When I started to learn trading I was just learning rubbish.

My Eureka moment came when I started learning about

Market structure
FVG/Imbalance
Order block
Liquidity.

On risk management I suggest that rather than using a fixed lot size he should use a fixed amount and calculate the lot size he should be using based on the amount of money he willing to lose.

Example: If a trade has a Stoploss of 13 pips and he wants to risk $5, he should calculate it with a position size calculator to get the right lot size that would give him a Stoploss of not more than $5.

Also a better RR should not be less than 1:3. 1:2 is rubbish to me. Everyman with his opinion tho.

you are so right man.. i got my AHA moment when i understood liquidity and started thinking like a market maker. yeah aon risk management a risk calculator will just be fine cos some pairs have higher dollar to pip ratio.
