takes a 100% African setting with very beautiful African cultural designs from head to toe and palm wine that is praiseworthy . It's located near the gate at ABBA Johnson, at Adeniyi Jones, Ikeja. Open every night 24/7. The name is Kulture Yard.

This is me updating this. There's more to learn in this. You have to protect your trade and find a good risk management method to be in good profits Webcomb:yes I've changed it and so far so good. I'm having more good trades after removing stop loss and using margin stop of 95%. Though I'm on low leverage. Turns out trend take hours or even days to form completely so it's best to use a pending order |
rhynoemmie:do you trade crypt also? That's a crazy ballgame. Bitcoin moves to much with no direction |
rhynoemmie:RWI walks good. But I'm annoyingly ok with trading trend breakouts after consolidation stops. To each one his own sha |
rhynoemmie:I'm using btw weekly to 30 days tf. The best way it works is by monitoring consolidation. Once the market stops ranging and starts trending, let trend confirm then buy in trend direction. Only issue I'm having now is too tight stop loss. Sometimes it closes when trend is still forming |
criuze:what's TDI |
Chidexthebest:try IQ options. Simple interface |
rhynoemmie:lol. I've experienced this with Random walk index indicator. But I got tired of short term trading with it . Sometimes 2 seconds after a trade, it's high green In profit, |
rhynoemmie:thanks. The only issue there is you'll have to take multiple trades daily, currently I only have time for few long trades a day. Once I get the perfect strategy I'll quit my job. Lol. And yeah I'm talking of trend line strength. Looking at long term trends with small lot trades that could last 1-10 days |
rhynoemmie:I've been contemplating something. How about trading long term trends. As in like 200 day bars on 2 hour time frames and if there's an established trend , follow it. Using support/ resistance for stop loss. Don't you think such trend would less easily fade out. |

I like your sense of humour... what you just narrated sounds very stressful and I am not sure I will be as calm as you are if I were in your shoes. Please return the phone to a Samsung outlet soon, you do not need this kind of trouble from a device you should be enjoying.
