iammo:Wait is this post in support of Atiku or making fun of him, I can't tell. So these are the companies that people claim hires more ppl than Dangote group of companies. |
Atiku, Saraki, Ben Murray-Bruce are the ones deciding the future of this country and you guys are rejoicing? Wonderful! Same Saraki that has been senate president for 3 years is the person some of y'all are celebrating. Same Saraki that admitted to cutting funding to Lagos Ibadan expressway. If that road is completed, it'll be because they went around the budget to get funds to complete it. These guys that have destroyed the country for years are the ones some of you think ppl will just willingly hand the country back to? You're telling me these guys have had the solutions all this time but did nothing? |
efilefun:Exactly!! All these roads were constructed by their hero. Maybe Buhari came and packed them up. What PDP couldn't achieve in 16yrs, you're asking another party to achieve in 3yrs. Initiated is all we ever heard, real work is now going on, these folks are talking. PDP folks really need to come prepared cos it won't be easy for them. With how much people are not excited about Buhari because of the economy, they're not looking forward to voting for PDP. These cheap insults and stupidity they try to bandy around won't work. |
yrex01:LMAO!!! The way ppl argue that makes me weak |
Pls add on the whatsapp 08188403681 |
Anyone has any experience with f01. Reliability, mechanics, availability of parts if need be. Then between an f01 & f10 which would you guys recommend based on the above factors. Personally my first choice will be the f01. Definitely more concerned about reliability than anything else |

successmatters:Huh!!! We're talking about management of resources here. None of those guys could have done anything about oil prices. It was simple econs, demand and supply. However as far as buhari stabilizing oil prices (which he never said), at least Nigeria was exempt from the opec oil production cut. The cut was to help some member countries like Nigeria. The cut helped in the improvement in oil prices |
Booby88:So mention the states that PDP are controlling now that exhibit all those qualities you just mentioned. The 16 years PDP ruled this country, what exactly did we get out of it? 16 uninterrupted years, 16 years of absolute power. |
Yeah $120/barrel oil, no significant infrastructural development, Nigeria still remained a poor country. Finance minister was already predicting doom and gloom if oil dropped to $65/barrel. Now we've had oil at an average of $35/barrel and this man thinks he could have held anything together abeg let's stop the jokes. |
I'm sure some people will see Amaechi's name and just get excited. Anyway scams everywhere. It seems almost every move by past governments was made to steal money. |
On Twitter again? |
Always APC vs PDP. Most of you guys are too lazy to think for yourselves. Can anyone say how Buhari caused the naira to fall to where it is today? Can any of you so called critics just mention one reason. I can tell you for sure that it's due to drop in price of oil and our dependence on oil for forex. If Buhari has done anything to cause it apart from that please mention and explain properly |
ZUBY77:Bros most American cities have yellow light... abeg educate yourself before you try educating others |
Op I've lived in two states in the US and visited a lot more cities and quite a number of them have yellow lights. If you're looking for white lights in Lagos go to Eko Atlantic, you'll find there |
GenOrumov:Have they really lit up Cele because it seems like from Oshodi to Apapa is still dark. Also Lagos-Badagry too from that Orile area hasn't been lit. I commend the job the governor is doing but I think those roads are quite major to be neglected. |
Very very lame argument. So as Buhari is president now, Fayose can just come now and make him do what he doesn't want to do especially something that's not in the interest of the country. Then so Tinubu made noise, did Tinubu also force the FG to spend their own share as well or why didn't the FG save that one? |
What?? Are you even serious? Do you even understand this is all planned? You're talking like there's a house in the middle of the road and they went around it. For those the build houses, shops where they shouldn't be built, the only solution is to demolish it. Why not try to build something somewhere that's unapproved in the UK and tell me if they'll come and build a road around it or not demolish it and even lock you up. Another thing is, you know cities like London, Paris, etc went through an era of mass demolition to get to where they are today. We haven't even started being serious about it in Nigeria, in fact no where close to being serious. |
MagicBishop:Can you guys please move past all these tribal inspired conspiracies. Are all southern banks dead? You just mentioned one northern bank relocating as evidence (by the way, one of my wife's good friend is a very influential executive in that bank and she's Yoruba, there's even rumors her family partly owns the bank). You say nobody has access to forex but BDCs have, can you please provide any proof? Please provide any. If he wanted the Northern cabal to take over why should they have banned CBN selling to them in the first place, only to turn around and give them out of the back door. The ban of sale of forex to BDCs was actually not one of those things Nigerians were clamoring for so why would they ban them, if the plan is to strengthen them. Please let's argue with fact and some intelligence. What you wrote is not different from you saying you're not doing well because they told you someone is doing you in your village. You're trying to put pieces that don't match together just to make someone look bad or explain your own failures. Then I really don't see what this has to do with devaluation, this whole thing is just confusing. |
All these broke boys on Nairaland too are supporting devaluation because it's opposite of what Buhari wants. I feel sorry for some of you. You guys are ready for bread, water, transportation to double shey?? This is without any significant wage increase in sight. Let's now forget the essentials, that phone, that car, that TV you've been praying and saving for will now be totally out of reach. When that happens, let someone now tell you "we're doing this for foreign investors" tell me you won't slap that person. NIGERIANS it's time to get creative. Go learn to produce something, glass, clay, pencils, shoes whatever. There's opportunity in all of this. If anyone thinks there's a sexy way out of this mess without some creativity, sacrifice and hard work, then you're deceiving yourself. We've left the Era of free money. My sister's driver told me about how his brother that used to sell phone accessories in traffic in Lagos, stayed back in their town to learn how to do glass. People like that I hail. |
So Tolu in real life that's against devaluation wrote an article supporting devaluation. An article that was mainly based on criticizing Buhari is the same one you guys are saying APC is behind. People's brains are upside down no joke. No proof apart from the fact that one of your leaders told you so and that makes it gospel. |
AngryNigerian:I'm sorry I associated you with anyone.. my bad. Your statement just sounds like every other wailer's out there. If you were really angry, I think you'll be more angry at these thieves and these revelations than those that haven't been arrested yet. But hey, you have a right to your opinion, do not forget however that this is a public forum |
Incorrect1:Dude let me educate you if you don't know, the media has called both of them worse. Insults are not new in American politics at all, these guys get bashed every single day. Being called a buffoon is a good day. |
AngryNigerian:Saraki that was facing trial, didn't you guys call him a witch that was being hunted. The day they carry Atiku, you guys will say its because Buhari is scared of him because Atiku is nursing a presidential ambition. When he arrests Amaechi, it'll be he's from the SS that's the reason. He collected Amaechi's money and threw in prison because SS. We know your games, as long the thieves being arrested are not innocent it'll keep going on, no matter the spin some of y'all put on it. |
igala1:20,000 thumbs up for this! People are mixing traders with investors. What real investors are looking at if they're money is safe in our country. They're looking at political stability. They're looking at a government that's not only interested in satisfying their cronies. This is why investors are happy Buhari is allowing the contracts in the power industry stand despite the complaints and evidences that it was done by who you know. What investors are interested in, is not all that Western Union and black market like what all these guys are saying. Nigeria needs investors that want to invest in Nigeria, not quick come and sell traders. Devaluation is instantly going to make us poorer, no company is going to raise wages. Poverty isn't attractive to investors |
You guys realize this $2.1B is like the whole 2016 budget for power, works and housing (largest allocation).. imagine that!! That's money to give Nigerians more power, money to fix roads and build infrastructure, money to build houses all over Nigeria is what few individuals put in their pockets. They definitely deserve to rot in jail |
The guy just has a big mouth without anything really upstairs. Seriously did he really say go the way of Fayose, FFK?? Are those really the people PDP wants to be in company of?? Are those the faces of people PDP really wants to put forward?? If so congrats APC, you'll be winning nationally for a long time. Opposition doesn't mean oppose everything. That budget is a good budget but it's all words until it's properly implemented. Implementation is when you talk, not now |
