Explosion in North of China:Not Seen as Terrorist Attack

Unlike our dear Nigeria where bomb blast as become a common part of our daily life,China does not have such occurrences of bombing.This is because China has a strict police force and use of arms and ammunition is checked except you are in the military.

So, the Wednesday explosion that happened outside the regional headquarters of the ruling Communist party in Taiyun,Shanxi Province.This bomb blast was unusual because 7 bomb went off in rapid succession.

Reports had it that the 7 bombs were hidden in flower pots by the roadside and contained marble-sized ball bearings.Until now, now one has claimed responsibility for the attack and the police has not come up with an report of suspects.

The bomb blast on Wednesday has sent jitters down the spines of Chinese and most times cases like this are blamed on the other ethnic groups especially the Uighurs.Just last week 3 of the Uighurs ethnic group from western China rammed their vehicle through crowds of tourist before blowing off.2 people died and 40 were injured.

It is obvious that the contention among ethnic groups is limited to Nigeria alone. It cut across every climes.The belief among most Chines that any case of bombing is between the Uighurs and the most dominant ethnic group,Han Chinese.

Any bomb blast by these ethnic groups as not seen as terrorists though in our own case such acts are labeled as terrorist acts.China is experiencing their own boko haram but they are not perturbed about as they think they able to put things under control.Theirs is not an Islamic terror attack but attack from disgruntled ethnic groups.

May God save us from a terror-filled world.Amen.
