So if your pastor claim that the spirit of Jesus Christ has come upon him to do so and that's why it was done and further ask you to take it as holy communion
Would you take it as a good Christian who believes his/her pastor? Jesus did not turn stone to bread but if a pastor turns one , I will be interested in begin his business partner, distributing it nation wide |

mimimile93: Op there's no naija girl that doesn't beg.. Even the so called working class girls are leeches.. Just dump her and remain single. If you need s€x get olosho I don't and will never beg a man for money, not when this my two hands are active. So don't generalize, I am contented with what I have. How much can an average Nigerian man give you sef? How many can afford to start that dream business or get you a plot of land or even car? The highest thing you can get from them is 20k. Why stoop so low and after parting with the token they won't let us rest on nairaland. |

Health › Re: My Challenges With Rhesus Factor In Pregnancy And How I Overcame It by Katier00(f): 9:33pm On Jun 01, 2018 |
ChelseaDr: You are very correct. That is the standard practice. However we have our peculiarities in this country. It is not everyone that enjoys health insurance and most dont cover the drug because it is very expensive for our women to afford.
2 weeks ago, I advised a couple to start making arrangement for the drug, when the made enquiries, the price ranged between N40,000 to N43,000.
So cost is a very serious factor hence most doctors resort to giving it after birth.
Thanks for this insight. Cheers!! I don't think that my case was because of the cost, yes the injection is very expensive but some doctors don't think it is necessary to take 2 doses. I was given the best attention by my doctor who is a senior consultant, went for antenatal very week from 5th to the 40th week. So I had all the attention I needed. |

Switup: you know the government we in... that may take years . but you can do sth by enlightening us here on nl if you are knowledgeable and vast in that field you are right. The op has given out the major points about the rhesus factors and you know the case of rehsus negative is very rare, only 15% of the world's population. Here in Nigeria it is most common among the Yorubas than other ethnic groups. It is however very important that we all know our blood group and always move with a tag that indicates our blood group , in case of accident or emergency that might require blood transfusion. A rehsus negative person can not receive blood from a fellow positive person. |

linearity: Interesting....Sorry.
In the US, it is usually recommended to take two doses before delivery for all Rh+ve regardless of the Rhesus factor of the unborn baby....i.e. at the 28th and 34th week and if the baby is Rh+ve another dose after delivery or miscarriage or vaginal bleeding. a shot works for me. |

I am rhesus negative too and I always take my anti-D injections after child birth or miscarriage. We need to enlighten people about rhesus factors and how it can affect childbirth. This simple knowledge can make a lot of difference |
