The certified judgment documents released by the Chicago, US court, where the presidential candidate of the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC), Bola Tinubu was indicted of drug dealings and money laundering in 1993, surfaced and have been making the rounds on the internet since Tuesday, showing that a US District Court indicted the former Lagos State governor for drug dealings and money laundering.
The certified court documents indicated that Tinubu was a drug lord who entered a plea bargain in which he voluntarily agreed to forfeit his assets to American authorities in 1993 instead of going to trial.
Aisha Yesufu, a human rights activist in her social media space, has stated that Aso Villa cannot become a haven for drug dealers.
Chinkoalhaji34: Asiwaju got a million enemy and yet at every turn in life, he always triumph over them. We are not bothered by the noise of the haters, Tinubu will be president.
Who do you think is the best Nigerian musical artist talentwise?
I am not talking of commercial success the likes of Davido,Rema and Burnaboy have enjoyed. I am talking about raw and natural musical talent that hardly misses with the tracks they release.
My top 5 in order of talent and who create consistently good songs:
Softmirror: ASHAWO TOO SEF GET MOUTH O! POLITICS IS TRUELY A DIRTY GAME. IF ATIKU GIVE HER SMALL MONEY TO SLEEP WITH DOG I SURE SAY SHE NO GO HESITATE LIKE SOME NIGERIAN GIRLS.
alizma: What answer did he give to justify such act, can he tell Nigerians that should he be come the president today, every government official can do the same thing without any issue, if no, why should I accept his explanation? Besides he only said his no longer involved in the business but he didn't denied the fact that his parents or siblings has interest in the business. More so you and I know that his claim is just for political purpose. If Obi is having financial challenges today, won't his relative who still have interest in the business come to his aid? By so doing his has benefit from the profits from the state government fund he invested in the business when he was in power. That is the conflict of interest we are talking about.
Lashist: Emancipate yourself from your hate, bigotry and foolishness...stop telling people to stop hating when you are one dumb bigot...everytime your issue na igbos for NL
Throwback: You mean the Contractor decided to cash the cheque in Anambra, knowing fully well that he was going to move the money to Lagos where banks also exist, including the bank headquarters whose cheque was to be cashed?
The contractor who foolishly cashed N250m in Anambra that he could do in Lagos, did not make any prior arrangement to move his own money to Lagos, yet he proceeded to cash it in Anambra?
And Peter Obi who is the Governor that allowed all of these to happen was actually a bank Chairman before he became Governor?
Is this the kind of dull analog 3rd class mentality that wants to rule Nigeria? .
Chinkoalhaji34: Peter Obi is a very clever thief, he stole 250million from anambra state and use his aide to loot the money to lagos. When the aide was caught, Peter Obi lied that he sent the aide to use the money to go and purchase car through cash. This man did not inform the house of assembly before, no notice given to anyone that he was trying to purchase cars with cash but he just came to use that as a defense when he was caught.
He is a kleptomaniac who lies for a living. Only God knows how many of such money he stole from anambra through this dubious way when he was governor.
That is why I said Obi Panodra is the most dangerous thief and a clever one at that.
gidgiddy: The real story is that Peter Obi paid the government contractor 250 million Naira by cheque for the supply of cars. The contractor cashed the money is at Awka and asked the Governor if he could tranfer the money to his base in Lagos in one of the cars in the Governors convoy for security reasons
The money was intercepted in Lagos by security agents and was investigated by the Police, EFCC and the Anambra State House Of Assembly. No wrong doing was found and the money released back to Obi and the contractor
This was a simple matter of a car dealer who wanted to deal in cash rather than cheque. Car dealers are notorious for only wanting to deal in cash, rarely do they touch cheque payments
The contractor cashed it by cheque in Akwa a whole N250 million naira and wanted to use government cars as taxi service to transfer the money to his base in Lagos.A cheque can be cashed in any branch location in the country- this explanation makes zero sense.
Go and tell that story to illiterate and kindergarten children and they may buy the story.
