Fans of singer Brymo have slammed the singer following shocking, controversial and questionable comments made by the singer from a tribalistic point of view. The singer had shared in different posts on his social media platform from the 31st of December 2022 why he would not vote for the presidential candidate. From the posts shared, fans were able to deduce that the comments and his reasons for not selecting a specific candidate had been tribally motivated.

Brymo also confirmed this in a series of tweets, some of which read:

Maybe… yet I would not pick to near make sure of that … and since the south-west unites us all, Lagos for precision !!…come rain or shine… lol… BAT is … NVM!!.. there’ll be no anarchy.. and the east hurts enough for all to shake when power goes there, plus these matters.

These views prompted his fans, who all happen to be from different tribes in the country react negatively to this point of view, especially in a country like Nigeria, which has witnessed ethnic-motivated clashes in the past.

In an exclusive conversation with Radar Radio, Oxlade disclosed the startling reason he does not smoke. The singer of “Ku Lo Sa” disclosed that his lack of smoking was due to his asthma.

“What else, I’m asthmatic, many people don’t know. I’ve got asthma. So I don’t smoke, at all”

he told the interviewers.

When he was if he has ever tried smoking, the singer replied in the negative stating that it wasn’t good for his health.

He stated that he, however, is a ceremonial drinker and only drinks when he has to and not because he enjoys doing so.

This came as a surprise because it is the first time the musician has disclosed his health situation.

The fantastic and trend-setting musician also revealed that Ku Lo Sa was not planned to be released as a song. He stated during the interview no musician no his life-changing song as ‘Ku Lo Sa‘ was just another song for him but he is grateful for its success.

He expressed gratefulness to God for using the song to move from an underrated artist to one of the industry’s hottest artists.

When asked how is dealing with the new level of fame, Oxlade stated that it has helped him not to feel pressured as he is gradually sieving and learning from the moment.

The year 2022 has been amazing for Oxlade, but fans are excited about what to expect from the singer in 2023.

Veteran Nigerian disc jockey, Oluwaforijimi “Jimmy” Adewale Amu, popularly known as DJ Jimmy Jatt, has made it known that he had a kidney transplant.

The OG-DJ, who is known for his longevity and immense contribution to the Nigerian music industry, today, September 16, 2022, made a shocking revelation about battling kidney disease and even having a transplant.

According to the DJ, Wednesday, September 16th, 2022, makes it six months since he had the transplant, which was done in Lagos, Nigeria, after choosing to come down from the United States, where his family is.

In the shared video, Uncle Jimmy, as he is popularly called, expressed his gratitude to God for granting him a second chance and also thanked “Zenith Medical and Kidney Centre”, the hospital where he had the successful transplant.

DJ Jimmy Jatt also went on to state that he has chosen to become an ambassador for Kidney Transplant to ensure that the public is given proper knowledge about it. In the long post, he wrote:

My father used the difference between cars & humans to teach me a lesson in humility.

If you broke cars down, you would find a difference in horse power, number of plugs & exhausts, gear systems etc but dissecting any two humans would reveal the same 206 bones, 1 heart, 2 kidneys, 1 skull..etc.

So pomposity makes no sense & that has been my creed all my life. We are all the same.

But this experience has reinforced the fact that we all also do share the frailty of life in common. No one is promised tomorrow.

A very successful kidney transplant (exactly 6months today) has futher deepened my appreciation for life’s most important things & gratitude to God.

My gratitude joyfully extends to the management and staff of @zenithmedicalandkidneycentre for the most professional execution of the surgery. The warmth and reassurance of the entire team was immeasurable

Nigerian singer, songwriter, and entrepreneur Oluwatosin Ajibade, popularly known as Mr Eazi, has become a sponsor in the Ghana’s Premier League with a $6million Investment.

The star who is an acute businessman has through his online gaming platform ‘BetPawa’ Invested $6milion to become a major sponsor of Ghana’s Premier League.

The Ghana Football Association (GFA) announced this on their Instagram page as well as at a formal signing event in Accra, ahead of the 2022–23 season’s start on September 2. According to reports, the three-year contract will cost $6 million.

The partnership will concentrate on “appropriately marketing and positioning the elite league to become one of the most successful and attractive on the continent,” according to the GFA.

Nigerian ace singer and songwriter, Tiwa Savage, did not shy away from speaking about “one-minute men” during her recent performance in Uganda.

Ne-Yo’s wife is so sick of his cheating.

Crystal Smith took to Instagram on Saturday night to accuse the R&B singer of infidelity with multiple women over the course of eight years.

“8 Years. 8 Years of lies and deception. 8 years of unknowingly sharing my life and husband with numerous women who sell their bodies to him unprotected.. every last one of them!” she wrote. “To say I’m heartbroken and disgusted is a understatement.”

In her public statement, the model claimed that Ne-Yo asked her to remain in the marriage despite his infidelity. However, she is tired of saving face and is done with the relationship.

“To ask me to stay and accept it is absolutely insane. The mentality of a narcissist. I will no longer lie to the public or pretend that this is something it isn’t,” she continued. “I choose me, I choose my happiness and health and my respect. I gained 3 beautiful children out of this but nothing else but wasted years and heartache.”

She also asked her followers to stop “sending me videos or information of him cheating,” and that she wishes her husband the best despite the circumstances.

Ne-Yo and Smith married for the first time in 2016 before announcing their separation four years later. In April, they remarried in a lavish Las Vegas ceremony. The couple shares three children–Shaffer, 6, Roman, 3, and Isabella, 1.

The 42-year-old singer has not directly responded to his wife’s claims, but he seemingly acknowledged them by liking her post.

Their turbulent marriage inspired Ne-Yo’s latest album Self Explanatory, including the lead single “Don’t Love Me.”

“That was kind of a teary moment because the song was written in the throes of us potentially getting a divorce,” he told “ET.” “I didn’t realize it in the moment but I can say this now, that the open letter was me trying to cop out.”

UPDATE: Ne-Yo has responded to the cheating accusations by asking for privacy while he deals with the “challenges” with his family.

“For the sake of our children, my family and I will work through our challenges behind closed doors,” he wrote. “Personal matters are not meant to be addressed and dissected in public forums. I simply ask that you please respect me and my family’s privacy at this time.”

Will Smith is going on the record about the infamous Chris Rock Oscars slap.

Four months after the headline-making incident, the actor returned to social media to answer “a lot of fair questions” and issue another apology to Rock for slapping him on stage at the 2022 Academy Awards after he made a joke about his wife Jada Pinkett Smith.

In an emotional YouTube video, Smith revealed why he didn’t apologize to Rock while accepting the Oscar for Best Actor for King Richard, saying he was “fogged out at that point.”

“It’s all fuzzy,” Smith said. “I’ve reached out to Chris and the message that came back is he’s not ready to talk, and when he is, he will reach out.”

Smith also addressed Rock directly. “Chris, I apologize to you. My behavior was unacceptable and I’m here whenever you’re ready to talk.”

Additionally, he apologized to Chris’ family including his mother and his brother, Tony Rock. “I didn’t realize how many people got hurt,” he said. “Tony Rock was my man and this is probably irreparable.”

Smith said he’s been doing a lot of reflecting over the past few months and acknowledges that there is “no part of me that thinks that was the right way to behave in that moment.”

Pinkett was seen on camera rolling her eyes after Rock made his joke comparing her hair to Demi Moore’s character from G.I. Jane. But Smith says his wife did nothing to provoke the attack.

“I made a choice on my own, from my own experiences, from my history with Chris,” he said. “Jada had nothing to do with it. I’m sorry, babe. I want to say sorry to my kids and my family for the heat that I brought on all of us.”

He also apologized to his fellow Oscar nominees including Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson, who won the award for Best Documentary just moments after the slap.

“To all my fellow nominees, you know, this is a community, It’s like I won because you voted for me,” Smith said. “And it really breaks my heart to have stolen and tarnished your moment. I can still see Questlove’s eyes. You know, it happened on Questlove’s award. And, you know, it’s like, I’m sorry really isn’t sufficient.”

Smith admitted that he was disappointed in himself for letting others down. “Disappointing people is my central trauma. I hate when I let people down,” he said. “So it hurts me psychologically and emotionally to know that I didn’t live up to people’s image and impression of me.”

He continued, “I am deeply remorseful and I’m trying to be remorseful without being ashamed of myself. I’m human and I made a mistake and I’m trying not to think of myself as a piece of shit.”

Smith ended the video by promising to learn from his mistakes. “I know it was confusing, I know it was shocking,” he said. “But I promise you, I am deeply devoted and committed to putting light and love and joy into the world. And, you know, if you hang on, I promise we’ll be able to be friends again.”

In the wake of the controversy, the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences banned Smith from returning to the Oscars or attending any other Academy events for the next 10 years. Some of his film projects have also been put on hold, including Bad Boys 4.
