Ollyfad. There are ideas on getting funding for establishing businesses. But first, have you done your feasibility studies especially on why you think it would be a profitable venture in such area? In other words, do you have a business proposal detailing all these? To access finding asides having a good and convincing business plan, do you have the credit line which your bank can use to raise the funds? Even if your bank cannot raise the funds, they can convert your line of credit into a bank guarantee with which you can raise funding from other sources. In any case, do you have a collateral to access such funding as loan? However, I have a source that may be able to help out especially for big-time businesses such as these. But you have to be able to show that you can raise 20% of the capital and then they come in with 80%. This is how most funding companies run. They want to be as secured as possible.

Yeah, you are very correct. But, you can also use any means to remind yourself to pray and perform your spiritual duties. The bible usually makes encourages people to take their faith in their hands. For example, if you read Romans 12:1 which says in NIV...Therefore I urge you brothers and sisters in view of God's mercy to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God - this is your true and proper worship. If you go further, it talks about ..do not conform....

So in all these, there is the responsibility of the believer to take steps to do right thing and then the Holy Spirit will support. I just thought about smartphones being a distractive tool sometimes, then why can't we use it too, to help our relationship with God. It is a matter of using what you have to help you focus on God too in a way. That is the essence of the mobile app. Take it as a virtual prayer partner. As a christian, I know many people love to pray to God. They want to be closer to God especially in prayers. Many people want to pray regularly to God but they just don't do it. They need someone to encourage them to pray many times.
I am creating a prayer mobile app that helps one to pray. This app alerts you on when to pray, it is updated with prayers every time. It talks to you, it says prayers with you and not like you have to read the prayers like other apps. The prayer app also encourages people interceeding for one another. You don't need to know someone to pray for them. People post their prayer request and it is automatically distributed to all the app users. Occasionally, there will be video uploads of happenings where they need your help and support in prayers.

Yeah, it costs money but it is worth it. Even when people are looking for jobs, they spend money moving from place to place. Spend money sometimes on materials and looking good for interviews and all sort. If you calculate that over the three, four five years without jobs, you will discover that one has spent a fortune. Not that living abroad is heaven but at least you can live a decent life with basic life necessities met from any work you do. It is better than getting old with no job and no means of livelihood which Nigeria ensures for her youths.

This is a kind of story that is typical of a Nigerian graduate. I have been giving advice here on nairaland for quite some time. But I noticed that most youths just brush aside many of the advice and continue chasing shadows. When one feels like commiting suicide, then it is time to look elsewhere. There is always something good out there which will help you out. You need to change the focus. Maybe you have been looking at the wrong direction. Start or do a business (There are some that do not involve money. For example making money online with your skills on sites like fiverr etc). There are many threads that have dealt with this making money online with your skills on nairaland but youths will just brush those aside as if it is nonsense. Secondly, I will advice that you broaden your horizon...Travel out of the country! There are countless threads on the travel section of nairaland where you can get advice and all that.
