MissAhoy: Sorry, my agent received the medical instruction on the 3rd of January,i checked VFS website this morning and got a message that i should contact VFS for further instructions, i went there at 10.30am and they said my passport was still in transit from the embassy, i should come back 3pm today. I left, will go there 8am tomorrow and then proceed for my medicals from there.

wow, datz gr8 news, since 19th Dec. Dat my agency received d mail, my status changed today on vfs website, am sure it was after d embassy was "put in d know" about my situation on friday. Done medicals today but with my drivers license, intl passport came in ds evening.

Finally done with medicals, I did it at @ Asaju clinic and xray at crestview, now awaiting TRV by Gods grace, hw far kenniy and missAhoy? Any updates?

@Medical awaitees hw far? Any updates...chk ur spam mail o! Cus ds mailing, may b dia new style. My intl passport came in 4rm d embassy ds evening but I had to use my drivers license tru out 2day, embassy is rili slow ds period, I hav a feeling a restructuring is being done.

Idomaboi: I don't think I got an update from vfs when I got called for Medical...was it maple that called you? Maple just called me and I went and collected the instruction from them(maple)

Were u tracking? Every info I gave was directly frm maple, am headed thr tmrw morning to knw wats happening,they tld me to come, maple gave me my app numb so I hav bin tracking

Does this mean u havnt done ur medicals yet since Dec 3rd? if yes i dnt blame u cuz itz confusing , they dnt usually send mails, they update tru vfs, i hope the time spent waiting on confirmation whether to go ahead with medicals wunt mean anyfing? am gonna ask my agency tmrw. plz whats d name of ur agency?

the mail was sent on d 19th Dec but as usual, they were waiting for the update frm vfs, it dint change, datz wen i put pressure on them, it was obviously internal issues like u said so they had to go and enquire wat was goin on, nxt tin they called me same friday evening to come over 8am monday morning wiv passport photos and Id.

Its medicals, the challenge here is dat myself, kenniy n missahoy were sent mails to go for medicals without an update frm Vfs, so wats confusing is whether ds is dia new style of inviting for medicals? No one is sure yet but I will knw more by tmrw.

kenniy: so you have just been waiting for an update since then? u didnt go ahead with the instructions? any update on today's visit to the embassy?

Havnt bin in lagos since on d 24th but I came in today! after I was told to show up tmrw by 8am to the office (agency's office) with my passports and drivers license, its obvious , the embassy wld hav given dem a go ahead, they hav nvr experienced that b4 datz the reason we were waiting for the update 4rm vfs, since thr was no update, they went to the embassy on friday, tmrw I will update the house about my experience

MissAhoy: I have always followed this thread, i applied for TRV but not for student visa and thus the reason i have not been contributing, though the thread has been quite inspiring. I have a question for Kayce43 and Kenniy, we have similar situations, a mail was sent to my agents and CDHC asked me to go for medicals with an attachment stating my details and file numbers and a medical form,but VFS has not updated their site, and am wondering if i can go for the medicals or not without my passport. Although the attachment said a means of identification passport or driver's licence or national ID.

Yes o, my agency confronted the embassy on friday, I was told to bring my passport photos and drivers license tmrw, will update the house abt it by tmrw.

kenniy: ok..m in serious dilemma now..

just got a mail directly from CIC for medicals..not an update on vfs website, which by the way has not been updated even till now.. a direct mail with the medical instructions. no advice to make payment. just medicals. Thing is, my school (uOttawa) resumes class next week, and when I asked for resumptions extension yesterday, they said I have to wait till Fall 2013 if I cant make it to class by next friday. Am thinking of further appealing to them, and probably calling or mailing higher authorities in the school to appeal that.. dunno..

Just last night (before this medical instructions of cos), I made up my mind to retrieve my documents, and proceed to my plan B (UK), because I am running on a full FGN (NITDA) scholarship, and its time sensitive kinda.

At this point am totally lost. Any suggestions abeg?

Ma broda , this exactly the same tin dat happend to me since 19th of December, till today no update on Vfs website, so my agency told me this morning dat they had to print the mail and take it to the embassy physically, so they get an update y my passport hasn't reached Vfs.
