I have gionee A1 Lite Chinese version I bought it 3999naira on Jumia.

Nigeria version is about 57 to 65k


The phone developed fault called ghost touch, so I took it to gionee customer care, they refused to repair it, saying its not Nigeria version that I have to take it back to Jumia.


And always remember anything u buy from Jumia and it is Chinese version has no warrantee,, it is wriiten on their website.

But incase of a faulty hardware, can't I buy it from other online shops like aliexpress. Maybe a broken screen?. Then find an engineer here to repair it

I know, as long as u didn't get a faulty device at the point of purchase, then u can probably try ur very best to maintain it.


But i believe if they is any faulty hardware of the device u can order from Alleexpress or Jumia global and look for a repairer to fix it for u.

I heard once this nokia x5 (TA-1102) gets faulty it can't be repaired here in nigeria by nokia care... How true is this?

Yea, while I was there about buying d phone, one guy came towards d shop with his Nokia X5 ( "5.1+" ) with a particular complain for d phone engineer there to fix, but d engineer told him dat it can't be fixed dat it's d Chinese version. So I just had to buy d global version ...in all I spent 73K.

Bro they are on the same level. Nokia 5.1+ is what pops up when I check the phone info... The only difference is its 4g bands which I dont care much about coz airtel 4g is bae for me. Also the price of the global version is too high
