Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Federal Airports Authority Of Nigeria Recruitment 2015 by kayce911(f): 1:17pm On Jan 09, 2015
I noticed same when I tried to register last night, there was only space for Cv and passport.I stopped, thinking something went wrong cos the requirement included all your skool qualifications, local govt of origin etc but there was no space for such. Plz those that have registered shld tell us their own experiences.
rekeson:
1. I did mine last night.

2. When filling the form, the only document they requested from me was my CV and they also made provision for me to upload my passport.

3. When I clicked on submit, the only acknowledgement I got was inside the site. No mail was sent to me in that regards.

4. I did it on chrome browser with my android device, but the site's display and navigation was very very poor. So it is possible there was room for me to upload other documents which wasn't visible. Or maybe I was supposed to upload them together with my CV.

5. I didn't sign in before filling the form, so I am wondering if there will be any room to modify my entries!!!

That's why it pains me when SW youths keep deceiving themselves out of greed for VP position,, that Buhari will eradicate corruption.

Corruption thrive more in a faulty system

These steps below are the best steps to eradicate corruption

Resource control

Fiscal federalism

Privatization

Political federalism

Decentralization of Nigeria

Restructuring of Nigeria

Institutions submitting their quarterly activities to public scrutiny

Which are the fastest route to economic diversification , citizenry prosperity and political greatness

I believe corruption is in every sector in Nigeria and looking at the above post we've only mentioned or talked about corruption in the oil well ownership. I was expectting a wholistic approach that can touch every sector in Nigeria.
GMB coming back after 30 years shows that we aint moving forward as a nation. Judging from comments above he is only trying to patronize us, no concrete plans to end corruption yet. I am still expecting an excerpt of one of his speeches on how he intends to end corruption "if" elected.

Do u knw any link where I can read the owners of various oil wells in Nigeria.
WhiteTechnology:

The SS and SE are not against private ownership of oil wells

What we are against is

Hausa Fulani allocating the oil wells to themselves and few of their Southern friends.

For your info

China is encouraging private ownership of businesses which has helped her economy surpassed that of US in recent time.

Your view about true federalism leading to break up of Nigeria shows you are a novice on political and economic matters

True federalism means

Empowering the States LGAs and Private Sector to be the vanguard of economic growth, citizenry prosperity and political stability.

Well said
Flets:
Buhari cannot fight corruption. It is impossible for his person to succeed in doing that. There are two angles to it

Firstly. .. under democracy, only a court can determine if a person is corrupt or not. This is not military where the president has veto powers to do as he likes. Politicians can pay their way through the courts and judges and there is nothing Buhari can do about it. If he changes the judges, the next are as corrupt as the previous. The only way out of corruption under democracy is adopting true federalism where politicians have to work to earn their pay and there is little or nothing to embezzle

Secondly, Buhari is not interested in fighting any corruption otherwise he would have made public his plans.

What communion has light with darkness? What could integrity and corruption be doing together?

Lets face it, Buhari is as corrupt or more corrupt than Tinubu.Integrity is a matter of principle and there is nothing in the world that could make a man who claims to be incorruptible to mingle with the same corrupt people he should be against.

If there is any height of deception, Buhari is the global unit. Thankfully Nigerians can see through all his evil

On the other hand, Buhari is the only terrorist who has openely defended bokoharam and condemned Nigeria army.

Those men seem untouchable and that comes the prob again, how will he handle them ?
trillville:

Most of the northerners that own oil wells are Buhari's enemies and not his brothers.
Buhari like other military men in his era is not a tribalist.
Politics / Re: How Does GMB Intend To Fight Corruption If Elected ?? by kayce911(f): 8:41am On Dec 27, 2014
Complicated theory
trillville:
The ND issue is more complicated than what is presently being discussed. The issue of onshore offshore dichotomy will have to come to play if oil wells are to be given to the ND in my own honest opinion. Again, the onshore oil wells, if given to the ND will have to be given solely to the traditional rulers of the regions the wells are located in. It is quite a complicated process.

What Buhari 'may' do is use the revenue which the current owners are earning as savings in our external reserves. This will I'd in reducing the present predicament nigeria is facing and at the same time reduce the injustice in the system.
Politics / Re: How Does GMB Intend To Fight Corruption If Elected ?? by kayce911(f): 7:50am On Dec 27, 2014
By nationalizing the oil well, do u mean he will take the oil well from his brothers and return it to the Niger Deltans and other regions ??
trillville:
Buhari may nationalize the oil wells. This singular act will return the wealth of our nation back to Nigerians and away from a few thieving hands.

I hope this makes sense to u.

"I will fight corruption" has always been the watch words of the old general but my problem is, he has not given us a clue on how he intends achieving that. Is he only telling us what we wld love to hear or has he an elaborate plans. Plz those that have a clue on this issue shld comment and help me solve the puzzle cos I am making up my mind on who will get my vote.Let's go there.
