I thought the deadline is 31 March 2026 pluto09: GTB is not doing anything wrong in my own opinion. They wanted to beat the December 31 deadline for adequate capitalization as prompted by cbn guidelines. The easiest and the fastest way to get that done is through PP, the same thing access bank did |

You have a point here! However, we should not overlook the y-o-y increase in revenue and gross profit (>25%). I personally believe this is the core factor I look forward to Q3 Every mallam to his kettle...awesomeJ: You do realize the core drivers of the good numbers (fx gains and asset disposal) have been visible since naira went below 1450. Anyone who wants to get it should still be able to get in below N50 without struggle.
There may be volume on the stock, but the numbers aren't enough to pull a full bid run, given that they've been largely expected since at least their last quarterly results.
I ran an analysis on it here stating that further gains on the naira vs August 31st close meant these gains would again be reported,. So you expect the broader market to know that even more. |

We have 4 days left to trade in 2025... Raider76: I actually thought the market will have rallied strongly to the end of the year so that stock prices would be high on 31st December, the reference date for CGT in 2026. But apparently only Ote$ thinks that way. |
