While I empathize with you (you are one of the strong few who hold OandO) I have to add that we all [at one point in time] have one/more stocks we are currently stuck in. However, without directly answering your question, I will say that you should bear in mind that there is no guarantee of profit with the so-called better stocks. Finally, I'll advice that you wait at least till Q1 '26 or/and the RI prospectus is released... ghm: Any advice on OANDO?
Please don't say buy-the-dip – no funds left for that. Better stocks are calling.
At ~22% loss, should I sell, take the loss, and redeploy? Or hold?
Any catalyst coming?
@ Prophet Utaka, any prophesy for the stock?
I asked similar questions when I was at a cross road on Aradel, thanks to all the advisers who asked me to hold and I am happy holding. Thanks. |

I think there might be share buy-back on a pro rata basis + reconstruction. The current OS of 168bn is insane... Streetinvestor2: Pls I don't understand this English. Is it share buy back which requires paying for the shares. Or it is reconstruction of shares at rate to be determined but shareholders will not receive any money for it |

Not really. I believe that both indices use different metrics for their assessment... It's still possible for FTSE Russell to upgrade NGX before the Dec '26 being muted by S&P mikeapollo: It was obvious that the FTSE Russell's assessment was wrong and unsustainable. |

On the NGX market classification, we have a really long way to go.
The FTSE Russell classification system has five (5) cadres: - Developed Market – Mature, highly liquid markets with strong regulation and easy access for international investors. e.g. USA, UK, JAPAN - Advanced Emerging Market – Emerging markets with relatively high levels of accessibility, liquidity, and market infrastructure, though not yet meeting all developed market standards. e.g. India, Brazil, China, RSA - Secondary Emerging Market – Emerging markets that satisfy the minimum requirements but still have notable limitations in market accessibility or infrastructure.. e.g. Egypt - Frontier Market – Smaller or less accessible markets with lower liquidity and more operational or regulatory constraints. e.g. Kenya, Morocco - Unclassified Market – Markets that do not yet meet the minimum criteria for Frontier status or are not currently classified.
There are three main indices to look out for: Morgan Stanley, FTSE Russell and S&P. |

500k? Where? The best you can get is 350k (a 2.9m fee is now 2.6m) Itzlinda: Is not minimal sir.
You will get atleast 500k reduction on old cars and atleast a million naira for a car that cost 10 million naira before.
Let the market digest the new rate and new vehicles came in.
The car prices will definitely fall |

No sir! Not mad The register of holders at CoB on 25 June will be used to determine those who qualify to take the offer. So, if you bought on 26 June upwards, you have two options: remain as a shareholder OR sell off on the floor. Likewise, whoever held at CoB on 25 June, has the option to accept the offer OR remain as a shareholder. PS: the offer covers ONLY 1.96% of minority shareholding (out of 29.95%) so even though it's an MTO, the choice/final decision rests with holders similar to the case of MRS... deathwing: Wait, so you'll get paid the full amount per share even if you no longer own them? Mad. So this is like dividend, but full price.
