SUCCESS BUT IT MUST CONTINUE AND RECIEVE MORE MEDIA COVERAGE IN ORDER TO PUT MORE PRESSURE ON THE GOVERNMENT

THIS IS NOT JUST ABOUT THE FEUL SUBSIDY FOR THOSE THAT DONT KNOW THIS IS ABOUT BAD GOVERNANCE IN GENERAL!

NIGERIANS WHETHER HAUSA IGBO OR YORUBA OR ANY OTHER ETHNIC GROUP WE HAVE BEEN SUFFERING AND SMILING FOR TOO LONG

SOME OF YOU ARE SO USE TO BEING DECEIVED THAT YOU ACTUALLY BELIEVE THAT IT IS A RIGHT FOR THE GOVERNMENT TO REMOVE THE SUBSIDY.

IF THEY REMOVE IT THEY MIGHT AS WELL RESIGN FROM GOVERNMENT AS NIGERIANS DO NOT FEEL THEIR GOVERNANCE IN ANY OTHER AREA.

POOR ROADS, NO SECURITY, NO ELECTRICITY, NO HEALTH CARE POOR EDUCATION

INSTEAD OF TACKLE THESE ISSUES THEY WOULD RATHER FOCUS ON SAME SEX PARTNERSHIPS

HOW DO THEY EXPECT THE COMMON MAN TO SURVIVE IN SUCH CONDITIONS? THERE ARE ALREADY TOO MANY ARMED ROBBERS IN THE COUNTRY SUCH LAWS WILL ONLY INCREASE THE NUMBER!

THERE IS ENOUGH MONEY IN THE HANDS OF THESE POLITICIANS ALREADY THIS INCREASE IS ONLY REQUIRED TO SETTLE MEMBERS OF A FRAUDULENT CARTEL

DO NOT BE DECEIVED

SUCH LAWS WILL JUST MEAN THAT THE RICH WILL GET RICHER AND THE POOR WILL REMAIN POOR
Culture › “war Against English Words Entering Yoruba”! by kayode256(op): 12:27am On Dec 03, 2011
For example mama Tola instead of iya Tola

“Kilo happen? Ma worry. Mo understand. Kosi problem. Mo sorry gan. Ma expect me. Ke ni nice day”

Is this the new (English) pidgin for Yorubaland, joining other sections of the country, who have specialised in killing their own Nigerian language by using mainly “pidgin” in the name of “communicating” with other groups?

The greatest tragedy in Yorubaland today however regarding language is the dominating trend to speak only English to their children, making it their first language, then sending them to private nursery school, who only teach in English and causing Yoruba children to value English above all other languages!

Yoruba children now do not know proper Yoruba and even as a result of this mixture do not know the real Yoruba words for “ma worry”, “check result” etc, Ask them or some of their parents and they will tell you they don’t know the original Yoruba for the popular phrases that many literate and non-literate leaders and followers commonly use throughout Yorubaland.

I have not researched the topic but I suspect that Hausa, is probably the most unpolluted language in Nigeria, and in all their films that I have seen no English there at all.

Dont get me wrong bEnglish is a lovely language but if this trend continues where will our language be in twenty years?

Quran Chapter 9:5
"But when the forbidden months are past then fight and slay the pagans wherever ye find them and seize them beleaguer them and lie in wait for them in every stratagem (of war); but if they repent and establish regular prayers and practice regular charity then open the way for them: for Allah is Oft-Forgiving Most Merciful."
Christianity Etc › Re: Am Beginning To Lose Faith In Islam: Boko-haram Caused It by kayode256(m): 7:32pm On Nov 23, 2011
[b]The Quran actually commands a true muslim to kill the Jews and the of the Scripture in the Verses of the Sword (Ayat Al Sayf) Quran Chapter 9.

If you read it from beginning to the end, you will see that Boko Haram, Alqaeda and such sects are doing what the Quran told them. The Quran is full of bitter and violent words and curses towards non muslims.

And on the Issue of the 3 Daughters of Allah, Mohammed mention them in a deceptive manner to deceive the Quraiysh into accepting Islam later claimed was put in his mouth by Satan when explaining himself to his followers. This verse was removed from the original script of the Quran by his followers and the area that could not be removed was distorted. This verses are referred to as the Satanic Verses.

Here is how the Quran once read with the satanic verses:
Near it is the Garden of Abode. Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!) (His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong! For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest! Have ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza, And another, the third (goddess), Manat?
These are the exalted cranes (intermediaries) Whose intercession is to be hoped for.
What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female? Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair! (an-Najm 53:19-22)

It was later altered as you can see below

Here is how it reads today in the Quran:
Near it is the Garden of Abode. Behold, the Lote-tree was shrouded (in mystery unspeakable!) (His) sight never swerved, nor did it go wrong! For truly did he see, of the Signs of his Lord, the Greatest! Have ye seen Lat. and 'Uzza, And another, the third (goddess), Manat?
[Words of Satan Deleted]
What! for you the male sex, and for Him, the female? Behold, such would be indeed a division most unfair! (an-Najm 53:19-22)

So you see that there are so many errors in the Quran.
Another is the fact the Mohammed was confusing the Myriam the Sister of Moses to Mary the Mother of Jesus. There is no place in the Bible (even historically) where Mary is synonymous with Mariam. He actually said Mary the mother of Jesus was the sister of Moses. That is to show that his memory of what the Pharisees taught him (Mohammed) was failed him and he mixed so many things up.

I can go on and on, but you can't find the truth from just criticising the Quran, read the Bible on your own too and you will also know the truth.

On the issue of the trinity, God is not 3 and there was no place in the Bible where it is said thus. There is only ONE God called YHWH (pronounced as Yahweh), Jesus Christ who we called His son is an expression of His Love (He made a part of Him to come to the world through a woman, but without any human seed (Fluid) to come and show us how to live an acceptable live and also sacrificed Him (Jesus) for our sins. When you here the word Holy Spirit, it is the same God, but this time, in human mind, teaching, guiding and directing him (man). So the remaining 2 are expression of God, not that there are 3 Gods. No, far from it.

God can choose to express Himself as 1, 10, 100, 1000 characters or even to infinity, that shows that he is omnipresent (can be everywhere at the same time doing different things that does not depend on one another), it does not mean He is 2 or 3 or 10, or 1000. He is just God and can do as He pleases.

Think about this and make your decision based on your own research and note that you are responsible for whatever decision your make for yourself, so don't let anybody misguide you and don't be misguided by the exchange of insults which all the guys here are calling advice.

May God (Al-Ila or Jehovah) guide you.
(Al-Ila is an arabic general word for "The (Supreme) God", not Allah (which is a specific name of a diety).
(Al means The and Ila means God)

Take care.[/b]

very good post mr tech alot of muslims unforetunately fail to accept such inconsistencies

No one is being harsh when they say islam is not about peace there is clear evidence in the quran to the contrary.

Many muslims also like to discredit the bible but the quran says that whemn muslims are in doubt they should turn to the prople of the book. (bible)

That is why most muslims are familiar with the text.

AT OP ASK YOUR DAD TO EXPLAIN THESE CONTRADICTIONS

Wine: Good or bad?
, are only an infamy of Satan's handiwork. [5:90, also 2:219]. Yet on the other hand in Paradise are rivers of wine [47:15, also 83:22,25]. How does Satan's handiwork get into Paradise?

Can Allah be seen and did Muhammad see his Lord? Yes [S. 53:1-18, 81:15-29], No [6:102-103, 42:51].

Will there be inquiry in Paradise? "neither will they question one another" [23:101] but nevertheless they will be "engaging in mutual inquiry" [52:25], "and they will , question one another" [37:27].

Do not say, "Three"!? It is impossible to recite Sura 4:171 without transgressing the command contained in it.

Will all Muslims go to Hell? According to Sura 19:71 every Muslim will go to Hell (for at least some time), while another passage states that those who die in Jihad will go to Paradise immediately.

Will Jesus burn in Hell? Jesus is raised to Allah, [Sura 4:158], near stationed with him [Sura 3:45], worshiped by millions of Christians, yet Sura 21:98 says, that all that are worshiped by men besides Allah will burn in Hell together with those who worship them.

These girls that i witnessed are nigerian ( there is no need to be indenial as this is a publicised problem that most people are aware of)

On one particular occasion i was on holiday with a group of friends in spain and we were looking for a good rave/club to go to.  i then saw one pretty black girl wandering holding leaflets so i assumed she was promoting a rave or event.

i called her over, when we started talking she was speakin both pidgin and yoruba) Confirms she was nigerian). I asked her what she was doing in spain, this being a normal question minorities in europe ask one an other when meeting 4 the first time. she confirmed wat i was thinking and said she was promting clubs in the area.

She was very young but i was happy for her as i genuinely believed she was out there makin honest money. At that time i thought nothing about prostitution.

After we had finished in the club on the way back this is when i saw a group of at least twenty harrasing the white drunk clubbers for business  and guess what she was among them.
shocked

I saw them in the city centre everyday whilst i was there it made me feel sick embarassed

some looked like they were as young as twenty (some were clearly much older in their early thirties)  or maybe it is just the stress making them look old, (me i dont no sha)

after that occassion later on in that week i could here one of the younger ones speakin yoruba so i called her over and i said to her ("agburo why you dey do this kind work??)

she just gave me one evil look like she was goin to kill me lipsrsealed so i kept shut and carried on walikng,

@Poster, I also expected you to follow this up with a question on where the heck the heads of the men are. I mean many of the girls you speak of, don't Be Intimate with themselves. They are mostly patronized by Nigerian men in the community, both at home and abroad. So since it takes two to tango, what has happened to our Nigerian men? An even more serious question is where are the fathers in the picture?

Its funny you say that but in Europe it is quite the opposite when they see their fellow country men they turn the other direction because they probably fear that they will be reported to their parents, boyfriends back home.

So alot of them are clearly ashamed of what they do but the love of money entices them to continue in thier field. Im sure alot of them even believe in God and have recieved counsel from men but choose to put it in the back of their minds.

I just think that it is shockin that you can leave hot sunny nigeria to come to a foreign land to stand in the cold all night havin sex with random men

messi and zidane are two different players your right about that but messi has

more pace
better dribbler on the ball its almost like d ball has been glued to his leg.e
messi is very problematic if he is playing you end up putting two men on him leaving other players free meaning strikers will get more goals.
he is better sportsman he would never headbutt somebody in d belly on d pitch lool
lionel messi on d pitch also reduces morale of other team because game plans will be upset.
lionel messi is also playing at a time where the strength and tactical knowledge of teams has drastically improved.
MESSI IS BETTER THAN ZIDANE THIS IS MY OPINION O
zidane was greAT dont get me wrong he could read d game better than anyone else but when messi retires he will be talked of as the best player in d world HAS EVER SEEN.

Yes, we hate the Nigerian government but i think the OP has a partial point. while government does have the responsibility of creating an enabling environment for business to thrive, job creation is another issue entirely. the kind of economy we operate places it in the hands of private individuals, which was what the OP was probably trying to say. Nigerians are naturally industrious people. but alas not every nigerian is industrious and those we hear at newspaper stands and on Nairaland usually fall under this category. I guess i will get villified for saying this but Ikengawo does have some points worth considering. taking into consideration, the fact that some nigerians just love complaining should make things clearer. Since November, we've been hearing of a mysterious "cabal" whose members don't sleep at night and spend every moment planning how to keep yar'adua in power. virtually everything that has gone wrong in the country over the past six months is the fault of the cabal. I'm waiting for someone to say the cabal is responsible for unemployment. the same, the Federal government takes the blame for everything wrong in Nigeria, even those induced by the masses. Generator importers are private individuals who benefit from the absence of constant power supply and probably work against any plans to improve the power situation. that's an instance where private individuals contribute in inflating unemployment. We cannot keep waiting for government to do everything, including waking us up in the morning. Some of our problems are actually caused by ourselves. the thing is, Nigerians are great at identifying short term opportunities but poor at fishing long term opportunities. Even when we identify long term opportunities, we are scared off by the risks involved. it's one of the reasons why there are so many small businesses that employ little labor and few large businesses that employ lots of labor. blame the FG all you want but i guess its the largest employer of labor in the country.
