In 2021, I follow Penny stocks on this forum, it was a financial disaster. I used the experience to study the pattern of NYSE quoted companies.
I returned to the market in late 2023, I started growing my portfolio gradually.
The take home point is that penny stocks is not for everybody. You must always be current with news and events happening in the US.
Avoid the Chinese listed penny stocks, they are a recipe for capital $ wipe off 😉.
Patient is of utmost importance
Timing the Market is dangerous.
The risk of venturing into penny stocks, outweighs the benefits.
Check the date on the attach screenshots.
To be honest, I left NYSE totally and focus on NGX , where I was exceptional lucky to buy the deep during the pandemic.
Today, I focus on blue chips companies for long-term generational wealth creation.
If your objective is Long-term, then the blue chips companies worth the risk.
If the bubble bursts, most of them would recover within 6 to 8 months.

Just picked up 300% from my investment in MBIO this morning. I have an account for Blue Chips where I mostly do LEAPS. Each has its Pros & Cons.


Sold the last batch - 450% profit.

Even a broken clock is twice in every 24hrs period.

Like CHAMS, I recall stating in clear terms why this insurance coy and by extension, a few others will go places, even when it was practically stationary @ 20k. (same way with Regal In, STI, Mbenefits, Cornerstone, CHI, Lasaco, Linkage etc)

They were also informed about the golden insurance 6 (6 insurance asset names) to align with for maximum CGY.

Given the present macroeconomic trend (ref: high rate environment) and it's drop down positive impact on stocks in the financial services sector, some insurance and investment coys are clearly well positioned to deliver higher nets.

Investment gains is expected to drive higher NPM. (also a pivotal reason for the improved margins/earnings across healthy coys in the insurance sector)
Many are also doing appreciably well in their core business of insurance.

I did highlight time and again, that that sector is worth a 20--25% exposure for any growth and/or value investor.

From a fundamental point of view, certain key insurance names are still a strong BUY @ their CMPs (ref: >>an outperform rating for...)

We will see how Mr Time takes charge of matters. Everyone knows "I love that man".

I'm developing interest in the financial sector, particularly in companies doing well in the investment banking subsector. I've not started any homework on this mission yet. I ultimately hope to find at leat two that may be underpriced and sitting on great value - fundamentals. Mid-long term in mind.
