Hi guys,

It's your favorite writer...Kayemjay. A grandmaster of thriller and suspense literature.

So I decided to start writing again...albeit flash fiction. So permit me to thrill your eyes and tantalize your brains with short pieces you will read in a flash! Pun intended.

Here we go!

Me its "an evening with eva and Firewall"

I'm sorry about that please.

There are two ways to read the stories.

First method
1. Go to the menu and click on books
2. Choose the book you desire(firewall or AEWE)
3. Choose your chapter. The chapters are arranged from last to first. By Monday l wil rectify this

Second method
1. From the home page, click on the story you want. Scroll down to the end of the story and click on chapter 2.

I hope this helps.

Hello Kay. Just came across your stories. Your previews are good but I can't seem to navigate your blog even with a computer. You may need to put the stories in sections where all episodes will be listed accordingly and rearrange the blog. The point is, please make your blog more accessible to readers. Thanks and continue the good work.

Hello dearie. Thanks for the feedback. I'm going to look into that. However could you please be more specific as to the story you are looking for:?

It would help.

Thank you.

Thank you so much for viewing my blog. I apologize for the late response. Permit me to answer your questions:

They actually are not please. They are arranged in descending order, from last update down to first update. To properly navigate however, I suggest you use the Menu bar, then click on "books" to choose which story you want to read please.

paafin:
More so, I couldn't find Chapters 5-15 of the TCA...

I am sorry about this. This happened because the updates are a lot so the site can not show all at once. Just under Chapter 5, you will see a small button labeled, "show more". Once you click that, it shows the remaining episodes.

I hope I have been able to answer your questions please.

Thank you.

CHAPTER 11 - REUNION

Hakeem walked into a very spacious room. The door closed automatically behind him the moment he stepped in. He studied the room closely; high ceiling, single entry and exit, wide walls and a damp smell. He had barely taken in the sights when the lights went off and everywhere went dark. He had an idea what was coming. Once upon a time, he had trained hard at blocking off one or two senses to enhance the others. This was no easy task as it came with a lot of patience and concentration. He could not see anything as it was pitch black but he could feel presence. He could not tell how many people were in the room with him but he knew they were not there to present him with gifts. Sensei had probably found out that he had this sort of skill and wanted to know for sure if it was true. He had come this far and was not about to go back now. The boss wanted a performance, he was going to get a show.

A punch landed on his chin. The pain ripped through his brain as he struggled to get his balance. He staggered to the ground and pushed himself up with his right hand. He took several steps, making sure he kept moving. He paced gingerly on his toes in haphazard directions, moving randomly to get a proper feel of how many people he had to deal with. He was expecting another blow but none had yet hit him. He was moving in circles getting accustomed to the room and identifying vibes from the hostiles in the room. There was a kick to his back, the force pushing him on the floor making him spiral until he hit a wall. He felt the wall and noticed that it had a rough surface. He recalled that when he first stepped into the room the side walls had a different texture to the other walls. This made him know where he was.
He got up, dashed to the centre of the room and waited. His hands were held up in an attacking stance ready for his next move. He had done some calculation and now had a rough estimate of how many people he had to deal with.

Someone came and stood directly in front of him. For seconds both men did not move. Hakeem was baiting. The man was taunting. Then it happened. The man launched a right punch at Hakeem’s throat but he weaved to the right, caught the man’s arm and twisted with all his might. The man yelped in pain. Still holding on to the man’s hand, Hakeem pulled the man closer and gave him a left punch in the jugular. As the man fell, he heard a plastic sound around the man’s body so he bent in the darkness and groped the man, looking for what the sound was. All the while, Hakeem kept his ears peeled for any sound or movement that indicated attack.

Hakeem touched the man all round and found something around his face. It was a night vision goggle. He unlocked it, put it around his head and was now able to see everything around him. There were three men and one woman surrounding him all wearing night vision goggles. Now he knew how they were able to see and attack him.

“Don’t be shy my friends. Now that I can see that you are just a bunch of kids, I will be gentle.” He taunted.

The four of them came at Hakeem simultaneously. In a combination of kicks, punches and a flurry of brilliant moves, they were all lying on the floor, writhing in pain. He approached the lady and picked her up with the intention of making an example of her when the door opened and the lights came back on.

“Enough, Hakeem. Time for your final test.”

It was Sensei. Even though he was happy at Hakeem’s performance, he wore a grimace that made it look as if he was displeased. Hakeem dropped the lady, pulled off the goggle, and stormed out of the room.

Stella moved into the bedroom, taking up a vantage position between the bed and the door. Her brother had given the go and she had done exactly as instructed. Now all they had to do was wait for the game to step into the trap.
There was a knock on the door, a pause and then another knock. Stella remained quiet, still, unmoving. The door opened and the man walked in, taking slow and deliberate steps. Timilehin looked around wondering why he was not met by a familiar face. She had sounded eager to meet him, more eager than their previous meetings so it felt awkward that she was not there to welcome him. He waited and listened for sounds. Nothing from the bathroom or kitchen. He immediately knew that something was wrong. Timilehin’s instincts were razor sharp. In his training and experienced, he knew that calling out her name was a bad idea so he doubled back and signalled to the two guards assigned to him. He directed one to the bathroom and the other one to the kitchen, while he took the bedroom.

Gun drawn from his hip, he walked slowly and quietly towards Stella.

Chapter Nine - Time To Kill

Steven pulled a chair and sat in front of a wounded Biodun. They had fifteen minutes until they moved out and he planned to make the most of the situation. Mr. Raymond was standing at the gate keeping watch just in case there was cause to quickly take cover or look for a different exit. He was also standing on the lookout for Stella’s arrival. James monitored the cameras and networks, listening for anything that might spell danger for Steven and Raymond. So far, the coast was clear. Biodun held his injured leg groaning in pain. The wound was patched up but had begun to bleed slowly. He would survive albeit with a lot of pain.

“Biodun, listen to me. This can go either one of two ways. You can die here and everything you have worked for would be for nothing. Or, you can tell me what I want to know, give me all the information I need and I will strike a deal with you. I have the best hacker and IT genius as my right hand man. In exchange for your cooperation, we will give you a new identity and relocate you to a place where you can never be reached. I plan to take down ShadowCorp and when I do, you can come back. So, what do you say?”

“I will tell you whatever you need to know.”

“Good. Where is ShadowCorp’s headquarters?”

“I have no idea. Only top level lieutenants are privy to access that information.”

“What is ShadowCorp’s next mission and why are they targeting Mr Raymond?”

“I honestly don’t know. I only follow orders and act as I am instructed without asking questions.”

“So what do you actually know? So far all you have given me is zilch.” Steven barked, with obvious rage in his eyes.

“I am already in enough trouble as it is for speaking with you at all. The only times I have seen another top level agent with my boss is on Saturday’s when he comes to pick her for a certain meeting.”

“Where does she live? What’s her name?”

“Her name is Jessica. We call her Miss Jay. She stays at 17, Victoria Street Ogudu GRA. That is all I know.”

Steven was about to ask another question when Mr. Raymond popped in.

“Our ride is here.” Raymond said.

“You need to grab every device you can find, every bullet casing, gun, anything I can do a trace on.” James said into Steven’s earpiece.

“Roger that.” Steven replied.

Raymond and Steven moved room after room, taking everything they thought could be important. When they were done, they started to head out leaving Biodun behind. The bleeding on his leg had gotten worse.

“You said you were going to help me. Don’t leave me please.” Biodun begged.

Steven walked back to where Biodun sat on the floor, pulled out his Silverballer and pointed it at his head.

“Sorry. I lied.” He said and pulled the trigger.

“What did you do that for? He helped us!” James said into Steven’s ears.

“He was going to die anyways. I just saved him from having a slow and painful death. Besides, the day we begin to have pity on ShadowCorp is the day we forget our mission. Let’s stay on the path. These guys do not deserve pity.”

“So how do we get the information we need?”

“That’s what we have you for James. See you soon.” Steven finished. He pulled out the device from his ear and walked with Raymond to the gate where Stella was waiting in a Chevrolet Camaro. She ignored Steven’s greeting and asked how Raymond was faring. He simply nodded. After dropping all they had taken from the house in the trunk, Stella refused to allow Steven in the passenger seat but signalled for Mr Raymond to come instead.

Doors closed, Stella sped off into the distance.

Hakeem knocked on the gate of a huge two storey building. It was his third time visiting so he was no longer as surprised and awed as he was when he first came. The first time, he was taken aback at how one man could live in such a big place all by himself. Being currently out of work, he hoped that a man who owned such an edifice could find it in his heart to put him in his employ. So the meetings had dragged and he had been treated like family. He hoped that this time, the meeting would yield tangible results.

He knocked on the gate again.

“Usman!” he shouted

There was a shuffle, sound of feet and then metal clanging at the gate.

“Who is that?”

“Usman, you had better open this gate at once. What’s your problem?”

“Ah, Oga. I no know say na you o. Abeg no vex” Usman apologized as he unlocked the padlock and opened the gate.

Hakeem stepped into the now familiar compound. “Oga dey around?”

“Yes. He dey inside.”

As Hakeem walked to the main door, he turned his head just in time to see a lady come out from the gateman’s quarters and run outside. Hakeem just smiled to himself. It was not his business what Usman used his time for. He just hoped that Usman was careful enough to be discreet about his improper activities to avoid getting sacked. He let himself into the house and found his way into the waiting area, where he sat and waited for Sensei.

“Good morning Sensei. I hope I am not too early.”

“You are just in time Hakeem. I have to be somewhere in thirty minutes so it’s a good thing you are here. Take this.” Sensei said, handing him an envelope.

Hakeem, opened the envelope in anticipation of

Chapter Six - Espionage

Mr Idris had taken three sniffs of cocaine. He was now carefree, without a worry in the world and free of any inhibitions. He staggered to the refrigerator, got out a pack of yoghurt and gulped half the contents in one go. He knew that he had over indulged but it could not be helped at the time. He had crossed the line and could not go back. The only thing he could do was see this moment of decadence to its end.

He was about to dial a number on the intercom when there was a knock on his door. He ignored it. He was not expecting anyone. The knocking persisted and it infuriated Mr Idris. His emotions were now heightened and he was feeling everything three times more than normal.

“Who is that?” He barked.

“My name is Blessing. Aunty Mariam sent me.” A female voice said.

The voice was silky and captivating. He decided to see for himself who the lady at the door was. If she looked as good as she sounded, then he would make her do things to him he onl y dreamed about. He slowly found his feet and walked gingerly to the door. Looking into the peephole, he saw a light skinned beauty, petite, and blessed in places he loved. She was looking sideways but he could see her lips and they were exactly the way he liked them, large and wide. He unlocked the door and opened it.

“Blessing. Hmmm…You said Mariam sent you?” he asked standing at the door and looking at her lustfully.

“Yes sir. She asked me to come and keep you company in case you wanted anything.”

“That is nice of her. Come in then”

Blessing walked into the room, swaying her hips provocatively. She saw the way he had been staring at her and could feel his eyes on her monstrous behind. Blessing had always been aware of her charms since she came of age and she always knew how to use her body to her advantage. She also knew when to be forceful, coy, or bold. She had her instructions and she was going to follow them to the letter.

Joining her on the bed, Mr Idris paid compliments to her. After minutes of small talk, he touched her hair, cheeks and felt her palms. Satisfied, he lay spread eagled on the bed and beckoned to her.

“Come and show me why you are Mariam’s favorite girl.”

She obliged and then after a bit of kissing, she stopped.

“Why? What’s wrong Blessing?”

“You are sticky all over. It’s making me uncomfortable.”

“Let me grab a shower. I will be right back.” Mr Idris said. He rushed off the bed and undressed at light speed before going into the bathroom.

As soon as Blessing heard the shower run, she sprinted off the bed and went to the television. There was a palm size desk clock on the table beside the television. She took the clock, put it in her bag and then tip toed to the door. Taking care not to make a sound, she unlocked the door and stepped out of Mr. Idris’ room, leaving the door slightly open.

“Blessing, I think you should join me here. The water is so nice.” Mr. Idris said oblivious of what had just happened. He finished up and came into the room still talking.

“I know you are shy. Don’t worry…” he was saying when he took the towel off his face and realized the room was empty. He looked at the door and saw it open. Fearing the worst, he checked his suitcase and found that his money had not been touched. He checked his pant pockets and found his debit cards intact. Next, he picked his phones and checked the account balance from his different banks. There was no suspicious activity.

He moved to the safe, put in the code and checked the content of the cocaine. It was just the way he left it. He was confused. So why did she just leave? Nothing was missing, and he had not done anything to her. Still looking for answers, he dialed the intercom for Mariam. After three rings there was a click.

“Mariam, what is the meaning of this?”

“Mr. Idris it is clear that you are very upset about something. Please tell me what the problem is, so that I can do something about it.”

“You sent Blessing to my room, to get cozy and leave me high and dry? What kind of joke is that?”

“I have no idea what you are talking about.”

“You have no idea that Blessing came to my room? Or you have no idea that you sent her to toy with me?”

“Mr Idris, we do not have any Blessing working here. If I wanted to send someone to you, I would have asked your permission first or even told you about it.”

“Jeez! Someone was here barely five minutes ago. Beautiful and all. Said her name was Blessing and that you sent her.”

“Mr Idris, I am coming up. This is serious.” She finished and hung up.

She went to Mr. Idris’ room and he narrated everything the way it happened. It all sounded confusing as nothing added up. She showed him all the girls in her employ from her phone, asking him to identify Blessing, but her picture was not there. After talking at length, Mariam got up to leave when her eye caught something.

“The desk clock on the table, did you move it?” she asked. Mr. Idris turned his attention to the table and realized that truly the clock was not there anymore. He had particularly taken note of the clock when he first came into the room and checked the time.

“I saw the clock when I got in here. What would the girl need the clock for?” Mr Idris asked.

“I do not know. I will check the surveillance cameras and notify you when something comes up.”

“Thank you.”

Mr Idris who had been high was now as sober as a baby. He had no idea who the girl was, what she wanted, or why she had come to him and retrieved a meaningless clock. The earlier the girl was found, the sooner he would be at ease. Only one thing was on his mind at the moment: getting as far away from Mariam’s place as quickly as he could. He hurriedly dressed, checked the room for anything he may have forgotten and dashed out of the place.

Outside Mariam’s place was a black tinted van parked three houses away. Blessing had changed her clothes and was sitting beside the driver, waiting. They had been instructed to wait until there was news from Mariam’s place. When the gate opened and Mr Idris sped off in his car, they knew that the mission had been a success.

“He is leaving the premises now sir. What are your instructions?” the driver asked.

“Do you have the package?” Julius asked.

CHAPTER 9 - Recruiting Hakeem

On this wet and chilly evening, Hakeem walked into Bar Extreme in Lekki Phase One. This particular suburb was famous for its super exclusive standard of living tailored towards the high and mighty. It had been raining all day reducing the amount of traffic that would normally congest Admiralty Road. Hakeem worked as a drone operator for a media firm. He was supposed to shoot a video of the third mainland bridge for a documentary but the downpour confined him to his house. He was already grumpy when he entered the bar and needed some alcohol to cool off.

The bar was dimly lit, bright enough to see where you were going but dark enough to conceal the numerous faces in the lounge. He paused as he shut the door behind him, taking in the scenery and deciding where would be the most private spot he could relax and have a drink all by himself. As he looked around, the DJ switched the music sending everyone into a wild groovy frenzy. Well, almost everyone. Hakeem was unmoved. He was in fact appalled to say the least. There was a group of about ten to twelve people dancing in the middle of bar, grinding against each other. He moved among the crowd until he found a corner where the music was less loud and the activity was not disturbing. Settling into a chair, he signalled to a waiter to make his order.

“Captain Black, please. On the rocks. Medium size” he said to the waiter who nodded and walked away.

Hakeem took out his phone from the pocket of his blazer to see seven missed calls. The calls were from his girlfriend, his boss and a hidden number. He made a mental note to return the calls in the morning. His drink arrived as he returned the phone. Settling his bulk comfortably in his chair and poured himself a glass. He sipped the contents of his glass gently, while looking round and taking in the sights of the bar. The DJ switched to R&B and the crowd on the dance floor reduced to a few couples. He was not surprised. It happened almost all the time. He was finishing his drink when a young lady came to where he sat. She smelled good and looked appealing. He could not make out her face, but from what he saw, Hakeem knew she was the kind of girl he would like. But on this day, Hakeem was in no mood for revelries. He just wanted to drink and go home.

“Hello handsome. Can I have some of what you are drinking?” she said, sitting next to him.

“I don’t remember saying you could sit.” Hakeem replied curtly.

“Oh, I see we have a macho here.” She responded. She took his glass, poured herself some of his drink and drained the glass in one gulp.

“Ah…strong! Just how I like it.” She finished and winked.

Hakeem grinned and wondered what the lady was doing flirting with him. She was not a call girl that much he could tell. She was decently dressed, looking more corporate than casual. On any other day Hakeem would have towed her line, taken her cue and they would probably be heading towards his place. However, he was not in the right frame of mind for what she was offering so he gave her no encouragement. She spoke to him some more, touching him as she flirted.

Out of nowhere, a mean looking man approached his table. He was at least 6.5 feet tall, had bulging biceps and the frame of a body builder. He wore a menacing look as he stopped in front of Hakeem.

“How dare you talk to my girl?” He quizzed, his fiery red eyes blazing in anger. He yanked the lady roughly from beside Hakeem and slapped her.

“Hey dude! That is no way to treat a lady. Where the hell did you get your home training from?” Hakeem said, standing up.

“First you try to take my girl, and now you have the guts to insult my parents?” He said flinging the girl away from him and facing Hakeem. He whistled softly and three men who had a body size just like his appeared from the darkness, menacingly dangerous.

“Look brother. I don’t want any trouble. I came here to have a drink and be on my way. I am sorry for talking to your girl. The next round is on me.” Hakeem said, his hands raised in surrender.

“It’s a little too late for that dude. You mess with me, you get a lesson. Boys, handle him.” The man ordered.

They rushed at Hakeem instantly, hitting him from all sides. He defended himself by covering his face, with his arms buckled around his ribs. He did not hit back. He just crouched, absorbing all the hits. The leader of the thugs went back to his girlfriend, picked her from the ground where she was sobbing, and slapped her. Twice in quick succession. Hakeem got angry.

He grabbed one of the thugs by the arm as he tried to lay a punch, twisted the arm and then punched him in the throat. The thug staggered backwards, gasping for air. Hakeem got to his feet, backing away slowly from the second thug who had grabbed a bottle from a table and broken it, using the base as a weapon. As Hakeem backed away he slowly took out his belt, folding it around his right fist. The thug ran at Hakeem, waving the broken bottle threateningly. Hakeem stood fast and waited for the right time. As the thug made to cut Hakeem with the broken bottle, Hakeem weaved slightly to the side, and punched the thug’s arm with his belt covered fist with the broken bottle falling to the ground. Hakeem then let out a series of one arm punches to the face of the thug with the belt covered fist. He held himself back when the thug fell, scattering tables, his face covered with blood.

The thug leader seeing that his goons were down, grabbed the lady by the arm and pulled her out of the bar. Hakeem held himself back from going after them. They were not his business. He felt blood in his mouth. There was a cut on his lower lip. He sat back down and grabbed his bottle. He was getting out of the place. He was almost at the door when the waiter caught up with him, informing him that he was yet to pay. He brought out his debit card and made to slot it into the POS when someone said from behind,

“Put it on my tab”

Hakeem walked back to thank the person who paid for his drink.

“Thank you very much. At least something good came out of this fracas.” Hakeem said stretching out his hand. The man shook his hand and nodded. The man wore an expensive white shirt tucked into a pair of pants. His blazer was hung on the chair on which he sat. He looked important, rich.

“My name is Hakeem.”

“Nice to meet you Hakeem. You can call me Sensei. Do you need a ride?”

“I would not mind at all, Sensei.”

Stay tuned.

CHAPTER FIVE - Love VS Duty

Kevin yawned for the umpteenth time. He hated this job. He had been doing just one thing for the past few hours: staring at computer screens. His loop module had never failed him before. He regularly tweaked it, altering its boot mode and carefully adjusting its vulnerability. He knew staring at the screens would not yield any fruit but he had to do it anyway. It was what his boss wanted. He liked the CEO, Mr Efosa. He had begun to see the man as a father figure. The impression he had about him after their first meeting had stuck. He had a strong feeling he was going to enjoy working with Mr. Efosa despite having a past he desperately did not want getting leaked.

He was not comfortable with Mr Julius. He had prying eyes and seemed to be able to see beyond the obvious. His gut told him that he had to be careful with the lawyer. To make matters worse, he was a Senior Advocate! Kevin felt a chill run down his spine. He was no fool. He was called in to work despite being told to resume the next week. He was introduced to someone who he had never met before but who happened to know everything he did. These were not coincidences. He did not need a crystal ball to tell him he was being watched and that freaked him out. He needed to get his mind straight. Picking his phone, he opened BBM and sent a message.

“Hey babe. Work’s dull. Busy much?”

Almost immediately, Ogho responded. “Not at all. Just staring at a few screens. I am running a triangulation sequence.”

“At least you are getting your mind to work. What are you trying to locate?”

“A very tiny plankton in the Atlantic.”

“Come on, you can tell me.” Kevin pressed

“Kev, not telling you what I do or where I work is for your own good. It is for your protection. I put away bad guys every day. Bringing you into the loop puts you at risk. We have been through this a few times.”

“I know dear. I know. I am just so bored right here I fear I will go crazy. I just need some distraction.”

“Alright then. There was an intrusion in our firewall…the triangulation is to detect where the hack came from.” Ogho typed.

“Oh no. I hope it is not that serious. When did the hack happen? You know that the trail goes cold if you don’t act quickly?”

“I know Kev. It’s less than 48 hours. I will nab the culprit. And that’s all I can tell you. So what did you want to talk to me about last night?”

Kevin was about to type when it hit him. It was his girlfriend’s organization he had hacked into. He kept analysing the facts in his head and the more he thought about it the clearer it got. He was in a fix. He needed to be sure his mind was not playing tricks on him so he decided to try something.

“Yes, I wanted to talk to you about how the interview at the new job went.” Kevin typed. He dropped his phone, moved a keyboard close to him and began to type strings of code onto a dark screen. He opened a socket to his algorithm and watched to see if Ogho would notice. He picked his phone.

“You sounded excited. I am happy for you dear. That is one of the reasons I wanted us to meet today so we can celebrate and talk about it. Oh my God, I got a hit!” Ogho typed.

Kevin’s heart jumped into his mouth. His fears were confirmed. He now knew for certain that it was the Federal Financial Regulatory Authority he had hacked. The reality of his crime was staring him in the face. What he had gotten himself into? He wondered. He was not so bothered about his girlfriend. She was a very good hacker but she was the white hat type. He was always a few steps ahead of her even while they were at the Hackademy. What bothered him was that he had stepped on the tail of a Federal agency with unlimited resources.

He watched from his screen as Ogho tried to access his location, code after code. After watching for close to a minute and deciding he had seen enough, he blocked the socket he had opened, effectively locking Ogho out.

“Baby can we talk later?” Ogho asked.

“Take all the time you need. Will come to yours as planned.” Kevin responded. He dropped his phone and left the server room. He stomped his way to the CEO’s office and asked to be let in. He did not wait for an answer, walking to the door and letting himself into the office. Efosa and Julius were sitting adjacent each other going over some documents. They looked up at the same time to see a furious Kevin standing in front of them.

“Why was I not told that I would be hacking a federal agency?” Kevin bellowed angrily.

Efosa and Julius looked at each other, and then back at Kevin. After seconds of awkward silence, Julius stood up, buttoning his jacket.

“Are you familiar with how soldiers in the army are expected to act?” Julius asked. Without waiting for an answer, he continued. “Soldiers are given orders. They are expected in all conditions to follow the orders given no matter what they are. They do not question their commander, neither do they second guess their orders. They swear an oath and they are bound by it.”

“I don’t see how that has anything to do with me sir. I am not a member of the army.” Kevin replied, his face still contorted with rage.

“Let me spell it out for you Kevin. In your desperation to land a job with a juicy organization, you are now neck deep in whatever has been done as much as Efosa here and even those above him in rank. So instead of coming here bellowing like a wounded lion, you need to keep a clear head and put that awesome brain of yours to good use.” Julius finished.

He was standing right in front of Kevin, waiting for a reaction. Kevin was not as furious as he was a few minutes earlier. His anger had now been replaced with confusion and uncertainty. He looked at his CEO for backup but the look on Efosa’s face told him he was barking up the wrong tree.

“The IT specialist on the other side is one of the very best and I find it almost impossible seeing a way past him.” Kevin said

“Her, you mean. Ogho Ubabike. 26, lives at 4, Mercy Eneli street surulere, graduated with honors from the prestigious University of Ife, top of her class, and second overall best at the Hackademy UK. She came second after one Kevin John Etukudo. You don’t happen to know him do you? Julius asked sarcastically and continued. “Oh, one more thing. We know she is your girlfriend. So suck it up and do the needful.”

“Was this why you employed me? Just because I have a relationship with someone on the other side of your battle?” Kevin asked.

Efosa stood from his chair. He walked across the opposite side of Julius, stopped in front of Kevin, pulled a chair and sat.

“We only got to know about Ogho last night during damage control. You were hired because of your wonderful skills. It saddens me to put you in this position Kev, it really does, but here we are. Take my candid advice: suck it up and be a man. You are now a major player in this much as we all are. If you do not take control of the situation, your life last week would be paradise compared to what will happen to you. So you can either join the pride and take on every challenge as a team or be a lone duck, waiting to be finished.” Efosa said.

Kevin sat on a free chair lost in thought. Although his gaze was on the Mona Lisa hung on the wall, he was not seeing the picture. He was a million miles away in the universe of thought. He saw reason with what his boss had said. If he refuses to cooperate,

Have bsc chemistry but have never thought in primary school. Can I still apply and how do I do dat

Experience is key but you can give it a shot. Who knows, you may be accepted in some capacity or the other.

Just give it a shot.

Why I can give you this information is that my friend and former colleague now heads this school. And she has asked me to help source for qualified and experienced hires. But who knows, you may just have a quality that the team is looking for.

It is not GNLD. It is very popular practice for employers to outsource their recruiting process. I do not blame you though. It is what this country has turned into.

I already explained that the school is brand new and huge. Qualifications and positions were stated. If you do not qualify, at least you wont bother applying. How much more information do you need?

Do not discourage other people with you baseless claims.
