Tolzeal:Just seeing this. Can you PM me and then we can chat further. Thanks |
I am buying PayPal at 330 naira today. PM me if you need. Take note too that Kayjegs doesn't use a Nigerian number to chat you. So if you see any Kayjegs chatting with you with a Nigerian number, you are wrong. Thanks and do have a lovely weekend. |
Jsaviour:Thanks, Jsaviour. There is no much I can say again. In fact, I need to go and sleep now. |
I hope this is clear enough. The value there was quoted in Canadian dollars. When it is converted to USD, it's about 56 USD.

chigo4u:Thanks, Chigo4u. I am also waiting for someone to come out and say I scammed them. Thank God Tabbaz saw that my profile is old. I am not new to nairaland although I may be new to currency trade here. I made most of the money I spent when doing my Masters in Nigeria here on nairaland legitimately. I have my reasons for not putting my number on nairaland. Anyone can PM me and we can talk from there. You can even check me out on facebook. I have had dealings with a lot of people here and no one can tell you anything bad about me. |
Tabbaz:Hello. I have uploaded what I have. If anyone can trace his wallet address, that's what I have displayed there. I wonder how someone like me enters scammers list because I reported someone. You should at least try find out who I am. I am not faceless. I can be contacted here and we can even have a Skype call to see the face of who is talking. I have been on nairaland since 2009 and you can try take a look at my post and everything I have done here on nairaland before I relocated abroad. |
onatisi:I have shown it now. So does that help at least to an extent to show that I sent bitcoin to someone. The closest thing that will help was the fact that I asked my brother if anyone sent him 19K and he said No. I have the whatsapp chat for that? It was around the same time. That's the only other proof I have for now. It still baffles me that I can't pull that chat up. |
I am attaching the bitcoin transaction I had with the culos. Although unfortunately, I still couldn't get the whatsapp chat history. This should at least show that there was a transaction.

OkwaIfugo:In this case, I have explained how it all disappeared. I can't stand having a scammer on my whatsapp list. I'm still trying to see how to dig it up. However, it is already clear he is a scammer. He has even gone to the extent of impersonating me. His number is 09078395200. I will post the btc hashtag like someone suggested here. There is nothing to prove anymore. I'm tired of all these today. Now the question is, do you think I will falsely accuse someone? For what? Let this matter rest abeg. I ain't a baby. Pls I don't think I want to answer anything concerning this matter again other than telling people that I don't use a Nigerian number. Anybody who parades himself as Kayjegs with such number is wrong or using a new profile is wrong. Simple! Have a wonderful nite as it is in Naija now. |
descrisom:I will send it when I get home. My blockchain account with bitcoin is on my old phone which is not with me here. I will definitely send it when I get home. For me, it's not even about the loss like I have been saying but how on earth will someone impersonate you to get back at you because you reported him here? Still wondering. Thanks for this. |
descrisom:How do I do that? I will try it like you said. |
OkwaIfugo:I was so angry that I blocked him and reported him as spam. This is my first time of ever blocking people on whatsapp. By the time I wanted to check for his chats again, everything was gone. I have a contact at the facebook headquarters who can help me dig this out but I don't think I want to go through the stress. At this point, I will like to say that I agree with the way you have been sounding out the alarm. If it can be a little harder, let it be. I'm dazed..I can't believe this. Henceforth I'm on a low key as I have always been. |
I think with this, what OkwaIfugo is doing is not extreme as I earlier thought. I can't believe people go to this extent to malign people's character. |
miqos02:Thanks so much for taking your time |
Moreover, I blocked and reported this culos guy as spam on my feed because I don't want to see him on my whatsapp feed anymore and his details just disappeared from my phone. But I could still recollect his number. Pls be careful o. For calling people out, they will go all out to clone you and use you to commit fraud. I'm dazed. Just when I think I still want to come back to Naija to do business. This one weak me |
Please and please, I don't use a Nigerian number. If anyone chats you up and says he is Kayjegs and it is a Nigerian number, it is not Kayjegs. You can all see why I prefer that people PM me here on nairaland and then we can talk on whatever: facebook, whatsapp etc. But PM me first. Check my profile first. I've been registered here since 2009. If you see any new profile just opened in 2018 or so, it's not me. RED ALERT!! |
miqos02:Wow! It's the same culos guy. I use a foreign number (precisely Canadian) |
descrisom:What's exactly your point? I don't raise false alarm. I don't need to start posting pictures here and there. Do you think I will sit down and just want to spoil someone's name and label them a scammer if I don't have proof? People have cone out to confirm the guy as a scammer. I took time to also address OkwaIfugo and you can see for yourself how people who have been trading with me were on my defence. So what's exactly your point? My money is my money like you rightly said, it's not yours so why questioning me about my money? Have you taken time to check my nairaland profile too? Or googled me? Or even try get me facebook profile to know that I can't stoop so so low to scam people when I have things going well for me and my reputation is high. |
miqos02:Sorry, I'm just seeing this. Thanks for alerting me. What's the whatsapp number? |
OkwaIfugo:I think I have taken a good approach. What I wanted was for the scammer to deny and then I can put the evidence here. I give people the benefit of doubt. He hasn't been able to deny it. If I don't have any evidence against someone, I wont come here and start saying watch out for this person or not if I don't have proof of what they have done. Moreover, the way you quote people that you are yet to know is wrong. It sends a wrong signal to other people and you could hurt the person. Yes, you are trying to protect people, which is fine but the approach needs to be finetuned somehow. Thanks for the concern. |
culos:Wow! So you can come here to still talk. You are a scammer's scammer. I wonder why someone can be this bold knowing fully well that he is scamming people. In my case, you have touched something very hot. |
descrisom:In all fairness, I don't need what I sold to him. It is a bitcoin I have kept for a long time and I have lost on it with some Singaporean companies when bitcoin gained popularity early last year. So I never had any drive to make anything from it. I just wanted to let it go. I could have given it to someone for free but decided to use it as a bait instead just to test my theory about identifying scammers on nairaland. I think before you write, always check your facts. I have been dealing with a lot of people here on nairaland and have even formed friendships. I don't do those kind of rough plays with paypal or payoneer which I deal in big time. So know what you are saying next time. I have had to transact with at least three people who contacted an escrow but escrow isn't picking his calls maybe escrow is busy. And that was wasting my time. In some cases, I had to stop the deal. Real escrow is anyone who can do it as a business. I can't imagine someone using me for escrow when I am busy doing something else since it is not my main job. But if there are people here who does escrow service 24/7 and are well known, let their names be posted here so that people can have access to them any time any day. That is my take on all these escrow things. |
The rate at which scammers now feast on this thread is alarming. Within the last few days, they have multiplied like bees. One of my red flags is if the person's nairaland profile shows that he just registered like less than a year, then you need an escrow except if you know the person before. If you don't have trusted people you have been dealing with especially if you are new, then use an escrow. For those that are new, an escrow is someone that holds money in trust for you. He wont release the money to your seller until you get what you are buying. |
chigo4u:Are you kidding me? I saw his comment when they were talking about scammers as if he isn't and I decided to try him. My instinct told me he is one. So I tested him. Sometimes, it is good to identify the scammers so you can help protect others. Well, he has put his hands on something very hot. |
onatisi:Well, it's not an amount I can't lose. But at the same, I'm still giving him the benefit of doubt until the 24 hours lapses. |
culos:I am still waiting for my money after almost 24 hours. I don't want to assume any foul play from you. Just play it nicely. Thanks |
culos:I am still waiting for you to pay me. Don't want to jump to conclusions just yet. |
jidobaba:Alright. I have initiated a chat with you on WhatsApp now. |
culos:Okay. I have also replied your PM. |
I am buying paypal at 330 naira today. PM me if interested. I'm also thinking of selling some small BTC I've kept for a long time. It's about 56 USD worth. Let me know if you can be interested. Thanks. |
