First of all each relationship is different so you guys are the ones that will sit down and look at things and make a decision whether you will go for K1 or CR1. But i prefer spousal visa than fiance visa. Like i said it is a personal thing.
Secondly you have to be a A - student of usa immigrant process. All you need is right here on the internet. With Google you will learn alot about the process. Infact if you will spend some time to research about the process, timeframe, what to file and how to file those form, you won't need a lawyer to help you on anything. Then if you have questions on something that you aren't clear about people can help you with it. Nobody will start to spoon feed you on basic thing.

Once you or ur sponsor is able to displayevidence of money to pay your 1st year tuition and the embassy can verify that u should not have any issue with ur visa.

PhD prospective students re' those who actually have to agitate for fundings because they need absolute focus on their study n they have very little hours to work outside study. Undergraduates n msc applicants whose sponsor can display enough tuition funds does not need fundings n infact most int- student application usually ask if you need scholarship or not. Cheers.

I always wanted biracial kids and a pretty Caucasian wife but I haven't been lucky finding someone from another race or country and I'm at that age(30s) where you have to get married like asap, tried social media and they all found it creepy, sometimes they read my text and don't reply, some block me instantly and to be honest I don't blame them due to our international reputation.

Don't talk about looks because I don't look bad and I have seen so many instances where those girls fall in love with guys that are nothing close to handsome, they're not like our naija babes, but getting one is the problem.

I don't think anything is wrong in having a desire for biracial kids. But my concern is are you looking for someone to love or someone to help you japa from nigetia via marriage. If it is the former then you don't need to limit your looking to caucasian ladies. Marry to build a godly home and kids. Infact you might have a lady close to you right now trying to get you attention but since your mind is already fixated on oyinbo, you may miss God's best. My wife is an American. We met through my Aunty who lives in usa. I never for once in my life desire to marry an American. No desperation while we dating. I was just trusting God for a life partner and gbam i giot the most amazing lady i ever met. I wonder how people come online to ask question about their personal life or what they should do with their future. You're the one who can decide on what you want in life not counselors from social media. What do you want in life? What is your vision, purpose of living etc? These are ways you make a well thought decision about your future. Not everyone will japa. Some will succeed here in Nigeria. So decide and and stop disturbing people who does know your gender, family, background, education, religion etc with all these kind of question. Be careful of these lawyers some of them don’t know how to get to the root cause and offer the best remedy they will just take your money for things you can do yourself if you use the right tools and do a lot of research. The free immigration advice people give here and some other platforms are even better than getting a lawyer sometimes, we’ve seen cases where lawyers complicate a very easy case and cases where it was handled appropriately, not all lawyers know about immigration issues like this and not all immigration lawyers know how to deal with embassies and uscis So be careful!!
I’m still very sure if you do your research, go to the right platforms, post your case there don’t be ashamed and don’t cover up, people that have had similar issues and experience will advice you exactly what to do and you wouldn’t have to pay a lawyer but if you have some money to spend you can go ahead, all I know is your case has a solution.

Firdt of all i'm not the person involved in the case. I only suggest what she or she can do. Secondly i agree with your point that there are some attorney who can complicate issues for someone but there are still some who are expert in cases like this. Thry deal with immigration fraud matters and there are many on youtube. Better still the person involved can post the matter on visa journey. They have experts there who can advice ger3on what to do but from similar cases i have read there, thry always advice you get an immigration attorney who can careful look into thr case and suggest a way out.

Don't complicate your issue. Getting a divorce paper that you never married in the first place is an issue itself. Once your husband get a response from uscis your lawyer will tell you what to do. They know now that you never married in the first place.

I had a child out of wed luck in 2016.
In 2019 I applied for a students visa. Scared that I will be denied for being single, I chose "Common Law Marriage" and added my boyfriend's name as a spouse (I know, Big Mistake). The visa got denied, we broke up, I forgot all about it. The child was not added on this application.

Fast forward 2020, I got married to an American Citizen here in Nigeria and he filed an I-130 for me. We went through the NVC process for myself as the wife of a USC and my child as the stepchild of a USC. Everything was approved and we were scheduled for an interview this month. When we got there, the officer was nice and friendly and I gave all my documents. She looked at it and then all of a sudden, sent me to another officer.

The new person I was sent to started asking me questions about my former spouse and that was when I remembered. (I know, so stupid) I said we were engaged to be married but it didn't work out. So he went inside and came out with the white paper stating that my application has been refused under 221g. The agent then told me to tell my husband to call Immigration in the US to get this resolved. My husband has called immigration but they said they haven't received any communication from Lagos regarding our case.

My question now is.

Is it possible to get this resolved?
How long is this process of resolving this going to take?
Should I just forget about this and relocate to another country and try to get to the US from there?

I'm just so confused, sad and depressed.

You really made a big mistake. It is called misrepresentation in US law. Did they tell you that they denied your visa or revoked it? What they will do is to send your application back to uscis. It usually take 6 to 12 months for them to send it back. Your husband will get mail in regards to it. Sorry about the whole issue. It is a long wait. Of course you guys can appeal but i will advice you guys to get immigration lawyer to help you resolve it.

When it comes to immigration there is nothing like fastest. You need alot of patience. Your best option is to file CR1 that is immediate relative. A spouse of an American citizen. You guys need to do alot of research about how to file. It is easy but you just need to pay attention to details while filling the form. Some good resources you can use are youtube, Google, visajourneydotcom, also join facebook group on usa CR1/IR1 immigrant. This thread is for fiance visa so you won't get much info here. Good luck

Pregnancy is not a reason for expediting application but you can give it a try.

Hi guys, my fiancée was supposed to have a interview today after we rescheduled the original one in the CGI portal, she then went to the embassy this morning and was told that her name wasn't on the list of people who were having their interviews today meaning that the embassy stuck with the first interview date which has already passed. She didn't end up having her interview because they wouldn't acknowledge today's appointment. My question is has anyone ever experienced this? It's so frustrating and I'm not sure what to do at this point. Any advice would be appreciated. Thanks

Like i always tell people, don't reschedule your visa appointment. I have seen similar case with someone in one platform. Kindly email the emabssy amd explajn youe case to them. Thry might ask you to rebook for another or they get you a date.

Your question sound like you don't have any idea what k1 is all about. Well the starting point is for you to using google. There are thousands of information online about how to start k1 application. Then if you encounter challenges you can ask questions from those who have gone ahead. No one will spoonfeed you on how to start your application. Just reading from the first page to the last page of this thread will answer 75% of your question. Wake up and get to work.

Virgin Island is part of US territory and there is no special visa to get there. If you have a usa visa you can go there but you have to reach mainland usa before boarding. There's no 1 year visa. Scammer will defraud you guys cos of your ignorant. Atleast use google small naw to do research and stop being a fool.

Hi guys, i finally had my interview this week, everything went smoothly and successfully, my spousal visa already issued and ready for pickup at Dhl office.

Questions asked :

1. Who filed for you? My wife

2. How did you meet?

3. How many times has she visited since you got married?

4. When was the last time you saw her?

5. Has she been married before?

6. Have you been married?

7. How old are her children?

8. Do they live with her?

9. Have you travelled outside Nigeria before?

10. Let me see Tax return document .... Ohhh i dont think you have it, go get it and upload it, , and also submit it with your passport at Dhl office, by doing so i will close your case.
NB: Guys, i left the premises with smiles cos i knew my Visa iss already here, waited for my wife to wake so that she can send the correct Tax return. Perhaps, i went to dhl office to submit the tax docs and my passport that same day, in 2 days time my status started showing AP, in less than 12hrs, it shhowed Visa issued, in less than 2 hrs, i recieved email that my passport is ready for Pickup at Dhl office. That's it guys. Let God take all the glory, after a long wait and delays, the outcome was successful and cheering😊.

You can ask questions if you want, i will also give some hints with regards to pattern fquestions the COs were asking different applicants. Make sure you frontload your file with enough evidence to prove your marriage is real. Pls, mind how you tell the CO that you met your spouse via faceboook or social media, they twnd to drill the applicant with cocky questions , just be mindful on how you answer your questions, it will either make your interview short and brief or tedious and lengthy.
