Don’t change anything on that dsc 160, it will cause your denial. Simply say “myself but your uncle would be supporting you too, here is statements” finish.

My Emergency Appointment was approved this morning.

Ihave I-20 for Fall 2021, yet to receive I-20 for spring 2022 admission( different school)

I already filled DS160 with the school for fall 2021.

I'm thinking of going for spring 2022, due to time constraints.

My friend's VISA was denied today @ Abuja embassy.

He said the VO asked him 3 questions about funding his studies.
His COA is 32k
He has partial funding/scholarship of about 8k
Personal funds about 11k
Sponsor( uncle) will take care of the 13k deficit.

What could be the reason for his denial

No one can say for sure, because we dont work at the Embassy. But to be in the safe side... it's better you do the needful

With your NIN, all your social media handles can be obtained. Even if you don't list them on the Ds160 portal. Since NIN is linked to your phone numbers.

U r right about social media activity. People should be sure what they are filling or saying is consistent with what they have on LinkedIn and Twitter or whatever media handle they have dropped. Also maintain neutrality or at least be seen as tolerant of others position n opinion, especially on sensitive issues like sexual orientation n d rest...if you want to keep judging n crucifying others, don't drop the handle involved

Did capturing at ALAUSA on the 15/06/2021. But on the printout slip I was given the collection date stated 24/06/2021. I am yet to receive any text or email for collection!!!

If you will still have 6 months on the day of your interview, you are good to go. If not, go and renew. But you better start the renewal process now, cos you can't travel with a passport with less than 6 months validity whether you have visa on it or not.
