I told you guys that when money comes back, it won't announce itself. Maybe we're still too early to judge, but a look at the amount of money actually moving these stocks will tell us more. If it's just ₦150 million doing all this, then we're not in the clear yet. cheesy

I usually don't like these debates about political appointments because they [more often than not] are baseless and change next to nothing!

However, I need to remind y'all that the rot in the system is felling these debates.
IF, a big if, we can have effective office holders, we won't be having these debates.

Instead of debating on the number of offices held by a zone, why don't we focus on the EFFECTIVENESS of each zone by office held?
Ethnic bias [and all ancillary vices] have made such the order of the day where we find square pegs in round holes.

Let's stop treating Alopecia areata (lapalapa) and focus on the leprosy... PLEASE!

When I decided to give up on politicians and their supporters was during a campaign in one of the US elections. The sitting president said he had reduced unemployment to 6% through his policies. The opposition, on the other hand, said 15,000,000 Americans do not have a job and that the government has failed.

What I saw was that each was using what suited them – 6 as a number is very small; 15,000,000 as a number is huge. Only for me to discover that 6% of the population is actually 15,000,000 people. So both were telling the truth — they just chose the number that made their side look better.

If you don't get it, forget about it.

The reduction is synonymous to saying that they reduced furniture allowance from 15% to 10% without reducing the basic salary or other bonuses...

The effect is minimal

I am also surprised too. And they said it will bring down the cost of vehicles? I don't think so.

“In a forest, regardless of the weather, the Iroko tree is more likely to withstand better”

No sir, they are not doing anything wrong. Just part of the learning curve.
Rather I share Mercy’s advice to anyone in this predicament, not to sell your losing stocks. Seek advice from those with investment grey hair and there are many here..Pa Emma, Sunrisepepple, Mercy, awesomeJ, megawealth01, pluto9, Karltom, Osita..Gina and Chimex to mention just a few, that in my opinion, have a sanguine disposition to investment. We are actually all here because we wish to learn. We wish to be more profitable. Whether you own billions of Naira or just kobos. Some may need to learn more than others. Send them a private message/review their previous posts, if necessary, they would be more than happy to help. Markets climb and fall , that’s what markets naturally do. You only lose when you sell. Businesses are in business because they believe in themselves or else they would have shut down. Convert the poor performers to long-term stocks to give them time. Some that were even suspended some time in the past, have found themselves back on the exchange. However, learn and master which companies are the “Iroko tree stocks” in the investment forest and stick to those e.g from the Ngx30s. Buy the IROKO stocks at the right prices by whatever assessment strategy suits your appetite. Learn to recalibrate after every earnings report released by these “IROKO stocks” to discover if you are still on the right side of profit or need to switch. Never buy a stock without understanding what the company does and whether it’s profitable or potentially profitable. Learn to analyze financial statements. Follow every disclosure on Ngx to box stocks into profitable or potentially profitable. Outside of this, it could well be a gamble.

By the way, how is Pa Emma, haven't seen his post for a while.

Without taking much away from what you wrote, you can do well to reply within the context of the OP wrt ZENITH... smiley

Beeron:
The reason for the decline is in plain sight. Correction mixed the implementation of T+1 and retail Investors greed. And I will explain why.

So why do I say so?

The last brief correction we had was back in October and November which was majorly as a result of the poor communication about Taxing the stock market, foreign investors were unsettled by it which spooked retail investors hence the brief correction. Fine and good.

Things began to shape up around late December, it was a good run in January and suddenly February came: Breaking news —(Pension fund can now invest in the stock market)

At that point, It was a rush to accumulate as much as you can accumulate, if you check now and look back to some not so good performing stocks, they came alive back in February buying spree even Oando, basically they did a rally and lost momentum.

Actually, large cap should follow that patter to correct a little in March. I was expecting that to happen. But to my surprise, something else happened.

Tick Tok, X, Nairaland and other social media began to hype how they making money in the stock market, most people turned to financial influencer and that was when the second phase of buying bagan in late March into April.

I also noticed a pattern that was happening, which barely happen in NASDAQ and NYSE and what was that?

Nigerians keeps buying even after most large cap stocks reached overbought level just like Tulip bubble in Holland. At the point, I became fearful because even Institutional money kept up with that unprofessional trading technique.

When things was about to cool down, Iran and US war began which now made the oil sector joined the group chat.

I swear to god ( funny how I am swearing to god eventhough I am Atheist lol) anyways, I swear I never thought ASI will get to 250k, the shit blew my mind because all I was seeing on my trade chart was Tulip bubble.

Now the bubble finally poped and you telling me you don't know what caused it?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 2:22pm On Jul 02
You should not take credit for this decline except you can lay claim to knowing the reason for the general decline in the market.

All things being equal...

ogawisdom:
grin grin grin ZENITH will certainly stay below 100 tomorrow, already touched 99.70 today, when i predicted it in April many people laughed it off, the way it is going even sub 90 is possible.

let me get ready to take a second tranch of Zenith as i continue to observe the dip getting dipper, dippest lipsrsealed

Except an institutional investors or HNI enters the market this is far from over. The confidence in the market is LOW because of too many ignorant investors doing herds mentality shocked.
