One will see clearly that the story was a deliberately concocted attack on the Minister for Marine and Blue Economy, Gboyega Oyetola, sponsored by those who are not comfortable with the successes he is recording in his ministry. The issue of his son, Femi was just brought in as a distraction to get at his father. That is why you will not see any attribution in the story. Besides, studying series of write ups on the so-called ArewaReporters platform, it is nothing but a PDP attacking dog, aimed at destroying opposition members who are excelling. So, the writer should go and 'tell it to the marines', it is clear that they are all lies. |
One is not surprised that Oyetola return to Osun recorded such rousing welcome by the people, in fairness he has done well. For those who still believe that Adeleke won that Governorship Election should come off it, the admission of the INEC at the tribunal that there were over voting in the 10 LGs being challenged in court said it all. Let's see how it goes. |

By AISHAT YUSUFF There is now evidence of bad blood between the camps of Governor Gboyega Oyetola of Osun and his predecessor, Minister for Interior, Ogbeni Rauf Aregbesola, as prominent figures in the two camps have been throwing tantrum against themselves. Though, both Oyetola and Aregbesola have severally denied any misgiving between them, the trending attacks on facebook from the key players from the two sides have proven their denial otherwise. Shortly after the turbanning of Aregbesola as the Amirul Wazirul-Mumin of Osun State last Friday, the state Special Adviser on Education, Mr Jamiu Olawumi posted on his facebook page, “The rug always has an owner. It is always regimented. There is a Sheriff in town. One at a time ni!”. The Post sparked reaction from one of the closed associates of Aregbesola, Mr Bola Ilori who posted in return, “This position is neither right nor helpful to the real owners of the rug, the Sheriff and even the rug itself. “The owner of the rug is the entire community and it is held in perpetuity. So, the rug has never belonged to a single owner at any time and it is never regimented. “What you have by turn is an anchor tenant who coordinates the stay on the rug with other key tenants, including those on the other side of the divide on the rug.
