JagabanBorgu: You don't mind racism provided you are making ur dollars, u may end up being another George Floyd, u can continue to moan all u like.
You are actually the one moaning, at least George Floyd was a criminal although that doesn't mean he deserved what happened to him.
Deborah's only offense was to tell her classmates to stop using their WhatsApp chat for religious discussions and your retarded countrymen burned her.
Farmers in the northern part of your shithole can't even go their farms in peace without worry of being kidnapped and you are foaming in the mouth about America that is a million times better than Nigeria
Meliforme: Who is to blame, if you failed to notice that he created more chances than any midfielder in 2019 AFCON tourney despite getting less in play time.
To start with he didn't play at the 2019 Afcon, he was at the 2021 Afcon where he only played 3 games.
His ability to create chances is only reserved for the SE, he magically avoids creating chances at Barnsley, Chaves and Ponferradina. I'm glad you are not SE coach.
Meliforme: It is just like saying, leave Super Eagles matter, it is spent.
I will say this with every insight that i have gathered from my studies of the Super Eagles team:. Kelechi Nwakali is needed more than Eberechi Eze in the Super Eagles. He is more important. Believe it or not believe it.
If someone labels Osimhen as monster machine, they have data and metrics to back that up but when it comes to Nwakali the so called midfield maestro it is Grammer upon grammar with zero data to back it up.
Chicago druggie can't even feed his agberos and urchins that do his dirty work, after creating Lagos and everything in it he abandoned his people to die of hunger. Spits
joelsteron: People don talk tire.... Any sound tactical coach will easily go for a midfield of KELECHI NWAKALI, Onyedika & IWOBI... Nigeria please now
Nwakali’s got that creative spark and vision, even if he’s been underutilized or overlooked at times—his passing range could unlock defenses. Onyedika brings some steel and energy, a solid box-to-box presence who can break up play and keep things ticking. Then Iwobi, with his versatility and Premier League experience, adds flair and composure to tie it all together. It’s a balanced setup on paper: creativity, tenacity, and technical quality. Nigeria’s got talent in spades, but cohesion and the right lineup have been hit-or-miss lately. This midfield could control games against most AFCON opponents and even hold its own in tougher qualifiers, assuming they gel. The bigger issue might be convincing a coach to take the risk on Nwakali if he’s not getting consistent minutes at club level, and ensuring Onyedika’s discipline doesn’t leave gaps. Iwobi’s a no-brainer. Add your own!
There was a reason he had terrible credit yet you felt having to co-sign on a loan with him was a good idea, you could have told him to save some money and buy an affordable car since he couldn't afford the one that got you in this mess.
Zooposki: Dey there dey dull yourself. I’m talking of a scientific experiment and you are bringing me a TV show.
There's video proof for my assertion, perhaps you can provide link to yours. Secondly, thinking women are capable of effectively carrying out tasks that require physical strength with ease is delusional, speaking of a group that cannot even change their car tires.
Zooposki: You might also want to watch that BBC documentary where boys and girls were separated into different apartments for less than a week. The boys devolved to animal status while the girls thrived.
You might also want to look at the past where the wives from a particular country went on a strike and remove their support from their husbands. The whole country almost collapsed. Can’t remember the name of the country. You might want to look it up.
Your ignorance should be in the Guinness book, for all the so much retarded comments you couldn't even be competent enough to provide a link for the gibberish you're talking of. Here are the women thriving without men
Meliforme: To date Kelechi Nwakali still remains our most creative midfielder. Whosoever he has offended in the NFF, should please forgive him. If he has offended anyone, let him make peace.
We don't have any midfielder with his kind of crosses, long balls and creativity.
If they get a 3 point deduction and we still end up not doing our part it will be worse, the players and the coaches should take their mind off this at the moment and leave it to our administrators and FIFA to deal with it. The 4 remaining games is what the team should prioritize and focus on
JohnBullMySon: Na this mentality make us dey where we dey. Thinking that your opponent is weaker than they are.
Make all of una comot eye from South Africa joor. Those guys have topped this group. Points deduction or not, they are heading to the mundial.
Southie will flog Lesotho and they won’t lose to us.
Our only hope now is via best loser. Na Benin we suppose focus our attention on. Benin must not pick up points against Zim especially cause I no trust Lesotho.
That final game against Benin republic must not be a decider for them. If not eh go dey messy.
The only thing left for the players and the coach to do is to focus on the things they can control and see how other teams fare in their respective games, which is our performance in the remaining games.
They have to be mentally prepared to actually want to win games especially the one against South Africa, take each of the remaining 4 games with 110 percent seriousness.
They've beaten us before in Uyo and I don't see a reason why beating them in their home will seem like rocket science, it ultimately comes to how seriously the players take the game.
Also the coaches and Eguavoen have to use the upcoming friendlies in June to try out fringe players they want to market and leave the qualifiers to select 23 player that can actually win you games including 2nd and 3rd choice goalkeepers who might see zero minutes.
It's a long shot but we can only control our performance in the rest of the games then let the rest play out on its own.
codemaniacs: if I write this same comment as yours they will call me a conspiracy theorist...
Eguavoen or a group of people in the NFF keep writing the same list of players without any young new additions to the list.
without Ndidi the SE made it to the Final of the AFCON.. so why is Ndidi still given a starting shirt just because he plays in the EPL..
its because of things like this I was not happy about Onyeka moving to Germany because I know the NFF won't invite him anymore..
both Orban and Ejuke can play Chukwueze's wing and Chuks needs someone to bench him in that wing.
In the next international friendlies window, it is still the same list of players they will invite again.
Don't be surprised to see Iheanacho, Musa and 5 Nigerian league players in the list for the friendlies, 7 points after 6 games for the Almighty Super Eagles.
Taminu they kept forcing into the team is currently in division 3 reserves, now it's Papa Daniel that failed trials in Czech Republic they plan to sell.
Peterzoom20: Ekong and ndidi should leave this team after afcon. Their legs are gone. Players from npfl might not have the europe training in them but they would have the passion to defend the country. South Africa would soon go to the world cup with mostly home based players.
South Africa selected their best players for the qualifiers, did the SE do the same?
Goke7: It’s high time we review this over dependence on foreign based players, it’s not working 100% for us. Zeal and commitment always comes back to hunt us. We can’t continue to see our foreign based stars struggle against home based African teams. It’s becoming a thing of mockery, something is wrong somewhere abeg
The home based players are even the worst, how is the CHAN team performing in their games?
The selection of the team has to be such that your 23 players has to be of same capabilities but then having Eguavoen and corrupt officials it will take a miracle for that to happen.
If a 23 man team is selected in the SE, about 15 will be good players while you'll start wondering how the other 8 selections were made.
Jerrymanta: Maybe, just maybe in a "what if" situation with the benefit of hindsight, the likes of Dessers, Ejuke, Christiantus Uche, Orban etc would have offered us more if they were given a chance in this qualifiers. The Lookman/Moses Simon stuff just hasn't worked with Osimhen, same as Boniface (though to be fair he never got a chance). Even Sadiq would have given us something different, who knows at this point? We were so afraid of dropping points that we failed to try anything new. Ghana called up and played several new players alongside the experienced ones and see how that turned out for them.
Even the Papa Daniel should have been given a chance in the second half when we were struggling with creativity in the first against Zimbabwe.. why then was Papa Daniel invited? he looks like a really decent attacking midfielder from his YouTube highlights, so not err on the side of caution if Osimhen was getting no service by bringing in more players early in the second half? Why was Bruno on the bench when he gives more attacking outlet than Osayi? Why was Ola Aina played out of his natural position? Why wasn't Chukwueze yanked off and maybe Boniface and Tolu brought on early and at the same time to support Osimhen? Why wasn't Onyeka who would have ran his socks off and supported a tired Ndidi invited? Why wasn't Onyedika played when he stabilizes the midfield better?
So many why's, and at this point it will never make sense why I even waste my mental health supporting this national team. Except for raw patriotism, I should never be this emotional distressed over a country has never given me any reasons to be patriotic.
Abeg congrats to all the serious countries that qualified, maybe I should just pick one small African country that will be making it's debut in USA/Canada and just support it. Nigeria won't be the death of my mental health under this useless APC administration. I refuse to be unhappy because of Nigeria
It's been the same habit for local coaches and anything they have their hands on, the criteria for selecting someone like Papa Daniel is what? Their plan has always been to select a first 11 then the rest can be made up of fringe players and at least one they could benefit from once he moves to Europe. Chelle might be from Mali but the list had Eguavoen written all over it.
The same thing Onigbinde did in the 2002 World Cup with the calibre of players he selected, Christian Chukwu did away against Angola in 2004 and much of that qualifying for 2006, Eguavoen has been doing since he's been the coach/technical director for the 2022 series and this one.
I just have pity for someone like Osimhen and Lookman as if Nigeria misses out of the tournament they'll be 31/32 by the time 2030 WC comes.
