Has any other person gotten interview yet? also for those who have been through the system successfully. What advice can you give me? aside documents listed on US embassy website, is there any other document i need to have incase?

Good morning folks please i need your advice
I got married to a usa citizen and she has filed for my spouse visa. It will take probably 2 years before i get to usa. I did my Bsc in computer science and MBA here in Nigeria. From my research Data science, data analysis and business analysis is a good career path in usa and i want to focus on it so that when i get there i can get a good job and support my family. Please is there anyone into those career path? I need your advice. While waiting here in Nigeria should i do a usa Masters program online in data science or i wait till i get there? Or i take some professional certification? I kindly need your advice. Anyone doing those courses?

Please these dates you guys are talking about. Is it for k1 applicants only or also for visiting visa applicants too? Cos i heard that the appointment date is now 2024 on the usa visit thread.

Nobody will be able to type the step-by-step procedure of how to obtain an IR1 visa here.
You and your spouse have a big role to play in this process.
Visa agents or immigration lawyers are not required to process this visa category.
You and your spouse need to start doing research specifically on IR1 visa.

Congratulations about your marriage. 2019 is a long time and you haven't try to figure out how you can do yyour filing even if you aren't ready then. Well it's never late to start. You can go to visajourney dot com to see some guidelines on what you need to do and how you need to file the I-130 form. Also you can check on youtube and type " how to file I-130 spousal form. With this you will learn alot on what you need to submit along. Lastly you can read previous discussions on this thread. Goodluck sir

Please I want to ask a question. I am planning a court wedding and my fiancée is coming from USA. Ikoyi registry require her to get single status affidavit. Where can she get that in USA?

I’m asking this question on behalf of my fiancée. She is a USA citizen and she is coming to Nigeria for us to eat married. I wanted to register for the court wedding online and one of the requirement from her is an affidavit of single status. Please who know where she can get that from? Thanks for your response

NOT DATE . u have to meet in person once or twice in 2 years window b4 filling. U can start the process u r gud to go….for example u Meet last month 31- MAY- 2022 if u did not file 4rm last month to 31-May-2024 . U have to met again..

I think you are wrong on that statistics. I think K1 applicants have 90% chances while CR1 should be around 98%. If you are genuine ooooo and all being equal

It doesn’t have to elaborate wedding. It is your choice. Just make sure you take some pictures with the people with you guys at the court. I’m also doing my court wedding next month before she file in

I tot it is the immigration department that determine where to send your application to. Even if you file at Nebraska, it doesn’t mean they will process it there. Or am I wrong?

What determine whether it will be CR1 or IR1 is it at the time you are granted visa or at the port of entry? I have a friend who will go for his interview 30 days to his second marriage anniversary. He want to see how he can wait till when his marriage will be 2 years before appearing so he can just get IR1. He don wait for long sef so make he just wait to get it. What do you think guys?
