First, the policeman takes the thief accross, drops him and goes back alone.
The policeman picks a son, takes him accross, drops him and takes the thief back with him.
then the father goes with the second son, drops him and goes back alone.
next, mother and father goes, father drops then mother goes back alone.
then the policeman and the thief go and both drop while father comes back alone.
father and mother go leaving behind the 2 daughters, father drops while mother comes back alone.
mother takes one daughter accross leaving the other behind and both drop.
policeman and thief go back policeman drops thief and takes d last daughter accross.
he drops her with family and goes back for the thief.
