Well, I had the same problem. All the batteries in Naija are fake. I had my sister send me one from the U.S. I suggest you get a relative to send you one from anywhere outside Nigeria. Preferably the U.S or the U.K.

"I received a threatening email from Intercontinental Bank this morning. I'm still kind of shaken and I can't figure out if they are threatening a "Spiritual" or "Physical" attack. Why would a "healthy" bank threaten a "lowly" blogger for doing a public service? After all, the CBN is conducting a "Special Examination" of the bank. Well, if anything happens to me, I guess my wife and kids will know who to hold responsible. I plan to take this threat seriously. I won't be bullied. I remain an intrepid newshound.

i have friends with intercontinental bank , there is nothing wrong with the bank, it's a customer sensitive bank . staff salaries and benefits are being paid consistently.The banking has been fulfulling all its obligations even before its due and still in very good standing other international banks. The 10000 minimum balance has been reversed when found not readily accepted by customers. There has never been an claim of walking into the bank and not been able to withdraw your deposits no matter how big,  to be contd.            long live intercontinental bank plc,

Actually, I have 4 sisters and 1 brother living there, and I will join them in August for university. 

Yes, I know I am known on nairaland for selling stuff. Well, while Im waiting to enter university, I am constantly on my PC twenty four hours a day in my room.

The thing is that banks think Nigerians are illiterate. They think Nigerians just wake up one day and open an account with any bank. I dont know about that. But I study the websites of banks, before I make a desicion of which bank to use. Back then Intercontinental sounded nice, today it sounds like sh*t.

I've closed my Intercontinental Bank account and opened an account with a bank that I dont think can fail, because it is located in many countries. I opened an account with Ecobank.

Nairalanders, I want to ask, how come Ecobank shares are not going up or down, they are just staying at twenty something Naira. Is it that they froze the buying and selling of their shares. Because its been at the same share price for a long time since last year, anyways, this is the bank that I am putting my babies (money) in for now.

Please SOLUDO, I am not working for Ecobank, and trying to demarket Intercontinental.

1. The Nigerian man's head is half of the chinese men's heads.

2. The Nigerian should be crying for his life, but he is looking very stubbon   

3. It is obvious that the white background was done with photoshop.

4. If you look closely, the Mary J bags were copied and pasted onto the original picture.

5. There is no way all those bags will fit in the suitcase in the picture![/size]
