Family / Scary And Mysterious Experiences by kayemjay(m): 12:07pm On Dec 23, 2016 |
Hello guys, You will agree with me that this world is full of strange mysteries. Lets compile certain scary experiences one has had or heard been told. Let me start with the one I just heard a few days ago. An okada man carried a very endowed lady in Aba. The guy loves carrying only ladies cos he loves speeding and braking. Whenever he breaks the lady's full asset will hit him from the back, those where his aim. This faithfull day he was making conversation with her and was doing what he loved best, speeding then apply brakes and her body would touch him. The Okada man in his own words said, he was speaking with the lady and braked then turned around to look at his passenger, she smiled at him so he sped off again only for him to look back again at the lady he was talking to and she was no more sitting behind him. He said he thought she fell so he turned around to look but only after he arrived at where he first picked her that he knew she was not human. He started screaming and shouting for help and people gathered. angry That was when I past by and overheard what was being said. Guys feel free to share yours too, lets build a compendium of weird stories |

Steven checked his wristwatch. It had been three minutes since Stella shot James and she was still hovered upon him, making sure his vitals were strong. There was worry written all over her face as she feared that the worst would happen if she left him alone. Steven put a hand on her shoulder. “James will be fine. You took a great shot. We have to hurry. They will be here any minute.” He said “We could have done this in a different way. What if he doesn’t wake up? What if I had missed?” “Sister, we don’t have time to argue about this right now. You trust me don’t you?” Stella looked up at her brother and nodded feebly. “I give you my word. He will not die. Now we need to attend to our visitors. I cannot do this without you.” Steven said. He had barely finished speaking when an alarm went off on both their wrist watches simultaneously. “They are here. We have to move, now!” Steven barked. His countenance had changed. It seemed a new being had taken him over. He moved away from Stella, grabbed his twin silverballers and passed the Glock17 to his sister. They moved out of the hut and walked north of the hut, as far away from James as possible. A few minutes later, they came to a different shed. Steven pulled out two night goggles and handed one to Stella. They were at a vantage point and could see both entry and exit points of the beach. With their backs glued againt one another, the pair waited. But they did not wait for long. A team of three men, fully armed and in combat uniforms walked in formation towards the hut that James was kept. “I see three hostiles,” Steven said without looking back. “None yet from here, brother. You think they would bother with a squad for just a few killers?” “Trust me sister. We are more than a few killers. I am sure there will be more.” “Well, if they are which I honestly doubt, I say we take them out together. Not in bits. But in one whole ka-boom!” Steven ignored her, adjusting the zoom on the night goggles. The armed men were getting closer. He was tempted to take them all out but he had to be sure. “Stella, anything yet?” he asked. “Nothing, Steven.” The armed men approached still. They got into the hut, found James and made some sort of signal because at the very moment they entered the hut, Stella spoke hurriedly. “Steven…you need to see this.” Steven turned and zoomed in on the exit point Stella was facing. There were three five man squads set in formation. All geared up. Steven took back his position and screwed tight the silencers to his guns. “These men are known as the Shadow Squad. They infiltrate, kill and evacuate with ruthless efficiency. They are not known for their subtlety. And that is why I have a plan of my own.” Steven said. He waited for the three armed men in the hut to carry James out. As they began to move off with James’ body, Steven gave the order. “Now Stella! Headshots!” Steven took the armed men in three precise shots releasing James onto the beach sand. He turned his attention to his sister who had only managed one headshot and injured two of the men. Bullets were fired sporadically in their direction. Steven held his sister by the back of the neck and screamed to her: “Roll with me!” They rolled on the sand, moving east wards as the bullets kept on flying. Steven stuck a hand in sand and stopped their toss. Two broken formations were now at the place where Steven and his sister had hid. Steven brought out a detonator. He counted seven men. That was more than enough. “Once I hit this, there would be a loud bang. You need to go quickly and pick James up. I will meet you and then we can get the hell out of here.” Steven finished. Stella nodded and began to move slowly in the direction of the hut when Steven pressed the detonator and there was a loud bang. The explosion took out the men and scattered a lot of sand in the air. By the time Stella picked James up, the dust had settled and the squad had just three men left. Steven watched as they radioed in for back up and moved towards Stella. As Stella carried James heavy bulk away from the hut, she was stopped suddenly by one of the armed commandoes who pointed a gun to her head. “Freeze. Drop the body and put your hands where I can see them.” The man said. Stella tried to turn, in hope that she would see Steven coming to her rescue but she could not. She dropped James, removed her night goggles and raised her hands in the air. The man spoke into his collar, “Suspect apprehended. Extraction requested, over.” “Roger that soldier. Keep suspect detained, we are coming to you,” came a response from the other end. Two minutes later Stella was surrounded by the three commandoes left. The captain took Stella’s hands, putting her in handcuffs. As they moved in formation, away from James body, three shots came in quick succession. Stella looked around her and found the three soldiers dead on the ground. She knew Steven had done it. Hurriedly, she searched the waist pouch the captain wore, took out the keys to the cuffs and freed her hands. With James on her shoulder, she hurriedly left the beach, climbed the paving stones, and located their getaway car. Steven joined her almost immediately. “Are you good” Steven asked, firing the car to life. “Yeah, never better.” Stella replied. Steven felt the coldness from his sister but waved it aside. Using her as bait was the only way they could have escaped. He did not think she would understand and decided to let her be. ‘She would come around’ he said to himself. Stella was boiling within her. How could her brother have done that to her? She had no problems with being bait, but he should have run it by her. She would have been prepared if things had gotten out of hand. She hated being at the mercy of anyone and he knew it. She looked at him as he sped through the freeway and shook her head. She was losing her brother. ******* Sensei Magnum paced in his office at The Dome. He had sent the Shadow Squad out to capture Steven and his accomplices based on verified information and had watched in horror as every member of that squad was killed by Steven and his sister. He had taken the advice of one his generals, and now he had lost good men. Someone had to pay. He pressed a button on his desk and spoke to the receiver, “Defence Captain Frank and Lieutenant Martha, report to the mission room with immediate effect.” Less than sixty seconds later, both agents walked into the room. Sensei Magnum was in his chair when they arrived. No sooner had they got in than the Sensei pulled out a Taurus PT 9mm pistol, and aimed at Captain Frank. Without saying a word to either of them, he pulled the trigger. The bullet lodged itself in the man’s forehead and he fell to the ground. Sensei Magnum pulled out a tissue from the box on the table, cleaned the barrel of the gun and placed the gun back in its box. “Agent Martha, you have now been promoted to Head of Defence Unit. Congratulations Captain Martha,” he said stretching his hand for a shake, with a wide grin on his face. Captain Martha had no choice. She could not reject the appointment. She feared she may end up one day like Frank but she knew she had to look tough. So she took his hand, bowed and then left the room. ******* THREE DAYS LATER James lay on a small bed in a hospital bed watching his favourite television series. He had healed quickly after Steven had brought him in and taken care of him. The door opened and Steven walked in, beaming a smile. “Hello strong man. How are you feeling?” Steven asked. “I am good.” They had small talk and then James asked a question that had bugged his mind for days. “Why did you shoot me?” “I did not shoot you. Stella did.” “You made her do it! So please answer me!” James screamed, spittle dropping from his mouth. Steven did not know how to respond. He knew he could not hold back the answer anymore and decided to tell him. “We needed to know how ShadowCorp operated and if they had changed their codes. We needed bait and it had to be one of us. It had to be the weakest link and neither Stella nor I could have sufficed. It had to be you. I tampered with your codes, placed a bug on you and made it possible for you to get on ShadowCorp’s radar. We had to make it look real.” “And you thought I would not understand, so you did it behind me.” James intercepted “Not so James. We just wanted it to be perfect.” “You keep saying we, we, we. Was Stella a part of this?” Steven kept quiet. “Was Stella a part of this?!” James screamed. “No, she wasn’t. It was all my idea” Steven replied. There was silence. A few minutes later James spoke. “Please leave.” Steven looked at James but the latter took his face away. Steven got up, left the room and shut the door behind him. 1 Like |

CHAPTER THREE - FRIENDLY FOES “Do you think he can be trusted?” “Well, for now maybe he can. It would be foolish of me to completely trust someone who has such a dangerous tool at his disposal. “ “Yes, you are right. So what is your next move?” “I plan to draw him in. Pull him close. The deeper he gets, the more dangerous it is for him to pull out or snitch. He has got talents that would be useful for us. I see potential in him.” “And what happens if he decides to rat you out? Do you think you have what it takes to do what is required?” “If it ever gets to that, I will do what needs to be done.” “For all of our sakes I hope you do. Congratulations again.” Efosa raised his glass as they cheered hearty congratulations. As soon as Kevin left his office, Efosa had called Julius for a rendezvous. Julius was his best friend and personal adviser who knew every decision that he took. Apart from being a high profile lawyer who had lost none of his cases, he had a knack for seeing grey areas and pointing out possible mishaps in the plans Efosa embarked on. Ever since both men became a team it had been smooth sailing, except for the incident that had put him on the spot, and eventually leading him to involve Kevin. Julius placed his glass back on the table and wiped his mouth. He had listened with rapt attention as Efosa gave him the details of the impossible assignment given to him by his superiors, the threat to his life and family, and his lucky encounter with Kevin. Julius had avoided discussing CityOil with Efosa for a long time because he did not want to be a part of it. So when his best friend had called for help, he turned his back. “I warned you about getting into business with CityOil and specifically told you to give me time to sniff out all the blind spots before you accept their offer. Now see where they’ve got you. You are celebrating now, but do you honestly think this is where it ends?” he said. “Julius. Come on. Not tonight. This is supposed to be a victory dance. Yes, I know you warned me and all, but look at me bro! Here I am, unscathed!” Julius took another sip from his glass and shook his head. He kept his gaze on Efosa, with pity plastered all over his face. “Okay, okay! I am ready to do whatever you say right now. You have never led me wrong. I actually called this meeting because I know that they will come for me again, and the next time, I might not be so lucky. I know you promised never to get involved and I stupidly went on anyways, but please, I need you on this one, Jay. Please.” Efosa pleaded. There was silence. Julius appeared to be in deep thought, contemplating Efosa’s request. “Alright, I am in. But, you have got to let me in on everything. The deals, the people who contact you, what your finances are like, I want to know everything since you joined CityOil. They have got a head start on you. I will need to dig up dirt and find out everything I can about your bosses. You don’t step into a ring with an opponent you know nothing about. This will be a long battle, but I think we can flip the odds.” Julius said. “Whatever you need bro.” “I will also need to meet with Kevin.” “Why would you need him?” Efosa asked. “He has now become a part of the puzzle Efosa. I give you one week until they have him on their radar. You think they won’t track the hack back to your office? Search your CCTV for whoever may have done the job? Heck, they may even be onto him as we speak. Damn, you are so gullible Efosa.” “Oh no!” Efosa said putting his face in his hands. “Let’s set up a meeting tomorrow. Work starts immediately.” “But Kevin does not resume till Friday.” Efosa said. “Then get him to work tomorrow. Not a day later.” Julius commanded “Okay sir.” Efosa said and bowed. He picked his phone and sent an email to Human Resources, asking them to make sure Kevin was at work the next day. Damilola confirmed receipt of the mail and promised to give feedback. Thirty minutes later, Julius and Efosa were playing pool when Efosa’s phone beeped. It was an email from Damilola: “Kevin will be at work tomorrow sir.” Efosa looked at Julius and nodded. “Kevin is going to be around, so we are good to go.” Taking his attention back to the pool table, Efosa rubbed some chalk at the tip of the cue stick and took a position. He was chasing the black ball and had just one shot to win the game. It was a difficult shot because he had to bounce the cue ball off two corners before hitting the black ball into the hole, without sinking the cue ball. After ten seconds of aiming, he took the shot. The cue ball bounced off the left corner, hit the top corner and then slowly moved towards the black ball. The cue ball hit the black ball, sinking it into the hole, and stopping just at the edge of the whole. He looked at his friend and smiled. “You can never beat me at this boy.” Julius laughed, handed him a wad of crisp notes and asked, “Another round?” “Definitely!” ****** Kevin lay on the bed, unable to sleep. His eyes were open in the darkness. He kept replaying the event of the day in his head. He had hacked into a top government server and altered a number of important files. He was almost caught and that scared him. All he wanted was a job that would put food on his table and shelter over his head. What had he gotten himself into? He wondered. What scared him most was what he had altered. It was a list of companies to be liquidated if they could not meet a fine of a huge amount of money. He had erased CityOil and three other top companies from that list and replaced them with the names he had been given. And so it was that when Tunde put on the lights at 3am and saw him awake, he could not bring himself to tell his best friend what he had just done. Hours earlier, he had decided to abscond to a remote part of the country and had started making plans when he got a call to be at the office. “I thought I had the next three days off?” Kevin had protested. “I am just following instructions Kev. You must be very important to be called off leave. Whatever it is you are doing, keep it up. See you tomorrow.” Damilola had said and hung up. At 5am, Kevin woke up and prepared for work. Bathed, dressed and set, he tapped Tunde gently. Tunde was snoring heavily and did not stir until Kevin hit him a bit harder. Tunde opened his eyes, mumbling incoherently at the same time. “I am off to work.” “Okay” “Tunde, I may have gotten involved in something very terrible. Please pray for me.” “What? Kevin, what did you do?” Tunde asked sitting up, sleep totally disappearing from his face. “I can’t talk now but I promise to tell you everything as soon as I am back” “Alright. Be careful” Kevin nodded, picked the car keys and left the room. ******* Three men sat close together at a ten-man conference table discussing in low tones. They had serious looks on their faces as they continued to argue back and forth in suppressed voices. As they talked, there was a knock on the door and then the door opened. “Wanogho, please come in, and take a seat.” One of the men said loudly. The lady walked forwards, drew the seat at the base of the conference table and sat. “We want to go straight to the point. There was a security breach here yesterday and it happened under your watch. We want to know how that happened and the extent of damage that was done.” The same man asked. “Thank you Mr Idris. Good morning members of the governing board of the Federal Financial Regulatory Authority. We have the most airtight firewalls and network security systems as provided by industry standards. We also have up to date servers and data centres that leave zero margin for error. This was why I was able to detect the hack in real time.” “So, how come there was even a hack in the first place if you have the most airtight systems?” “Every system, no matter how well protected has a loop hole. This is why you have antivirus patches and definitions released every day. Our loop hole was that our system detected intrusion and fought it with all its fire power, revealing to the intruder what kind of attack was coming his way. I must say we are dealing with someone who is extremely good. Now, if we had a poor system, it would be days or even weeks before we noticed the hack. I was alerted immediately the hack begun and began to fight it as soon as it was detected. He was prepared. And he got the better of me.” “It could also have been a she. So where does this leave us?” “One, we know where the attacker hit and the files that had been affected. We had this sent to your secure drives hours ago. I plan to find out the intruder by doing a back track of the intrusion and unmask his IP address. Then we can triangulate the different servers he bounced off and get the location the hack came from. This means a lot to me sir and I promise you, I will get him.” “How soon can you start?” “I already have sir.” “Thank you Wanogho. We’ll let you know when we need you.” Wanogho left the conference room and walked to her office. She sat on a swivel chair and watched the five different screens on her wall as she waited for a hit on her triangulation sequence. After watching for twenty minutes, she decided to take a break so she pulled out her phone, opened BBM and sent a message: “Sup baby, you still mad at me? I am sorry for bailing on our date. Can we see tonight? Please?” She waited for the message to deliver and prayed that her boyfriend would read and send her a positive response. ****** Kevin had just arrived at work and was parking the car he drove when he felt his phone vibrate. He finished parking, turned off the ignition and pulled out the phone. It was a message on BBM. He read it, smiled and then typed a reply: “Tonight then. Wear something nice.” He got out of the car and walked into CityOil building. |
